Lovely, Kihei Maui condo, à quelques pas du sable. côté de l'océan de la route, une chambre à coucher, deux salles de bains. Profitez de la vue sur l'océan depuis la véranda de ce condo au 4ème étage et de toutes les commodités du complexe très réputé de Maui Sunset, notamment une piscine, un bain à remous, des barbecues à gaz, une connexion Internet gratuite, un ascenseur et un parking gratuit. LA PISCINE EST FERMÉE DU 4 AU 7 NOVEMBRE 2019 POUR L'ENTRETIEN ANNUEL

La chambre dispose d'un lit queen, de la climatisation et d'une salle de bain privée. Une deuxième salle de bain avec douche est hors de la zone d'habitation principale. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit dans le salon, donc nous pouvons accueillir jusqu'à quatre personnes.

Le condo est complète avec laveuse / sécheuse, et tous les appareils de cuisine et de commodités. Serviettes de plage, chaises, et une glacière sont fournis pour vos excursions de plage.

Détendez-vous avec le café du matin sur la véranda, regardant les baleines dans les mois d'hiver. Profitez des jardins tropicaux méticuleusement entretenus. La plage est à quelques pas pour de belles promenades et de beaux couchers de soleil. Le téléphone est fourni avec une connexion locale, et partout USA et au Canada appelant. Internet gratuit est également inclus.

Si vous restez 14 jours ou plus pendant la haute saison, nous fournirons un service de nettoyage une fois par semaine.

Notre gestionnaire sur l’île gère des propriétés à Maui depuis plus de 30 ans et se fera un plaisir de vous aider en cas de besoins ou de problèmes inattendus.

Elegant and immaculate grounds, right on the beach, neat views & the unit is stocked with beach gear. The original cleaning crew did not do a decent job. A/C's were great and the area was quiet. The unit needs updating but is functional. Darrick was on top of everything. We would return to Maui Sunset.

Our host was incredible with very quick responses to any questions or problems. We were there during historic storms and flooding and the wifi went out. So I contacted our host. I was embarrassed to ask, with so many people suffering all over Maui. Yet he had someone fix it within 30 minutes! Wow!

Beautiful Getaway

Loved the condo, It was very clean and comfortable. We loved sitting out on the patio in the mornings and the evenings, watching the and views of the ocean, and listening to all the bird's singing. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Amazing property at the Maui Sunset Condos

We loved our communication with host, the condo was well equipped with things you need for the house and the beach chairs were a bit for our beach days. There were even a couple body boards that we tested out and gifted a beach umbrella to the condo. The pool and amenities were abundant and the grounds were well taken care of it. We can’t wait to go back!

Great condo, great location, attentive owner

Our stay at this property was outstanding. From the time we booked the unit we could tell that the owner truly cared about our stay. We have stayed in several properties at different parts of the island and we feel we have now found our "home away from home" at the Maui Sunset. Spacious clean unit, large lanai with amazing views, beautifully manicured grounds, and an endless sandy beach for long walks right at your doorstep. Thank you Darrick for providing your beautiful condo for us to enjoy. We can't wait to return!

Liked the settting, with peek-a-boo views of ocean. Good for families and oldsters. Would bring my grandchildren to this site again. Could use an upgrade in the furnishings and a better 2nd sleeping arrangement in open area. Upgade older pull out couch bed -- so last century. Did not appreciate the high refundable fee for damages. Found stained carpeting when we arrived. Get rid of old carpeting for vinyl or other easily cleanable surface. Kehei area was active and we found things to do.

Excellent stay for the money

Clean, nice unit in good location. Quiet, decent views, comfortable mattress, well-stocked kitchen. Housekeeping showed up a day late with basic items (soap, etc), but apologized for their error. Blackout curtains in living area (near pull-out sofa) and a quieter a/c would be welcome additions. We normally stay in Wailea but took the $1000 we saved and got a puddle-jumper flight to the Big Island and took a helicopter tour of volcanoes - good decision!

Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate the candor, it helps us improve our condo and the guests' experience. I'm glad the sun comes up on the other side, but the point about black-out curtains is still very valid. I am looking into newer AC units. And yes, when something is other than perfect, we will do our best to resolve it in a timely manner and apologize for any inconvenience. What a great complex and condo - from the manicured gardens and balcony ocean views to the beach, pool and tennis/pickleball courts right outside your back door - hard pressed to find a better place to experience Maui. The Condo provided a clean, comfortable base for us to either relax or to enjoy all that Kihei and Maui have to offer. The owner was very timely with communication and incredibly accomodating as we had to extend one extra day. There are restaurants, bars, Shave Ice and grocery stores within an easy walk (all through lovely neighborhoods); and the main Kihei beaches are a couple minutes by car. We have been to Maui several times and highly recommend this Condo complex. The Condo - bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, living room furniture was comfortable. Balcony is a great place to eat meals and to just sit and look out across the gardens to the ocean. The complex staff take great pride in keeping the facility and gardens immaculate.

Really Comfortable Condo

Very comfortable condo. Nice view. Was on the south side of the two buildings, and located right behind the elevators. So, never got direct sunlight on either the balcony or the window on the south side. This meant that the condo stayed cool and we could eat lunch comfortably on the balcony without being too hot. The condo had nice furniture and all the kitchen utensils etc. that one would need, plus beach chairs, cooler, beach towels. The beach in front of the condo was nice for walking, but not the best beach for swimming. We drove to a different beach each day to swim and there are lots of them, so that didn't bother us. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time.

