Situé sur Glenside Road à Crafers. Ce magnifique appartement est situé dans un étage fantastique pour une escapade romantique dans les collines pittoresques d’Adélaïde. Installez-vous près de la cheminée intérieure ou promenez-vous dans les magnifiques forêts de Crafers.

Niché dans une forêt de camélias et de rhododendrons, ce superbe refuge au premier étage avec accès privé et terrasse offre calme et détente à seulement 3 minutes à pied de la ville animée de Stirling, au cœur des collines Adelaide.

Le Camellia Cottage se trouve au-dessus du Redgum Cottage original et se trouve à proximité de cafés, restaurants, boutiques de souvenirs, librairies et galeries. Mt Lofty Summit, le parc animalier Cleland Wildlife Park et les jardins botaniques du mont Lofty sont à 5 minutes en voiture.

Se rendre en ville est également facile, les arrêts de bus étant facilement accessibles à pied.

Wonderful stay in the beautiful Adelaide Hills

We were very pleased with the property. A couple of suggestions for the owner to improve the property is perhaps some fly screens on the bedroom for overnight ventilation and an extractor fan in the bathroom/toilet area. Great location being in walking distance of Stirling with great cafes and hotel. Close to all the delights of Mt Lofty/Crafers ranges.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay was very disappointing because the description on the website was not accurate, especially in regards to the kitchen amenities. There was no mention of there not being a stove or hot plate or an oven. There was no kitchen equipment provided in which to be able to use the microwave, nothing to cook with, heat food in or place food on. There were no pots and pans as advertised and even a simple pasta meal was not possible to cook. I needed to buy basic equipment to use the microwave and cleaning clothes as none were provided. There was no hot water to the kitchen sink nor the bathroom basin, which was in a cupboard and difficult to use. The freeway is very close and at times noisy. However, the bed was comfortable, the shower fine and a plentiful supply of wood was provided.

Perfect Winter getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful quaint cottage nestled in a well maintained and peaceful garden setting. As you climb the outside stairs you can appreciate the view of the camellias, the gentle flowing creek in the front garden and appreciate the aroma of the wood fires of the hills in winter. The owner, Freya came up to greet us and make sure we could work the air con and informed us of the easy trails to walk to Stirling(so close) and Crafers. She couldn't have been more welcoming. WiFi was great and Freya had installed a smart TV to allow streaming services but unfortunately there were difficulties with the signal which we overcame with our own HDMI cable. We left this attached to the TV for future guests to enjoy as the living area with the woodfire (didn't provide a lot of heat but was lovely to look at) is such a cosy area to relax with a good movie. The window table looks out onto a scene of greenery - very relaxing. The bedroom heats up fast with the air con and the bed is divinely comfortable. We loved the split level, walking down a few steps to the kitchen area (bar fridge, microwave & sink area) and along to the living space. The well appointed bathroom is charming with a stained glass feature. The whole property is very tastefully and practically designed to create a perfect relaxing weekend or short stay away. A complimentary bottle of wine and block of chocolate was a lovely touch. We had a lovely meal at the Stirling pub and enjoyed the coffee shops as well as taking in the Stirling markets on Sunday (every 4th Sunday of the month). We would come back without a second thought!
