This place was beautiful! Me and my family of 5 enjoyed ourselves so much! The place was so clean and smelled amazing, it was very inviting and the Manager had such great hospitality! We come every year and this is by far the best place to stay, we will be using them for future stays!
It was easy to get around, easy to communicate with owner and we enjoyed the house once we got settled. Repairs were made pretty fast when needed and we were comfortable before long. We're considering this for next year, and waiting for our deposit.
The house was great but needed a little TLC. The front door deadbolt needs to be addressed. The slider to the pool does not lock. The pool needs a little TLC to get the skimmer to work properly. Our last night was not pleasant as a neighbor had a party with loud music and shouting until 0500. The rooms were clean and so was the bedding. The distance to the theme parks, food and restaurants was reasonable. Overall, my family had a great tume. With a few adjustments this will be a five star property...thank you.
When we arrived the air conditioner was set to over 80 and it was incredibly hot in the entire house. The AC also had a limit on how cold you could put it. There were no fans in any rooms other than the master bedroom and it was unbearable to sleep, especially in the downstairs bedrooms. The mattresses are hard as rocks and incredibly loud, you couldn't flip over without waking up the other person in the room. The owner responded quickly UNTIL we checked in. After check in our messages were ignored. We asked about heating for the pool and were ignored. The back door sticks and is incredibly difficult to close. The pool light wouldn't turn on either so it was dark in the backyard. The sofa was dirty, the ice maker in the fridge was frozen, we ended up having to buy ice. The water heater wouldn't last and half of us had to take cold showers. Then to top it all off we are being charged an additional cleaning fee of over $250 for DIRTY TOWELS! It is ridiculous and this property owner is ridiculous as well.
I scheduled to stay at this location Friday-Monday before Spring Break. Check in was supposed to be on Friday at 4:00 pm but the property manager canceled the reservation on the Friday I was supposed to check in at 7:00am. I called the Vrbo customer service to see what had happened since the property manager didnât give me a reason for cancellation and wouldnât respond to my messages. The Vrbo team booked a hotel about 35 minutes away from the original location but only gave me one room with two beds which doesnât make up for the 5 bedroom house I had booked. The team assured me they would reach out via email to book another location for the weekend(they never did), at that time I told them I already had another house in mind for a replacement and asked them if I could book it on my own since I didnât want to risk it becoming unavailable. I was told that the booking department had to book on my behalf and they asked me for the house ID. This conversation happened around 12:00pm. I arrived to the hotel and kept checking my email but still had nothing. At this point itâs 9:00pm, I call customer service again, was on hold for 45 minutes while they reviewed my file, apparently the first agent I spoke with never forwarded the house ID to the booking department so, again I have no where to stay and the app wouldnât allow me to schedule a house for the following day. The agent apologized and proceeded to tell me I was on my own for booking since they had already issued a refund.
