My sister, our 91-year-old mother, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful 2-bedroom Casita in Sandia Park, NM, and our experience was nothing short of delightful.
First and foremost, the accessibility of the property was a game-changer for us. With our elderly mother using a walker, the absence of steps made it incredibly convenient for her to move around effortlessly while the thoughtful design allowed her to enjoy the comforts of home without any mobility challenges.
Upon entering the casita, we were greeted by a well-stocked kitchen, ensuring that our culinary needs were met during our stay. The cleanliness of the property was impressive, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The beds were "just right," providing a cozy and restful night's sleep, complemented by high-quality linens that added a touch of luxury.
Our only hiccup came when we attempted to do some laundry and realized there was no dryer. However, we quickly discovered that this was our misunderstanding, and it became our only minor critique of an otherwise flawless stay.
Throughout our time at the casita, our hosts were attentive although we found ourselves not needing much assistance as everything was well-prepared.
We recommend this Casita for anyone seeking a comfortable and accessible retreat. If the opportunity arises, we will book again.
