Cette chambre d'hôtes adorable mais simple que nous avons nommée "Heart of Bixby Knolls" est parfaite pour une personne, confortable pour deux! Venez vous détendre dans ce studio propre et aéré avec lit réglable queen-size, mini-réfrigérateur, Internet haut débit et serviettes propres pour vous. Faites de cet appartement votre point de départ lorsque vous explorez Long Beach et toutes les zones environnantes. 5 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport de Long Beach. 20 minutes du LB Convention Center et des belles plages. 30 minutes à Disneyland et notre préféré ... Knotts.

L'espace
En haut de 9 escaliers, ce studio privé isolé est de petite taille mais grand de confort. C'est juste la bonne taille pour vous permettre de bien dormir avant une journée bien remplie. Et servez-vous des oranges et des citrons de Californie de nos arbres. Profitez du soleil!

Accès invité
L'appartement étant autonome, vous pouvez aller et venir à votre guise. N'hésitez pas à accéder à la cour arrière qui a des chaises et une table de pique-nique. Notre maison d'habitation est de l'autre côté de la cour. Nous sommes à proximité si vous avez besoin de quelque chose.

Autres choses à noter
Les premiers vendredis sont vraiment amusants. Nous ne sommes qu'à quelques pâtés de maisons de l'endroit où cela se passe à Bixby Knolls.

Marcher 3 pâtés de maisons jusqu'à Atlantic Ave et vous pouvez visiter Stateside Crafts, Dutch's Brew House, Lolas Mexican Cousine, Brooklyn Deli, EJ Malloy, Rasselbach et Cold Stone Creamery.

We have a light at the top of the stairs, please leave on when leaving so that you have light coming back at night.

We enjoy hosting people from all over. Please be respectful of our property. Please turn off heat or air conditioner before going out for the day.

Our place is small. Taking out any odorous trash and placing in can at the bottom of stairs can be keep things fresh!

Our stay

The room and neighborhood are lovely. Great bars and restaurants are within walking distance and an Uber is usually available within 10 minutes. Communication with Rita was prefect. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Clean, comfortable, & welcoming

This guest studio was the perfect place for my friend and I to stay for a quick trip to Long Beach! The location was great and I LOVED that Rita left water, toiletries, etc., for her guests to use. Felt like home.

Our stay was amazing. From the minute we arrived everything was perfect. The bed is super comfortable. The snacks and water including coffee was very convenient. We felt very safe walking through the neighborhood. Rita and Dan were kind and friendly. We will return. So many restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend.

Cute & Cozy

Rita was a wonderful host. The stay was wonderful. The space is very cozy and perfect for a quick 2 day trip. Instructions were so well explained and everything was great. I had a bit of an issue prior to my visit and she was more than willing to help out. She offered suggestions and options. Great, quiet place!

Great Host

Nice comfortable room. No frills, bed, bathroom and mini fridge. Rita the host was just wonderful, she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and you felt safe. We did enjoy an evening walk, but did not have the time to enjoy the beautiful patio and porch. Rita picked lemons from her tree for my tea, I was even able to take a few home. Would stay again!

Home Away From Home

If you're looking for a home away from home. This is THE spot. The place is clean, serene, and has everything you could possibly think of. From coffee pods and coffee machine to snacks to even toiletries. Rita and her husband have thought of it all! She also provides places to go see and some great hike ideas especially when the weather is amazing! Thank you Rita, for having me stay at your wonderful place! I look forward to staying again!! And thank you for the best lemon cupcakes I have ever had.

Great Studio Rental

While visiting my son for the weekend, we stayed at this cute studio. The owner Rita was amazing, making our stay at her rental stress free. Rita was great in communicating and checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Directions and instructions for checking in were clear and made checking in seamless. I had forgotten to pack hair spray, but there was a basket of toiletries in bathroom with hairspray! That saved me from having to go out and buy a bottle just for the weekend. There’s also a mini fridge and coffee bar with bottled water and snacks! The bed is very comfortable. Cleanliness is important to me when staying at a rental or hotel and the studio was very clean. Rita’s home is beautiful, the area feels very safe and the charming neighborhood is nice for walks. I also liked the binder of information and story of the history of the home and studio rental. Thank you Rita and Dan!

Great cozy stay

I stayed at this cozy private room for a week during my vacation to Los Angeles and I had a fantastic experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the location and surrounding neighborhood was gorgeous and tranquil. My only complaint would be that at night it did get pretty cold but the thick bed sheets and provided heater did a great job at keeping me and the room warm

Perfect for us!

Perfect room above the garage of a beautiful 1929s Spanish revival style home in a great neighborhood. The bed was comfy, the fan was enough for us in September but there was AC also. The shower had good pressure and the bathroom was clean if small. Rita thoughtfully had all sorts of spare bathroom amenities and also a fridge with lots of water plus a keurig and creamers. We could not have been happier with our stay!

Like so many reviews before this one, these accommodations were as described - easy check-in process, clean and comfortable room with all necessities. Friendly hosts made for a pleasant stay. I would definitely be returning on my next trip to LB.

I’d went to California for a distant families funeral service

The stay was amazing, we were offered to relax in Ms. Rita’s back yard and where introduced to both her and Ms. Ritas husband during our stay. They were very kind and friendly people. She’d also offered us some very delicious citrus fruit from her backyard. Overall the stay was beautiful and would recommend this spot for anyone coming to California. This location has a beautiful neighborhood and is conveniently next to a nice plaza.
