Situé dans une communauté fermée à quelques minutes de Dodge Ridge et Pinecreast Lake

Cabine très familiale dans une communauté fermée sécurisée près de Long Barn qui a été presque entièrement rénovée. Cette cabine de 1534 pieds carrés dispose de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. Il y a suffisamment de lits pour 12 personnes. Le loft a un lit queen, la grande chambre du milieu a 2 lits queen et la chambre inférieure a 1 lit queen et 1 ensemble de lits superposés. Également en bas des escaliers, il y a un futon en taille réelle et un autre lit double dans une petite pièce. La cabine dispose d'un espace ampoule pour le stationnement.

Tout cela se déroule dans une communauté fermée et sécurisée au milieu des bois. Il y a un petit lac privé pour les plaisirs d'été, un terrain de basket, un terrain de balle et une grande aire de jeux. L'hiver permettra à la famille de jouer dans la neige et de ne pas être dans l'atmosphère très fréquentée et dangereuse de l'autoroute 108. Une piste de luge privée est également à votre disposition. Idéal pour une journée amusante remplie de neige!

The location is great, very quiet, beautiful trees and about 30 min to the snow park. The hosts are also very communicative and easy to get a hold of.

Great Location

The location was great and gated community provided the perfect private sledding and snow play area for the kids. The owners were very reachable throughout the process to answer any questions and provide helpful information.

Lovely cabin getaway in the mountains

Charming log cabin near fishing reservoir, swimming and hiking. Delightful and informative owners whom keep their residence very clean and well decorated. This was just the getaway our family needed to escape daily hustle bustle and spend quality time together. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy Cabin

This log wood cabin is very cozy with a lovely rustic mountain vibe. It took us about 30 minutes to get to Dodge Ridge ski resort which is a nice family ski resort. The owners did a great job of communicating and making sure we had what we needed.

Quick Family Getaway for 2023

Property and community were amazing. Perfect location for local activities including skiing, ice skating, and snow play in the winter. Property he all the needed items for a winter cabin. I was impressed with the additional amenities that generally are not available for a vacation rental.

The cabin was cozy and nice. The location was great including the meadow, hills, and scenery. We really appreciated the wine and dessert! Thanks. My only suggestion is to fix the stairs so they are not so steep. You could also take the carpet off and put non stick tape on it. Overall, we had a great time!

Amazing winter cabin getaway

Location location location!!!! This cabin is nothing short of amazing! My kids absolutely loved being able to rent this cabin again for our winter trip a second time.The toboggan hill is just right out the back a short walk through the beautiful trees. Cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived. A special treat and wine was waiting for us on the counter. Dennis and Mrs B is very informative and very helpful. Shorty after we arrived we received a call making sure all was well and asked if anything was needed. This is definitely the place to stay at in this area! Thank you so much Dennis and MRS B for not only your amazing hospitality but also opening your place of peace and serenity for us to enjoy!

Everything is nice except for the stair to basement

1) nice house 2) nice and very helpful contacted people 3) good cake from the owners. but the stair to the basement with carpet cover was so easy to fall, and my husband fell, especially the 6th/7th step from bottom up. The stair should not be covered by carpet because the worn carpet is so slippery , steps are narrow, and stair high and stiff.

Incredible location! Beautiful home! Great hosts!

This was such a wonderful stay! The overall experience was incredibly easy because the hosts have excellent and detailed communication. They are kind and sweet! The house was clean and spacious. We took our 18 month old twins and 4 year old son. It was an absolute blast! The house is in an excellent location. We were able to walk outside and ride our sleds down the hill. We never had to leave the entire trip for a snow park because it was perfect for the family. My only important note is the stairs. The hosts do provide a baby gate for one set of the stairs which was incredibly helpful! We had to blockade the other stairs to prevent our adventurous toddlers from attempting those cabin stairs on their own. It would have been easier if we brought them some more toys to distract them from wanting to climb the stairs. Other than that, it is a wonderful house to make memories in and the hosts are one of a kind!

All around AMAZING! Felt at home and definitely felt the love poured into this cabin!

Wow is all I can say! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!! This Cabin was perfect and stocked with everything you could ever need. The owners left a bottle of wine and cake on the counter when we arrived,it was so thoughtful and such a nice surprise. I will definitely come back and book at this cabin for our next getaway! Thank you so very much Dennis and MRS. B! You have a beautiful place! Our kiddos enjoyed the Tobaggan hill and so did I after a glass or 2 of wine🤣🥳.Thank you for such a great stay and such a clean cabin!

Weekend Away

We loved our stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we found the owners had left fresh apple cake and wine to welcome us. The location is perfect for daytime outings or quiet time enjoying the outside deck. The one thing to keep in mind are the stairs are very steep leading to the lower level. If you have very small children a baby gate would be helpful. We’d stay here again and again.

Love the location so much we are looking for our own cabin!

This is THE PERFECT LOCATION for a Sierra vacation. The Odd Fellow community has its own private lake, playground, basketball court, horseshoes, and trails right out the back door of this cabin. Location, location, location, as they say! The cabin DOES have stairs more equivalent to a ladder, as previous people have posted. This is not the right property for those with mobility constraints. We had my kids walk around the side of the building to the back door instead of using the stairs whenever possible as a workaround. Also, this is truly a CABIN. I think if you have the right mindset you will be happy with what you get. If you are looking for a modern chalet that they call a cabin to be cute, this is not that. It has its 1950's charm with some upgrades, but overall it is still a 50s cabin. My kids loved it and the dvds downstairs were perfect for when I was cooking. There is NO WIFI AND NO CELL SERVICE so appreciate the landline for emergencies. Kitchen had everything we needed, heat worked well, the neighborhood had a small power outage and the generator instructions were flawless. Hosts were VERY sweet and responsive, we were always able to get ahold of them. Thank you for sharing your special place with us!

This is not a cabin for the elderly or disabled.

The owners were very friendly and overall the cabin would've been great for a group of college kids. Not the right fit for an 11 year old in a wheelchair and his 63 year old mom. Every time my grandkids used the stairs to the lower level I panicked! Very steep and not very safe.

Girls weekend!

We had a terrific time. 7 girls, 40 -50, having a great time sledding, eating lots od good food, games, good conversations, laughing hard, and having a few drinks. Definitely coming back. Cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway, no matter how many!

We are both born and raised in central California and have stayed in the area of our cabin many times. So we finally decided to purchase a place of our own and to give travelers a great place to stay in the Long Barn area. The cabin is set in a beautifully are in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
