Great Cottage

The cottage was beautiful. Bedrooms were nice and large and the cottage had everything we needed. Loved spending time out in the outdoor seating area and the screened in sun room. Great proximity to clubhouse/pool and the lake. The hosts really made sure our stay was great. Thanks!

Beautiful Property!

Our group of three couples absolutely loved staying at Russell's cottage. Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to fully enjoy all of the amenities (beach, pool etc.), but the extensive outdoor space and cathedral-ceilinged great room were perfect for full evenings of conversation with old friends. We'll definitely come again.

Just what we were hoping for!

We had a fantastic three-day stay in this pristine and comfortable house, enjoying wine tastings at nearby Burrowing Owl and La Stella and the fantastic water sports (seadoos and a pontoon boat) at Wake Pilot. The home was clean and comfortable - couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

Beautiful home in a great location

The cottage was spacious, well appointed, well maintained and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall, we enjoyed all of the comforts of home. The owner was very responsive to our communication. We plan to return.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was beautiful and comfortable with all the necessities and extras too. We loved the window seats and the wide open entertaining spaces. Everything was clean and in good working order. Beach is a little far for elderly or mobility challenged people but otherwise, great location. The hosts made themselves available but we didn’t find it necessary to contact them for anything during our stay. Everything was in order and the stay went smoothly. Really enjoyed our vacation here.

We just got back from our stay at this house and wow, we were blown away how clean and well appointed the house was. We could not have asked for better. We felt right at home. A great experience

We had a great time at Russell and Lorraine's cottage in The Cottages on Lake Osoyoos. The cottage is very comfortable and has every amenity you need for a short or long stay. The screened and glassed porch was wonderful, since the sun warmed it most days. Russell was great to deal with, and very quick to respond to questions. All in all, a great vacation, and we will definitely return!!

Fantastic Stay

My family had a great stay at this well equipped and homey “cottage”. Presents as pictured, but main floor is even more impressive when you walk in because of an extremely high vaulted ceiling. On site was a nice pool area and beach - overall a very charming complex that was family friendly and close to Osoyoos and many wineries. My girls (10 and 12) asked to come back before we had left, and we have booked a week for next summer. As others have mentioned, the owner Russel is responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for a nice visit.

Perfect home away from home

We just returned from the most delightful stay at this cottage. Everything was top notch. Very clean, beautifully decorated, everything that we needed plus more. Russell was great to deal with. We had no issues at all. The gated community itself was very nice, quiet and safe and was wonderful for walking outside enjoying the fresh air. Would definitely recommend.

Great Place to Stay in Osoyoos

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Russel's property in Osoyoos. Comfortable beds and lots of beddings and towels. Short walk to the playground, pool and beach. Could have stayed much longer! Everything was as described in the listing and the additional space in the garage was much appreciated. Thanks for a great vacay!

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. It is a bit of a walk to the pool and beach but we solved the problem by renting a golf cart.

Country living!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was very well stocked, modern, conveniently set up and comfortable. I would like to see clear directions in the unit how to use the TV and audio system. We found the unit was not as clean as it initially appeared. Little things such as food under the couch cushions, fingerprints on the glass doors and dust bunnies under the beds were annoying when there is a $400.00 cleaning fee above the damage deposit and above the cost of the unit. This may be a Canada Stays policy but since you are required to leave the unit neat and clean as are most rentals, we felt this charge was excessive. This charge is noted on registration and probably reflects today’s attitude of whatever the market can bear.
