Avec un court trajet en voiture Ă  Asheville ou Black Mountain, vous ĂȘtes Ă  quelques minutes du site, de la randonnĂ©e, du rafting, du shopping, des restaurants, des brasseries et plus encore!

Swannanoa propose des repas décontractés, des épiceries, du gaz, une quincaillerie, une pharmacie - tous les 3 minutes sur la route. Soyez sur I-40 en 4 minutes. Emplacement idéal!

Pictures don't do it justice, this place is incredible

When we arrived the beauty of the stone cottage took our breaths away. Seated on the hill with a great view of the mountains in the distance. Especially spectacular at night as the sun sets behind them and the sky turns pink and orange. Then the fireflies appear and the magic and wonder that lit up in my children's eyes was something I'll never forget. The inside is cozy and clean, soft beds, hot showers, AC worked wonderfully. As we settled in a black bear came down the ridge and right up to the house. We were ecstatic! In fact we saw one every day we were there. It was an awe inspiring experience. I love the history behind the cottage and the info on Mr. B himself. It made the house feel like a home that had been loved and cherished by many. We even turned on the red and green lights to honor Mr B and make ourselves feel like a part of his legacy. I particularly loved the Polaroid station and we hung a selfie of our family of 5 up. Also the bottle of prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch!! The owners were so gracious to us. We fell in love immediately and wanted to stay an extra night which they happily accomodated. This was our first family road trip from Florida and we are happy to say that we have found "our" place in the mountains. Thank you so much for the lovely stay. We can't wait to come back!!!!

Fantastic cottage in a great location!

The cottage really is 15 minutes from downtown Asheville but it is also less than 10 minutes away from cute little downtown Black Mountain, which we knew nothing about until we went out to find pizza! Lots of places to eat right down the street. The cottage is very comfortable and we all enjoyed dining out on the patio and enjoying the views. The inside of the cabin was cool after a hot day outside and the smart tvs in the rooms made it easy for everyone to jump in their favorite streaming platform when we settled in the for the night. Per the teen that slept in it, the twin bed was a little creaky and uncomfortable so that might be an area for improvement but I imagine most kids under 10 won’t even notice. Thanks for a great stay!

My family loved Mrs. B's Cottage. It the perfect size for the four of us with everyone getting their own bed. From the sunset views off the front porch and the patio above the garage to cozy feel of the living room, the house was great. We are looking forward to staying here again.

Mr. B's cottage is in a great location for traveling in any direction to see various attractions. It was clean and comfortable with a great porch to sit on and watch the world go by. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin close to everything!

This cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. Description was accurate and we had a wonderful trip! Everything we wanted to see/do was within 30 minutes. Hosts were very responsive and wonderful to work with! Would 100% go back to this place.

This cute stone cottage was perfect for our weekend get away. Its super close to the downtown area but still had that secluded mountain house feel. I loved every bit of this home!

Exactly As Advertised

We really enjoyed our stay at Mr. B's Cottage. The house was originally built in 1932, so there is an old feel to the property. Current owners have added thoughtful updates that respect the home's history, while providing modern conveniences. The beds were most comfortable! The Nest thermostat and gas fireplace kept the cottage cozy. A convection oven in the modern kitchen really sped up preparing meals. A highlight of the cottage is having a separate sitting area from the living room. Mr. B's cottage is sure to keep movie and book lovers both happy! My one recommendation to the owners would be to consider putting blinds/curtains on the kitchen windows that face the road. With early winter sunsets, that would provide just a bit more privacy. Overall, this property is a 100%. Definitely recommend!

Perfect accommodation

For this pair of New Mexicans, our stay in Mr. B’s Cottage at the height of the North Carolina Fall foliage was magical. Hikes, Blue Ridge Pkwy, and exploring the area during the day then coming back to this well appointed, very comfortable cottage made for a very memorable trip. We loved all the outdoor spaces for enjoying sunsets and watching birds.

Great Stay at Mr B’s

Cottage was so clean and perfect for our little getaway. It had great vibes, was quiet, charming and quaint. Had my grandparents lived to be old, I could imagine visiting them in just such a place. Cozy on a chilly October night!

Perfect Location

If you like old homes with creaky wood floors then this is a place for you. My husband and I plan on staying here again. The owners are so very nice, we had 2 minor issues and they were very quick in response. Perfect location for us, 10 mins to Asheville, 10 mins to Black Mountain, which we loved. Great hiking areas and not to far for apple picking. Little side note...the owners grow very tasty sweet corn!

Perfect mini stay

I booked this last minute for my senior mom and I. It was easy to access without any steps and that was important. We lucked out because this house was adorable and we loved it. The porch was wonderful and view of the sunflower field across the street was even better. I would come back and book this with a few friends or family. There was plenty of seating, the kitchen was great and the bedrooms were all comfortable. Plus it was super close to Asheville. I loved there for years and didn’t want to be in town but a little out with easy access and a cute view. Mission accomplished.

Perfect Family Get-Away

This house was perfect for our family. So clean and comfortable and included all the amenities we needed throughout our stay. We loved relaxing on the porch and taking in the view, and downtown Asheville was only a short drive away. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful historic cottage

This stone cottage was everything and more. My only regret is that we had to leave.😱 Everything about this place is about relaxation and comfort. Beds were plush, lots of games, books and entertainment. Kitchen is stocked and the appliances are in great shape. Read the wonderful history of this place and sit and relax on the beautiful front porch. This should be 10 stars.

Beautiful + Charming Cottage!

Our family of 4 stayed in the cotrage for a few days we loved every minute of our stay! The cottage was warm and inviting. The grounds are meticulously kept and the home is spotless. As country dwellers, we were thrilled that the cottage has a country vibe and was somewhat secluded. Quiet, peaceful and safe. We had a very friendly turkey who visited daily- perfect for our nature loving teens. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

My best friend of over 35 years and myself meet once a month to spend time together for a long weekend. We have been doing this each month for 30 years. We truly enjoyed the cottage!
