This was an ideal location for us. Nestled between the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. On good weather days, we hiked the Green Mountains and drove through small villages and towns. When the rain chased us off the trails, we were centrally located to go on drives and explore other areas to the north and east. Our host was welcoming, but also gave us our space to relax and enjoy our stay.Would highly recommend.Thanks again for a great stay!

We just had another lovely stay with Peter in Whiting, VT. This property has been our go-to for our daughter’s Middlebury College move-ins and it never disappoints. The location is lovely and Peter is the consummate host. The apartment is well appointed and the host always adds little touches that make the experience extra special.Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway location

We truly enjoyed the property and location. Apartment loft was very clean, it was a quiet location close to amazing bike rides, lakes and great restaurants. Peter is the perfect host, he was there to greet us and was available to answer questions during our three night stay. We plan to return very soon.

Five summer days in Vermont

Very clean quiet setting, conveniently close to Middlebury College. Close to all the venues for our visit to Otter Creek Music Festival.Well-stocked fridge for breakfast and bathroom supplies had everything we could want. Host Peter insisted on carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. Couldn’t ask for a better host.

Nice property and kind hosts

We enjoyed our stay very much. Peter and Graziella are excellent hosts. They left vases of beautiful fresh flowers, breakfast items and lots of fresh fruit. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful place close to Middlebury

We had a wonderful stay. We were there to visit our son at Middlebury which was only 15min away. Peter was wonderful to communicate with and was there when we arrived to show us around. The place was great. Very cozy and clean and had all the amenities we needed for our short stay. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Bountiful Abode

Our apartment was a spacious loft with two beds, bathroom and tub, two couches and a full kitchen. The orchard and gardens around were abundant and our hosts generous! We had a marvelous time connecting! Thank you!

Lovely stay

Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, even leaving milk, cheese, eggs, bread and butter in the refrigerator. Coffee was also available for us to use. Unit was very clean and plenty of towels and linens. The queen bed and twin bed were very comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy and received quick responses. It is as pictured in the listing. It was an easy ride to Middlebury College and Middlebury downtown area. Thank you!

Spacious & quiet...

Peter and Graziella have created a superb open loft--in an orchard and decorated it with whimsical and elegant vintage pieces. Spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and refreshing. Easy access and clear instructions as well as quick reply to texts made this a first class work-stay in the Middlebury area. I look forward to a return trip!

Great apartment south of Middlebury

Everything was as advertised. Very clean. Kitchenette had fridge, 2 burners, microwave and countertop toaster/oven. Unit was nicely decorated, bed was confortable. Fresh fruit, milk, butter, cheese, eggs upon arrival. Peter was a very gracious host, arranging for a late arrival. Would stay again.

Beautiful,Comfortable and Relaxing

We loved the space from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect for that “getting away from it all” feeling but still close to things to do. The apartment was perfect for our Anniversary trip. The layout, decor and artwork create a welcoming feel. The breakfast ingredients ,fresh flowers and a special surprise for our celebration was so appreciated. The hosts were respectful of our privacy but available and communicated well. We were able to relax and enjoy this beautiful part of the state. We hope to return soon!

Vermont at its best

Perfect for a couple who love apple orchards like us. The room was well appointed, the kitchen area allowed us to cook meals very effectively. The host provided coffee, sugar and milk, fresh eggs and vermont cheese for omelettes and english muffins. Great way to start our journey every day. Excellent bath/shower and soaps provided. We look forward to staying here again.

My family stayed at the apple orchard apartment on Labor Day weekend '23 right before Middlebury's first year student drop off. We found the environment charming and calming, and we definitely hope to stay there again.

Another wonderful visit

We were lucky enough to stay at Peter’s beautiful apartment for the second year in a row while we moved our daughter in at Middlebury College. The apartment is clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated, and Peter is the consummate host. In addition to a huge vase of wildflowers, Peter also stocked the refrigerator with breakfast provisions and a big bowl of fresh fruit. I cannot recommend staying here enough!

Lovely apple orchard

Loved the space and the property. Natural beauty everywhere you look. The hosts are gracious and anticipated needs. Fresh flowers everywhere in the apartment made it so homey, a beautiful touch. Truly enjoyed the artwork by Gracilella. Will certainly stay there again if we are in the area.

Nice big space. Very clean. Kind host left some food items for first morning breakfast. Summer cut flowers were a lovely surprise that were enjoyed. There are stairs so may not be accessible if that is a concern.

Beautiful Farm in the Rolling Hills

We had a wonderful stay at Peter’s farm house apartment. Everything was as described very comfortable place centrally located. Peter met us when we arrived and help carried our luggage upstairs. He told us he had left us some items for breakfast. The first night we had intense thunderstorms with tornado warnings. Peter informed us we could go in the basement if we felt more comfortable down there. We decided to stay in the apartment all ended well. Do to us not being able to go out for dinner we ended up using the food Peter had left for us our dinner was very satisfying. We truly enjoyed our time at the Farm .
