Three Maple Drive Contemporary with Beautiful Views
Our house is bright, airy and well appointed. Located on a beautiful dirt road with two horse farms within walking distance, it is perfect for walking and running. Three Maple Drive is considered one of the best foliage roads in the area. There are hikes and snowshoeing trails close to our house. Manchester Center is less then 3 miles away and you can get to Bromley, Magic and Stratton mountains in under 30 minutes. The home has high ceilings and lots of big windows so you really feel part of the environment. Enter through the mud room which has the laundry and a half bath. The house has 4 bedrooms, one with a sleeping loft, two living rooms, sunporch, open kitchen dining room, basement with ping pong, peloton and other exercise equipment. We enjoy great views which you can enjoy both outside and from inside the house. The open floor plan on the first floor allows for easy and fun dinners and entertaining. There are various sitting areas so you can cozy up with a book in the sun porch , hang out in the den and play some board games or sit with a glass of wine by the fireplace. The perfect house for a relaxing vacation in Vermont.
It was magical! The snow blanketed the woods; the sunrises and sunsets from this house were amazing; the walks in the woods on the Pew Trail (just down this sweet road) were inspiring! We are deeply grateful to Mary for her hospitality!
We had 5 adult-aged boys, my wife, and myself stay for 5 nights while visiting Stratton for some ski. Although the outside temps were single digits, the home was always warm and cozy. Add in the fireplace and you just sink into night. Mary was a terrific host and communicated with us for any questions or concerns. Highly recommend this home if you are staying in the area!
We had a wonderful weekend at this home in Manchester! The view from the backyard and the location in general was amazing. We were able to enjoy the fire pit, visit Bromley mountain and visit downtown with ease. It was my mothers birthday celebration and the host was kind enough to leave a cake and card which was so sweet I would highly recommend!
This house is beautiful - immaculate, well appointed and served as a wonderful place for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving and our dadâs birthday. Beautiful property and views. The homeowners were an absolute pleasure. Communication with Mary was fantastic and we were greeted with a welcoming note and a delicious apple pie. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
The location was absolutely perfect. Not too remote but plenty of privacy. The views are spectacular.
The layout of the home is ideal for families and you feel like youâre staying at your auntâs home. Everyone slept well!
The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed to cook full family meals.
The host was thoughtful, very available and gave some great local tips.
We loved our stay in this beautiful home in Manchester. It was spacious with 2 family rooms a beautiful sitting room with a view and a large kitchen with dining room. And it had all the amenities. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent communication with the owner. Our favorite part was relaxing on the back deck each morning and evening enjoying the view of the mountains. Would love to stay again as we come yearly for the horse show.
So many great things to say--the house is spacious with multiple sitting areas--many with great views of the mountains. The sunroom seating area was a great place to catch the sunrise. The main living room has a lovely fireplace that had plenty of wood that was pre-stacked and ready to go. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans, plates, utensils etc. We like to stay in and cook in so it was perfect. The photos are accurate so you can get a good sense of the rooms. The house was clean and neat and the host was very easy to work with. Itâs close to townâmade getting around easy. So many great things about this house. Hope to be back soon!
Lovely home close to town. Great for families with kids.
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children, (ages 1 and 6) and our friends who also had 2 children, (ages 4 and 7). It worked perfectly for 2 separate families with kids. There was room to spread out so that no one felt on top of each other, yet there are also spaces for the adults to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee together, or a glass of wine by the fireplace at night.
The kids loved the bonus space in the basement with a basketball net and ping pong table. There is also a family room on the first floor where the kids liked to play. Mary was super easy to communicate with and I appreciated that she brought her high chair up from their basement for our 1 year old to use. The home has a great backyard that the kids also enjoyed. The views from the back of the house are great as well.
We were in Vermont to ski and it was the one weekend that there was not a lot of snow, but the home entertained us all in spite of the lack of snow. The home is a close car ride into town to any of the restaurants or shopping. We would definitely stay here again!
