Si la paix et la solitude sont ce que vous cherchez, vous l’avez trouvé! Situé au bout d'une route de campagne isolée, le Rockin 'Star Ranch est une escapade de luxe où le temps semble s'être arrêté. RSR consiste à échapper à la vie urbaine pour renouer avec la famille, les amis et tout ce que la nature a à offrir. Cette liste VRBO est en fait 1 des 8 cabines différentes situées sur le ranch (33 adultes et plus). Western Star peut être réservé sous cette liste ou l'ensemble du ranch peut être réservé sous sa propre liste de ranch Rockin Star. Nos commodités comprennent une cuisine extérieure, une piscine, de grands pâturages, des balançoires à pneus, des cours, des cabines, des étangs de pêche (attraper et relâcher), les bois et une salle de jeux située dans le garage de la maison principale. La salle de jeux a une table de ping-pong, des fléchettes, des fers à cheval, un trou de maïs et un télescope!

Great Family Getaway!

We had such a lovely couple of days at the Ranch. Our kids were so entertained by all the activities on the property. Great memories were made horseback riding, holding baby chicks, playing with the dogs, swimming in the pool, and making s'mores.

My family loved their time there there was so much to do. My grandkids had so much fun at the pool. And they got to see baby longhorns that were just born. They’ll remember that for the rest of their lives the owner goes out of his way to make sure you have the best experience Thank you, Darrell.

My husband and I spent a week in Texas with Rockin' Star Ranch being our last, and by far, favorite spot! Darrell was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival, as well as throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and was always available to answer questions. We decided to book a horse riding outing for our final day, which is not something I was planning on doing, and Darrell was so gracious that when I told him I didn't have boots with me he found some for me to borrow! Now that is excellent service! Darrell's son, Dylan, took us out riding and showed us everything we needed to know as far as getting the horses prepared and how to handle them during the ride. As a first timer I was definitely anxious prior to starting, but Dylan put my mind at ease and I was able to enjoy it more than I expected.The facilities are great! The pool was so refreshing during the hot Texas summer weather. We were offered a tour of the property and encouraged to reach out if we needed anything. Darrell and his sons were so welcoming throughout our time at their ranch.There are so many animals to interact with: horses, goats, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and the cutest little deer they rescued. As an animal lover, I was in heaven!They have a huge event center and it would make for a wonderful place to have a wedding.I would highly recommend Rockin' Star Ranch to everyone!

Great Get Away

Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking.

Great place to stay in Brenham

Would definitely come back! There's a great balance between having your own space and relaxing while also having plenty to do outside of the cabin on site. Very convenient to downtown Brenham, other activities, and restaurants. The host was very friendly and welcoming as well!

A great weekend get away!

We visited Rockin Star Ranch as a group of moms and boys. Everything was on point! From the cabins to the horseback riding, the hayride and the amazing staff. We will be back!

Best family getaway

Loved the ranch, so quiet and serene. The facilities were very comfortable and the host, Darrell was amazing from beginning to end. We enjoyed swimming, grilling, horseback riding, the game room, and more. Hitting up Rockin Star Ranch will definitely be a family tradition going forward.

Relaxing getaway!

Very convenient to a wedding location we were attending but found a great place for future vacations! They even have a huge venue facility for weddings/parties. This working ranch is so much more than what we expected; pool, pond, outside kitchen and lounging area, pool table, ping pong, bikes, games. Host quickly responded to questions. This would be a great place for extended family get togethers or vacations.

Rustic Charm

We had hoped the grandkids would be joining us during the day, but with Covid it did not happen. However, another family was out and they enjoyed all the activities and we saw in their eyes the fullness of being happy and running about safely. The animals were polite and fun to pet. It just cannot be expressed in words the charm this place, its people, and the beauty of the Earth offer. Great relaxing few days. Will indeed try to come back post Covid.

Country Heaven

From the stars at night to the detail in each cabin you will truly feel like you belong in this slice of Heaven. The Host Darrell goes far beyond to make sure you have the best time. I highly recommend booking a horseback riding adventure with him too. He was so patient with our small kids and taught them everything from getting a horse ready, saddling, bathing and putting your horse back. Our room was very comfortable and had anything you needed to grill or relax with a glass of wine. The grounds have so much to explore and see but the best part is access to the animals and seeing them up close. We can’t wait to come back. Darrell has put his heart and soul into his ranch and you will feel that.

Fun Family Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Rockin' Star Ranch. My young children loved the animal interactions and room to explore. The pool, fishing pond and outdoor kitchen were beautiful...much nicer than what I expected from a ranch. I loved that we were allowed to pick food from the garden and eggs from the chicken coop to cook while on site! Such a fun lesson to teach the kids where our food actually comes from! The staff were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The ladder to the loft in our cabin was very steep so definitely not accessible to young kids or those with mobility limitations but a nice option for extra bedding. Depending on how booked the property is, be aware that the shared amenities (pool and outdoor kitchen and seating area) can become a little crowded. It was not an issue for us, but may be a problem if you prefer more privacy or personal space. We would recommend this property to others and look forward to returning!

Great get-away close to home!

COVID! You have kept people from traveling and we needed to get away! Rising Star Ranch I found when I googled 'Texas cabins' and the bonus was it is just a short hour drive from home! My husband and our 2 grandsons, 4 and 6, and I arrived on Tuesday and were met by Darrell who showed us all around the property. We got settled into the Patio Cottage and changed into swimsuits, because, well...4 and 6 year olds! The pool was nice and clean and not crowded. There is a rock wall that is the star of the pool. It took a little coaxing to get the boys to jump, but they saw the fun others were having and they quickly joined in the fun. After supper there was a hayride that took us out to the pasture and the kids were able to feed the cows the much desired cubes! So fun to watch! The next 2 days were much the same...swim, rest, swim, eat, swim......what a hidden treasure that we already plan to go back! Thank you, Darrell!

A fantastic, relaxing getaway at a Texan Ranch!

My wife, 3 year old daughter and I recently celebrated her 40th birthday at Rockin Star Ranch. It was a FANTASTIC! We stayed at Western Star cabin. It was perfect! The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our weekend. The bed was really comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was amazing and they provided all shower essentials including q-tips and cotton balls. The kitchen in the cabin was stocked for our basic needs and the communal outdoor kitchen was fully stocked for all needs. We loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the patio outside the cabin, coffee in the morning, beers in the evening. Our daughter loved climbing the ladder up to the loft with me. My wife is pregnant and didn't venture up there, but we had great fun playing up in the loft. The pool is gated, well maintained and a lot of fun. We met other guests at the pool. Our daughter had so much fun playing with the other children and we enjoyed chatting with the adults. It was such a nice change from the isolation we’ve been experiencing for the past 2 months or so due to Covid-19. The communal kitchen which is right beside the pool was also a great place to hang out and get to know the other guests. It was easy to keep an eye on the children as they roamed about the facilities. For us, we were able to give our daughter a sense of freedom at the ranch compared to the apartment complex we currently live in. Darrell, the host, is so welcoming, happy to chat with you, helps with anything you need and we were lucky to get a hay ride tour of the ranch. We enjoyed touring the ranch with him and the other guests. Our daughter loved feeding all the animals and being allowed to pet them. She had so much fun petting the kid goat and the fawn (baby deer). Guests are allowed to collect eggs and take produce from the garden. Overall, it was an absolutely brilliant weekend for all 3 of us. We were able to relax and have fun and feel like we were on vacation! We LOVE this place so much that we’ve booked another weekend! We suggest you do the same and book some time at the Rockin Star Ranch!
