We had a great time. House is close to most things, but still provides peace and privacy. We even saw a mama bear and 3 cubs in the evenings. Owner was easy to reach and had a few good recommendations for activities and food.
Lovely comfortable house in a prime location. We had a great stay and found everything we needed at the location. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings. Wish our stay could have been longer. We would love to book again for a longer stay. Forgot to mention, the bedding was Very nice and our host was great.
The property was immaculate and so much space! Everything you could want was provided.Host was very responsive when we sent her a message. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was conveniently located to everything. Outdoor space was great, large back deck and spacious yard.
We stayed here while in town for our daughter's graduation from UNCA. We hosted a cookout to celebrate with 17 people and it was the perfect space for it. We especially enjoyed the deck, yard for playing lawn games, grill, and making s'mores around the fire pit. There was plenty of room for people to gather inside as well. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
We had some initial confusion at check in, but it was resolved promptly and professionally, earning a 5 star rating. Clean, comfortable, and affordable, we will be traveling to the area again soon and will look to stay here again.
This cozy home was immaculately clean. We really enjoyed the living room spaces and the comfortable beds! We would definitely rent this home again in the future.
Upon arrival weâre impressed with the great quiet location and beautiful setting. Home very welcoming and clean, the best linens! Ideal Asheville location, close to everything yet private, perfect! Weather was nice so everyone enjoyed the fire pit. Donât hesitate, itâs got it all!
I booked this home for a girls trip (4 of us) to Asheville. The home is spacious, very well maintained for its age (built in the 80âs) and is on a large partially wooded lot. We were thrilled seeing fireflies in the evening on the deck, and liked having a kitchen for meal options. The turn off into the neighborhood from the main road is not well marked (no street sign), and would be tricky if you were arriving at night. The kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, and master bath were immaculately clean. The hallway bathroomâs tub/shower had mold growing around the tub edge by the tile. We had to search for extra toilet paper (which could easily have been stored in each bathroomâs cabinet). The owner was responsive albeit a bit slow at times. Overall the home is a very good value and well suited for an adult stayâespecially 3 couples. One woman in our group slept on the sofa bed (we had anticipated this from the listing description). The location provided easy access to main highways. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.
My friends and I stayed here for a couple days and got to experience so much around Asheville. The house was amazing and communication with the host was even better! Such a great location for what my friends wanted to do. Would stay here again!
This neighborhood is very convenient, but still rural. You can be on the parkway with beautiful views within a mile or you can be in downtown Asheville in a few miles. This house is on 11 acres so you see neighbors but you donât have to be too close to them.
