Home est situé à 22 minutes d'Albuquerque, dans les montagnes de l'est. Assis sur 1 acre lourdement boisé, clôturé et fermé. Quartier familial calme. Près de nombreux pistes cyclables et sentiers de randonnée. Santa Fe est à une heure. Grande pêche à la mouche est à une heure. Nous avons de bonnes neiges ici en hiver et au printemps. Les cieux d'été sont spectaculaires. L'automne est coloré. N'hésitez pas à cueillir les légumes et les épices en saison.

This is a great place. The home was very comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied and equipped. The back yard with the hot tub was fabulous. I would like to return later in spring or summer. Linda’s home by far is one of the best places that we have stayed. There were so many wonderful details to make our stay peaceful and relaxing . From the birds at the bird feeder , to the fun games in the house and the hot tub we so enjoyed our time there . The home was so clean and all the furniture comfortable. Highly Recommend this home !

This cottage was the best stocked cottage I've ever stayed in. The bed was so comfy and the towels smell wonderful. Everything inside and out was perfect down to the last detail. Linda was a perfect host.

Linda’s home is amazing, there is just no other way to describe it. Her attention to detail is off the charts and this was by far, the best rental I have ever stayed in over the last ten years or so. Linda was communicative for months leading up to our stay, and the home greatly exceeded our expectations!!! Thank you so much Linda!! We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Cozy Cabin!

We have been staying in VRBO homes for several years and this was definitely my favorite! We booked this for a romantic getaway in the snowy mountains and this place did not disappoint. It was everything I had been searching for from the wood burning stove to the hot tub! The best stocked kitchen I have ever seen she thought of everything. I loved the movie collection and board games to be able to play! This was also the cleanest one I have ever stayed in and I mean very clean!! It is still close enough to town to be able to do a lot but still feel like you privacy. Will definitely be staying here again.

A perfect Christmas respite.

My husband and I had an opportunity to visit the Tijeras area for the Christmas holiday, and we could not be any happier! The cottage was just what we needed for a three night stopover on our way to Utah. Linda is certainly a gracious host, and made our trip most enjoyable. Relaxing, Quiet, and Peaceful!

We loved the beautiful mountain setting the house is located in! It was so quiet and very private. The house was immaculately clean and had everything you can possibly think of to use! I was amazed at how everything inside and out was so well thoughtout. Linda was more than accommodating. She was so detailed that I hardly had any questions, and the ones I did have, she answered quickly. The large hot tub was very relaxing! We enjoyed the backyard and everything it had to offer. Awesome and peaceful!!!

My husband and I just wanted a nice and close getaway that felt far from home and this was perfect! I cannot say enough about the wonderful job Linda has done with this place. We have rented several places throughout NM and southern CO and we can honestly say this is the cleanest and most well stocked we have come across. You can tell inside and out how much thoughtfulness and love has gone into this beautiful property! Also Linda was an amazing host leaving us a bottle of wine, fresh eggs and slipper socks so my feet wouldn't get cold on the floors! We will definitely be back in the warmer months. Would love to spend more time outside in the awesome patio areas! Loved the snow we had while there tho!

The absolute BEST getaway for couples

Linda was absolutely amazing!! She really made it a unique experience for us. We were celebrating our recent engagement and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Upon arrival, we had champagne and a sweet card waiting for us on the table congratulating us both. Fresh eggs were left for us and the hot tub had already been preheated to the perfect temperature. Linda's communication was superb, anything we needed, she was available! The property itself was beautiful and incredibly clean. We spent our nights in the hot tub or at the fire pit stargazing. It is by far one of our favorite places we have had the pleasure of staying. 10/10 HIGHLY recommended! We will be visiting again very soon!

Quiet Retreat

My husband and I decided to make a last minute Memorial Weekend getaway and found this house available. So glad it was! The house is in a nice wooded area and has lots of privacy. It is a small house but perfect for a small group. The house was spotless which is what makes or breaks a property for me. The location was close enough to easily go into Albuquerque which we did a couple of times. However if you prefer being outdoors there is plenty to do closer. We spent a day hiking in the Sandia Mountains. In the evenings there is the hot tub and they have added a gas fire pit. This was just the kind of getaway we needed. Thank you to Linda for being a wonderful host and being easily available for any questions. We would return to this property with no hesitation if we were to head to this area again.

A little to close

My husband and I have been renting VRBO’s for 15 years. I made the mistake of not asking if they live next-door. Most people put in there showings that they live next-door. We don’t rent places where the owners live next door feel like we’re being watched every minute. Or in this case listened to. It’s not as private as it looks. If you’re from a city you’ll feel it’s private. Louder than you think it will be. Very clean and nicely put together. A little pricey for the size.

We are terribly sorry you felt your privacy was invaded. Especially when it was your anniversary. I assure you there was no one listening or spying on you. As you saw from our reviews, we have never had to deal with this complaint before. Description does say quite rural family neighborhood. Yes, we live by home. Our home is well away from rental home and heavily wooded, to where guest can’t see our home, nor can we see rental. Not mention a six foot fence around rental and gated. To Future Guest: We are committed to bring the highest standards for our guest. Privacy and comfort is our #1 priority.

Stunning Property!!!!

When I first booked this property, I was worried the cottage would be a bit small; however, much to my surprise the cottage exceeded any expectations! A beautiful home loaded with ANYTHING and MORE than you need. The cleanliness of the cottage and property is stunning! The hosts take into account every little detail to ensure an amazing stay! The backyard is landscaped straight from an HGTV show - you literally feel like you are in the wilderness but still close to home. I was especially touched when Linda and Patrick left a care basket and a touching sympathy card as I recently lost my father. This was totally unnecessary and unexpected, but speaks to the wonderful people they are! I cannot say enough good things about the weekend in this property! We will be going back again very soon! Don't pass up this gem!!!

Remote location for a getaway

Good: The kitchen was well stocked and had ample tools for making a variety of meals. If you like a hot soak, the on site hot tub is perfect.A surprising positive was a large dvd collection. It was fun to pick and watch a movie.The host was generous with snacks and information concerning the area.Not as good: the neighborhood doesnt have much charm unless you are counting the neighbor’s dogs who seemed to want to eat me alive.I am not religious, but there was a little (just a little) too much Christianity in the place. Not off putting, but you felt it throughout the house.Strange but cute: Bears- I dont know if there are bears in the neighborhood (esp with those dogs) but there are definitely bears in the house and on the property. Maybe 10-20. If you have a bear thing I have found a place for you! Overall: a good place for a quick getaway from ABQ.

Thanks so much for the 5 stars Stephen! I am so sorry you felt threatened by the dog. I did talk with the neighbor, he said the dog got excited when you where walking by and the dog was fully contained. The religious signs, not understanding, there was one plaque with the name Jesus? Guilty as charged I am a follower of Christ. You where total welcome to take it down if it offended you. ( I will be putting that in my information booklet at rental for future guest) And yes I love bears,ducks,sunflowers,books,hot air balloons, and Native American art. Which are extensive through the home more so than the bears. It’s was pleasure having you stay, God Bless you, and keep enjoying life!

Peaceful mountain getaway

Property was just what we were looking for. House was well appointed with luxury linens / towels. Garden area, hot tub and front porch were a great place to wind down. Linda was always available and responded quickly to any inquiries. She’s a fantastic host. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is a great choice

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Well equipped, clean yard, great outdoor space. Very clean, plenty of bathsheet towels and washrags, hot tub robes, luxury linens. Snack basket with wine. Always acknowledges special occasions when presented with them without request. Very clean hot tub, and grill. Privacy, fenced yard and gated.
