Sisters' Get-Together

My sister and I enjoyed this cozy apartment, giving us a place to gather with our other sister in the area. It was the perfect spot for us. Comfortable rooms, all the amenities we needed and as a bonus, lovely gracious hosts!

Cozy stay in Manchester!

We loved our stay at this property. We have two small children and they felt like they were at their second home during our vacation. The property was comfortable, clean, with well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our hosts were incredibly responsive to messages! Highly recommend!

Friendly and accommodating

Carol unlocked the apartment prior to our stay and greeted us upon arrival. When asked, she provided suggestions on places to go and restaurants to dine in. We had a wonderful stay in Manchester Center with plenty of hikes and restaurants to keep us busy over our time there.

Retreat weekend

We were attending a weekend retreat in E. Dorset. The accommodations were perfect for us four women. While we didn’t spend much time at the house it had everything we needed. The location was perfect only 4 miles from the retreat and close to downtown Manchester.

Great apartment, awesome location!

My husband, 2 little kids and our dog enjoyed our stay very much! The apartment was exactly as advertised— and it was clean, fully stocked and the owner was very helpful / easy to communicate with. Plenty of space/beds and we loved having amenities like laundry and a full kitchen. The location was perfect— close to 2 ski mountains (Bromley and Stratton), plenty of hiking nearby and a cute town for shopping and restaurants in Manchester. We will definitely look to book again in the future, highly recommend!

Doesn't look like the pictures

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay at this property. The house was not as it is represented in the pictures. The sink didn’t drain, and the entire bathroom smelled like mold. This was our third time staying here, and unfortunately, the issues we reported the previous year were still not addressed. Upon arrival after a 7-hour drive, the house was a stifling 86°F. The owner does not allow the air conditioner units to run unless you are physically in the house. She also texts you to close the window blinds, blocking the incredible mountain view, in an effort to save money on electricity. Despite staying here multiple times, we noticed that even the towels had not been updated in three years. Parking is a hassle, as there is only one space available, and the owners park their three cars so close that it is difficult to get in and out. Accessing the trash is another inconvenience, as it is only possible when the owner remembers to open the garage. Additionally, the owners came banging on our door at 10 PM, demanding to speak with us, which made us very uncomfortable. As great as the location is, these issues severely detracted from our stay. We hope the owners take these concerns seriously and make the necessary improvements.

Hi Alyson, we're glad you found your previous visits to our home enjoyable enough to book again this year, but we're disappointed that this visit didn't go as well as the others. We followed up with the owner about your feedback and want to clarify the following:- Evolve did mistakenly note "Central A/C" in the property information instead of just "A/C" since what we have is window units in the home, and this information has now been corrected on the listing - We know that last year, we had to reach out to you multiple times during your stay about not leaving the other windows open when the A/C window units were on to conserve energy and the cooling ability of the units- We reached out to you about this point when you checked in this year due to the couple of times that we noticed this happen during your stay last year, and we were surprised that your communication and issues mentioned seemed retaliatory right away- We always respond within 2 minutes of hearing from guests staying at our property except between the hours of midnight and 6 am, and we come to resolve any issues promptly so our guests can enjoy their stay- We came and knocked so we could help with the list of issues you said you found on the check-in night, especially since we had just checked the property for inspection after cleaning, but when you declined the help at that time, we kindly left We genuinely go above and beyond for our guests so they can enjoy beautiful Vermont. We have an excellent record of reviews, and we're really sad to see how this reservation played out in such a negative way, which we've never encountered. We look forward to providing many more guests with great stays in the future!

Great place

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at this rental, the weather was not great but when the sun came out it was nice to have a Mountain View out all the front windows. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Very spacious for the type of property. Enough room for our small dog to do zoomies around the living room! Would recommend and hopefully we will be coming back.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a two-bedroom apartment above the garage and next door to the owner's house, but with a side entrance, it felt completely separate. The place was clean, neat and very conveniently located to Manchester, VT and nearby hiking and other outdoor activities. The owners were extremely helpful in suggesting local places to go and made contact before our arrival to make sure the check-in went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!
