The house was nice and clean. Neighborhood was great and u felt very safe. House is older and needs a few repairs. Stay was good, King Street metro was not far and that how we went to the city each day. Would rent again if back in the DC area.
My team was in the area for work for two weeks and this property was perfect for them. It's convenient to Metro, the airport, and restaurants. The property was excellently maintained and clean. We would definitely book here again when returning to the area.
Will probably end up booking again if i ever visit DC! Nice place with spacious back yard! Just a couple spiders here and there but thatâs expected! Overall good stay!
Place was great for 5 guys visiting the area, everyone had their own bed and adequate space in the living area. We were even able to cook a couple meals with the utensils in the kitchen which was very nice. Parking is a little tight for my F250 but was workable.
We had a family Christmas in Alexandria. The house had plenty of room for all of us. The owner is very responsive and provided information promptly. Check in and check out were very easy. The house is very accessible and near DC and Old Town. The street is narrow and has a dead end, but parking was always available.
Overall very happy with our stay here. The registration process is very intense, I've never had so many steps to confirm a booking and some of the info they ask for is a bit invasive. But the place was quiet and comfortable & everything we needed for our trip, and they were very proactive in reaching out with info about my stay.
One rec to make our stay better: install ventilation in the upstairs bathroom, it got super humid with no way to air out the space.
The property needed repairs. Doors loose , would not close. Safety rails loose on front walk. Front gate needs to be repaired. living room couch needs to be replaced.
These are small things but if corrected will enhance the property.
This house was available in the nick of time. Our first house with another group got taken away at the last minute and this turned out to be a better place for the same cost. Clean, updated, and centrally located for our needs. Checked all our boxes. Doubt we'll be in the DMV again anytime soon but would recommend this abode to all who are interested.
Great location with quick access to everything in the DC area. Very close to the airport which was a plus when catching an early flight out, but you did have noise from the airplanes during our stay. The place has its charm. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided. Provided coffee and it appeared to have what you would need to cook on your own. However, we didnât try so I canât confirm. Nice little kitchen. Old Town Alexandria is a nice place to walk around with good food and great ice cream, Jeniâs. Neighborhood felt safe. Parking is available, but will be tight if you have more than one vehicle. Space was sufficient. It was a little cramped in the common area when the family (6) wanted to chill after walking all day. Bathrooms were less than ideal with the upstairs bathroom door not able to remain closed. (To keep it shut all the way, you would have to press against it with your knee while youâre on the throne.) The bathroom in the basement was tiny and the shower would back up if you didnât move the no-slip mat. No frills or extra space but the bathroom worked.

Alexandria, Virginia, is a city on the Potomac River, just south of Washington, DC. Itâs known for its Old Town, with brick sidewalks and well-preserved 18th- and 19th-century buildings. King Street is lined with boutiques and specialty shops.
