Fleetwood Cottage Studio is so close to Adelaide and yet so far from civilisation. Perfect place to chill and relax after a day in the Hills.

Home away from home

Our host was very helpful and made our stay special with little details such as leaving the heater on for us, lighting a candle and a lovely selection for breakfast. The decor is beautifully presented and everything is spotlessly clean. A wonderful place for a peaceful getaway.

Peaceful seclusion

Every aspect of this stay was peaceful, homely, and unique, from the soft interiors to the lush outdoors. Though not far from the city, it felt like we were in some faraway European cottage. The friendliness of Winnie the dog perfectly reflects the welcoming energy of the place :)

Perfect position to explore the Adelaide Hills

The cottage suite is charming. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed late afternoons and evenings reading in the garden and planning our next foray into the Adelaide Hills. So quiet and relaxing, a great foil for the busy, vibrant cafes, restaurants and galleries throughout the area. Celine was a dream host. Generous breakfast supplies, chocolates on arrival and a bottle of local wine. Celine was on call should we need anything and provided some wonderful recommendations for local restaurants.

Fleetwood Cottage Suite is a beautiful getaway in the gorgeous Adelaide Hills. The suite is private, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast provisions are plentiful and delicious. Celine is the perfect host - friendly, respectful and responsive. I have no hesitation in recommending her lovely accommodation. P.S. And there’s Winnie the dog!

I booked this accomodation for my daughter and husband as a special birthday treat.my daughter did not want me to reply to any reviews because overall they were reasonably happy with stay.however i was quite dissapointed that it was not what i thought it was.blame that on my age/experience in booking such places.if i had known it was a room attached to a home i would never had choose it.also i think its a little uncomfortable that the host popped in to introduce herself.my daughter wanted a getaway and some privacy.they both said it was nice and do not know im writing this review i had ignored the first write a review but hav decided to do this one.i think for the money and the fact that two nights had to be booked was a bit much for one basic room.

We stayed in Fleetwood in October, and had an amazing time! Celine our host was absolutely lovely; she and Winnie (her furbaby border collie) made our stay very pleasant. First of all, the cottage - it has such a good vibe! It was cosy, very comfortable and a perfect spot to either spring from for a day of activities, or to stay for the day and chill. We had a little fire in the garden and read books for the afternoon - oh, the luxury. It is THE perfect spot to do that. The two really important things when staying somewhere - a comfy bed and a good shower - were 110%. The gardens were really beautiful. It was October, therefore had the first flush of spring blossoms and the cooler weather, but the locale of the cottage itself regardless of the time of year is within an established garden and in the country. It's just magnificent. Fleetwood is located only a short drive from Hahndorf (about 10 minutes away), and is nestled in rolling hills and pretty countryside, so has the best of both worlds. With Hahndorf being so close, it means wineries, distilleries, quaint shops and great restaurants are all within a short drive. And lastly, if you're a dog person, Winnie is such a sweetheart, we asked for her to be around for pats and cuddles, which Celine graciously allowed. :) She was the biggest highlight for us! Many thanks, Celine and Winnie, we had a wonderful stay and will be back!

Hills haven, bliss personified

Weary from the week that was, we approached a haven of serene as we parked outside the white gates. Fleetwood Cottage Suite awaited us with fresh jonquils, chocolates, a wonderful chilled bottle of Sidewood Sparkling and lights and heater were on to welcome the wayward ( us) inside. Thanks, and heartfelt gratitude to you Celine. We chilled to the max! Abundant provisions for an ample breakfast were enjoyed the next day. The bacon was exquisite! Didn't want to leave, but next week of work is beckoning! Would love to see nature at her best here, again in the spring .Thankyou!
