The cabin was as advertised, clean, quiet and close to all the things you want to do. Literally minutes from the general store, Mia's restaurant, there is even a farm stand right on the same street. 10min from Pinecrest lake, perfect for a summer weekend getaway!

The cabin was a great place to stay. The large deck was so nice and perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. The cabin had everything needed to cook all meals. It was also very conveniently close to the lake which we very much enjoyed.

Darlene and her team are world-class hosts! After some heavy winter weather impacted our first trip, the crew not only spent hours helping us get our car out of the snow, Darlene was incredibly flexible with rescheduling. It was the perfect home base for our ski trip to Dodge Lodge.The cabin itself quiet, serene and cozy. We especially loved warming up by the fireplace after a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be back!"

Cold Springs Cabin

Enjoyed our stay. Wished beds were more comfortable but overall family had a good time. Close to Pinecrest lake and was easy to find.

Great getaway

We had a great stay. The place was charming and comfortable, easy to find and close to one of the few stores in the area. Great communication from host. Would definitely stay again.

Great spot if you are going to spend time at Pinecrest Lake!

We stayed here over Labor Day Weekend with 5 adults and 1 baby. The size was perfect and the home had everything we needed to cook meals. It was easy to find and a short drive to the lake. Would absolutely stay here again!

Unfortunately our stay was extremely horrible. I was in direct contact with Darlene, the host, and many customer representatives from Verbo trying to get a refund for our stay because the rental did not look like it was cleaned before our arrival. We found spiders and bugs on the beds, dirty dishes, old towels that felt rusty, spiderwebs everywhere, and the place was just unsuitable for us to stay there. Verbo representatives and Darlene kept putting blame on one another as to who had authority to give us back a refund. They both refused to give us a refund. Please be aware of booking through Verbo or with Darlene, because they paint a pretty picture of rental properties and the rentals don't hold up to the promises they make. Darlene seemed so nice and understanding at the beginning, but once it came to taking responsibility for the dirty rental, she put blame on a power outage, and assured that the rental was clean a night prior to our arrival. I have pictures and videos of the place and this place did not look like it was cleaned the night prior. We are very disappointed with Verbo and Darlene the host for giving us false information and will be seeking legal advice to hold both of them accountable. I feel the obligation to let others know about my experience to help prevent this from happening to other families. Unfortunately, I can't upload videos but I'll upload some pics if i can. Needless to say, we will never book with Darlene or Verbo again.

I'm sorry you feel that way. It's a lovely cabin, has great reviews and return guests for years. We work very hard to give our guests a great stay. Vrbo works very hard to make sure guests are happy. I'm sorry you didn't stay at the cabin, we tried to assist you with re-starting dishwasher after pge pole work caused an outage. I'm glad I was nice and did everything I could. The forest is a wonderful place. We do give guests information about everything we do within industry safe standards to prevent pests and wildlife in the forest. We offered to get the spider for you at 10pm, or move you to another cabin, gave you a free night, early checkin the night before and tried to make sure you were settled but you left. It's a great cabin, clean, cozy and comfortable as shown in the reviews prior to and after your dates. The cabin is as described and pictured in the listing. Thank you, Darlene VRBO Host since 1996.

The cabin is in an excellent location for getting to Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort. It was very clean and the fast and detailed communication with the property manager was appreciated!

Amazing Cabin!!!

The cabin was just as advertised. It was clean and very cozy, packed with lots of DVDs which we watched all day when we got snowed in 😊. A splendid location - short drive to Leland Snow Play and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort.

Perfect for my family of 4. Have been going to PineCrest for years. Great location, very well updated. Fans came in handy on the hot nights. Would go again to this cabin.

Ski Cabin

Location is great for skiing. Roads and driveway were plowed prior to arrival. Check-in was a breeze. Private bedrooms and open living space is a nice layout. Cabin met all our needs. Hope to return.

Cozy Getaway

The cabin was ideally located near the Dodge Ridge ski area, and we enjoyed being just a short drive away. After a long day of skiing, it was great to come back to a warm comfortable cabin. It had everything we needed to cook some yummy dinners. I appreciated the road and driveway were plowed, which made it easy for getting in and out.

Life is better at the Cabin

Great rental!

Great cozy rental! Enjoyed our stay. No washer and dryer. We did notice a few aunts on the check out morning.. other than that very clean, nice and cozy!

Great snowy weekend

Highly recommend this property

We stayed here for 3 nights during thanksgiving. The kitchen had everything we needed. Property manager was very responsive. The cabin was very modern and well decorated. We brought several DVDs, but there were plenty there for us to watch. There was a little bit of snow and it was easy for us to play right outside the cabin. We would stay here again!

Overall, we had a blast and loved the snow on Christmas Day. Nitpicking, I will say the wifi was spotty so karaoke was limited. Warm but fireplace hard to use because the dial was not precise. Oven smaller than standard so pan to bake gingerbread house didn’t fit. Listing mentions bringing laundry detergent but there isn’t a washing machine so that was confusing.

We let guests know that in winter, cell, internet services can be spotty in bad weather, it's the mountains. We also let guests know that there are local laundry mats (when the cabin is advertised without washer/dryer) but you bring detergent (small village communities). It was a pleasure to serve you.
