No short term rental restrictions here in Oliver Cottages on Osoyoos Lake
Our lake view home is a short four and half hour drive from Vancouver. We are in the heart of wine country but honestly there’s so much to see and do, you’ll have to stay a week longer. 

The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake Resort is quiet and well maintained. The amenities include two outdoor pools, two hot tubs at the club house. A fitness studio is also available for your use if you don’t get enough exercise swimming, walking and biking and hiking. 

Enjoy, the stunning lake views from most rooms in this 4 bedroom 4 bathroom home. This home is fully furnished and can accommodate up to 12 in a family. We have two fully equipped kitchens, two full sized laundry rooms Two sleeper sofas in each living room, brand new tv’s in every bedroom and living room the home is two separate suites perfect for two families and there are beach toys including kayak for water fun, fido is also welcome to enjoy the space

We have an electric golf cart for use with anyone with a drivers license

Boat slip available for a additional (may through Sept) please book in advance

Driving up in your electric car? We have you covered, with a Tesla charger in the garage so you can charge for free with your stay.

We have full size bathrooms and full sized bedrooms each master suite has a king size bed

Each second bedroom has a queen size bed

The home was built in 2013 and has been recently updated with new bedding, appliances, linens and much more

The view was fantastic from the nice patio. The place was very clean. We were 4 couples who rented the house for the long weekend, stayed for 4 nights. Lots of space for everyone, but chairs, furniture and beds could have been more comfortable. Most of us felt like the overall temperature inside the house was too warm 23 degrees, especially at night. In communication with the host, he told us there's no way to lower it as it's a geothermal cooling system. We also were not allowed to open ANY windows or doors because the system would fail. Despite the ceiling fans in every bedroom, every one of us felt way too hot during the night. Also, what didn't help with this was the polyester sheets. We would suggest cotton or some other kind of breathable fabric to help with this. The other thing we were not made aware of as part of our responsibility until we received our check-in instructions was we were expected to wash all the towels the night before we checked out, to strip the beds and put them in the washer the morning of. This was a very unusual request to us all as many of us have stayed in many VRBO's and never once have we been asked to do something like this especially if some people like to shower in the mornings. I understand leaving the house in good condition and cleaning up after yourself, turning the dishwasher on before you leave, seems reasonable, but getting the laundry started so that it saves the cleaning people time felt a bit much.

Great property

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It comfortably accommodated all 9 of us, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The full suite downstairs was a great bonus, giving us the separation and privacy we appreciated. Beautiful setting and well-equipped home — highly recommended!

A great week

This was a great choice for our family getaway in Osoyoos area. The Cottages resort is a beautiful, well-maintained and beautifully landscaped property. The location, in between Osoyoos and Oliver and close to great wineries and restaurants, is perfect. The beach and lake are ideal, and there is so much for families with the pool, recreation centre and the playgrounds that are situated throughout the property. Darren and Natalie’s cottage is in a quiet location. We loved our morning coffee and family BBQ dinners on the large deck, which has a spectacular view of the lake, vineyards and the valley. The cottage itself is very roomy, with lots of options for sleeping. Beds are super comfortable. We had everything we needed inside the cottage as well as plentiful beach umbrellas, chairs and toys. The owners were very responsive.

Great family vacation

My family and I (8 adults and 6 small children) stayed here and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and well kept and very spacious. Everything is well stocked, from towels to beach gear and everything in between. Short walk to the beach and clubhouse makes this cottage the perfect spot.Would love to visit again!

Family Stay at the Cottages

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at the Krop cottage. It was a perfect property for our family and our one dog. The lake view from the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked well with kitchen appliances, cutlery, including kid’s plates and utensils. Communication with Darren was smooth and simple. We loved how short of a walk it was to the beach. It’s an ideal location if you’re looking place that has a great view and is walkable to the beach. There was no shortage of beach towels and toys for adults and kids. We look forward to our next stay at the Krop Cottage.

Family Vacation Osoyoos

The villa was well supplied with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, glasses, and beach and bath towels, there was enough of everything for a large group. It was nice to find the The pantry stocked with basic items - salt, pepper, spices, condiments, etc. Ample supply of coffee filters, dishwasher pods, Laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The property was as described, amazing view from the deck, easy walking distance to the beach and lake. The complex itself is well maintained and perfect for early morning or late evening walks.

The home is just as shown, Gorgeous! They really have everything there, towels, chairs & umbrellas for the beach. Our granddaughter loved the Disney theme and the bunkbeds. Beautiful home and place to stay! Tons of space for us 4 adults and 2 kids.

High Quality Family Accommodation.

We stayed here for a family get together/reunion for 7 adults. We found the 4 bedrooms to be spacious and the 4 full bathrooms was appreciated. The furnishings and beds are all high quality and very comfortable. The house is well stocked with all essentials and then some. Even stuff for the beach! The golf cart for rent was appreciated for my Dad, who finds walking difficult. That being said, the beach and pool area are only about 4 or 5 minutes walk from the house. The lake view was exceptional and we really enjoyed both mornings and evenings on the patio with chairs for all. The communication with the host/owner Darren was easy and timely. - Thanks again Darren.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage in this beautifully landscaped community, the view is beautiful, the decor restful and calming. Four beds and baths were perfect for our family gathering. Owner communicates very promptly, and assisted to quickly answer questions and resolve any issues we encountered. We hope to return soon!

Great Stay in Great Accommodation

We were three senior couples staying at this VRBO. The house was relatively new, could accommodate 10 people easily. Communications with VRBO and Darren were easy and access was simple. Clean linens, well stocked kitchen equipment and necessary supplies were readily found. The view was great and location was quiet. We would stay again and will recommend it to friends.

Beautiful cottage with lake view

The home was cozy and had all the essentials for a getaway with friends. It has amazing views of the lake and a large patio to enjoy the sun for morning coffee or star gaze at night. Darren the host was very easy to communicate with and was patient to answer all questions once checked into the home. The location is close to wineries, golf courses and restaurants and in a gated community of lakeside cottages.