The property and location was great. The pool and hot tub were clean and we were able to get reclining chairs when we visited. There’s shuffle board, cricket and golf putting with everything you need available. There are at least 5 grills that are cleaned daily and used frequently by the guests. The balcony is very nice without direct sunlight, which I preferred. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and the appliances were all pretty new and functioning properly. The bathrooms definitely need updating and there is a mildew odor. I know people who live on Maui say humidity and moisture are a constant problem. The chair in the living room is not very comfortable and the coffee table is very heavy and difficult to move if you want to use the sleeper sofa. Check in was OK but we checked in after 5 so the security guard gave us our keys. We had to return to the office the following day in order to register our car which was kind of a hassle. All in all, enjoyed our time at Maui Sunset.

Thank you so much for the thorough review Sherilyn. You helped others understand what is offered at the Maui Sunset. I agree the coffee table is heavy, some would say solid, some would say hard to move, like you did. I checked the bathrooms and while I agree they are not "modern", all things work and they are maintained. I checked yesterday and did not notice a mildew odor. I will mention this to house cleaning and the owners. I do know we leave the door closed to the hall bathroom before guests arrive, perhaps we should leave it open to allow air flow while it is unused? The office is open 9-5 7 days a week, so yes, after hours check-ins need to go to the office when next open to register and get pool keys. Again, we really appreciate your review - very helpful! Ideal Central Location For Exploring

Loved the park-like grounds of Maui Sunset Condos. All employees are very friendly and helpful, and Darrick was a perfect host. Great central location between Wailea and Ma’alaea Harbor where many water sports and excursions depart. Enjoyed the local feel of Kihei. Condo itself was decent, and the bedroom is dark and comfortable with cool (although pretty loud) A/C. Water pressure in showers was great, and hot water never ran out. Furnishings are a bit dated. Living room not good for sleeping, The Sofa bed was lumpy. Our 18-year old daughter decided it was more comfortable to sleep on the sofa without pulling out the bed. Younger children probably wouldn’t care. Or a memory foam topper could be an easy fix. The living room really needs blackout curtains for both privacy (especially when someone is sleeping on sofa) and for sun protection. The sun beats in through the wall of windows in the afternoon, and the A/C and ceiling fan struggled to keep the living room cool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for the thorough review. I really appreciate, as I'm sure prospective guests do as well. I agree about the great grounds, and the beach in front of the resort seems to be a sunset magnet. I bought the condo in 2016 and although I have not replaced everything, I'd like to clarify what is new and what isn't. The bedroom furniture is all new. The vanity and shower are original. I've heard the complaint about the curtains before and have them scheduled to be replaced. The order took longer to arrive, so they will be replaced with better, privacy ones in August. The living room couch, chair and entertainment table are new, the dining table and chairs and the other two cabinets are not. The bar stools are new. The fridge, and dishwasher are new and the washer/dryer were replaced in 2018. The stove, microwave and cabinets and counter top are not new. They are in good shape and all works well. The carpet is in great shape, although not a popular color - but blue seems to be coming back. The lanai furniture was restored in 2018 too. I agree with much that you say - some day I will get a split AC system, but they're expensive. I personally find the sofa sleeper quite comfortable. I slept on it in June. As a kid, when we came to Maui, I always had to sleep on sofa sleepers and they was very uncomfortable. I bought this one specifically because it had a thicker mattress. A pillow top cannot be put on it, it has to be closed with just sheets or the mechanism will get bent. I slept on it in June and found it very comfortable, although I sure wish I had those new curtains. Thanks again for your business and your awesome review.

We were pleasantly impressed with this condo for our stay in Maui. It seemed very clean and very well cared for. Family of ours were in another unit that had better views, but was much more outdated and we personally liked the carpet in this unit. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and from the balcony you have nice views of the ocean and grounds. At least at our time of year, end of October, you can JUST not see the sunset from the balcony. I’m sure this changes at other times of the year. Just go down to the pool or huge lawn or the ocean to watch the sunset 😊 The grounds are very well cared for, the grass is so perfect it looks fake! There are 6 BBQ’s and 3 picnic tables that are conveniently located very close to this unit due to the layout of the elevator and walkways. The pool and hot tub are nice, though it is annoying that you need a key to get out as well as into the pool area... but I understand. There is shuffle board, putting, and tennis that you can play for free I believe. We played shuffle board and at least that was free. There is also an area in the pool area where you can rent SUP boards and people take them out right there at the beach there. As for the beach, it doesn’t have much “sandy” area to lay a towel, but there is enough for walking most of the time. You can also lay your towel on the grass which is just up from the sand. As for swimming in the ocean, it’s not the best... it seems a little dirty and it has good sized lose coral you have to walk on when in the water. We did it, but it’s best to go to other beaches. It is also VERY windy... but that makes for great windsurfer and kiteboarding watching. In the morning it is calm and good for SUPs. As for location, we enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to Miss Phat Sushi, Nalu’s grill, and the 4th Friday market! It’s not the most pleasant walks, but it works. All in all, we would stay here again. One big complaint I had was that the gym doesn’t open till 9AM... I enjoy working out a little at least a couple times a week and it wasn’t possible for me at that time... when you come from the mainland, 9AM is SUPER late... Also, the door needs to be pulled shut or it WILL NOT latch!! Even if it looks closed, it isn’t. It is self locking so it could be very easy to accidentally leave the condo open if you don’t check, thinking it locked itself...

Thanks for the great review. A lot of good, and fair information for others considering my condo - both positive and what can be improved. I'll keep doing what I can to make a Maui vacation a wonderful experience.
