Unité de la famille du gîte de pur-sang Thoroughbred Creek

Cette magnifiquement rénové caractéristiques des bâtiments de ferme de la fédération 2 unités autonomes, chacune avec bains haut dossier de griffe de pied, aménagement de style colonial, salon et salle à manger.

La cellule familiale peut accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes - lit maître de reine de chambre à coucher, chambre d'enfant - 4 lits simples, et un salon - lit double. Unité dispose également d'une cuisine et salle de bains.

La famille commence à 155 $ par nuit.

Si vous avez des exigences particulières, s'il vous plaît appelez-nous pour discuter de vos besoins.

La maison est entourée de 55 acres, vous pouvez aller randonnée dans le bush ou simplement vous détendre sur la véranda donnant sur la propriété. La piscine de 15 mètres est très accueillant.

Nous sommes idéalement situés à proximité des caves de la région et de nombreuses galeries d'art et de l'artisanat de la région Tamborine / Canungra. Vous pouvez aimer tout simplement flâner dans le canton Canungra, ou aller pour une excursion d'une journée à O'Reillys et à faire l'arbre de marche.

Les propriétaires de la propriété vivent sur place.

Il y a beaucoup à faire autour de la vallée de Canungra et la Gold Coast est à seulement 40 minutes

Equitation peut être réservé pour vous avec le parc Thunderbird ou Gumnuts équitation complexes - les deux sont à seulement 10 minutes de notre propriété.

Si vous êtes un démarreur précoce, vous pouvez aller à la piste avec Steve et regarder les chevaux passent par leurs pas - mais vous devez être en place à 4 a. m.

Magpie Creek Farmstay est la maison de chevaux de course et à venir, ainsi que les jeunes poulains qui apprennent le jeu. Formé par propriétaire Steve Field ces chevaux apprennent à aller la distance

Les clients sont également invités à venir nourrir les chevaux tôt le matin et de nouveau à environ 4p. m. dans l'après-midi, les enfants aiment faire cela, le remplissage des seaux d'alimentation, l'apprentissage sur les chevaux et jeter le foin.

L'heure du repas à la ferme

Il y a des poulets pour nourrir - oeufs pour collecter et si vous êtes vraiment énergique, vous êtes les bienvenus pour aider à nourrir les 26 chevaux le matin et l'après-midi.

Cela peut être beaucoup de plaisir pour toute la famille.

Alors que vous marchez à travers les paddocks alimentant les chevaux, vous verrez beaucoup de canards et d'oiseaux qui viennent tous pour manger avec les chevaux.

Pour les clients qui veulent simplement se détendre, vous pourrez profiter assis sur le pont, lire un livre, regarder les enfants nager dans la piscine.

Et si vous voulez un peu d'exercice, une promenade vers le haut de la colline et de nouveau vers le bas prend environ 20 minutes et est idéal pour revenir à la nature.

A beautiful farm stay

We had a wonderful stay! The kids loved helping with the horses and chickens. There is so much to do on this beautiful property and plenty of space for everyone in the house. We would love to come and stay again, hopefully for longer next time!

Farm Stay Love!

Steve and Jenny were fantastic hosts. The kids loved all the animals, helping feed the horses and collecting sticks from around the farm to use in the outdoor chimnea fire pit for toasting marshmallows! With all the activities at Tambourine Mountain just a short drive away, this was a perfect place to come back and relax.

We did not regret our stay at all. Really love the premise, the hosts and they were so hospital and really shared their life experiences in farming with us and our little ones. We learnt so much and thank you for going out of the way to coach our little ones and giving them the working farm experiences. Hope to come back again!!

We enjoyed our time at this property. The kids loved the farm and being around all the animals. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The property was comfortable but lacking some basic amenities. There are little to no cooking facilities- only a bbq, microwave and electric frypan. Dinner was difficult to cook. There is no shower, only a bath. The bedding was not really warm enough considering the cold nights. But we still enjoyed the couple of days we had there.

Not quite what we expected

The property was generally very tidy, clean linen. We expected the accommodation to be more stand alone but was part of a larger house that had been divided into 3 units. With the Family Unit in the corner between two others, we were able to hear conversations, a very yappy small dog and smell food cooking, and the toilet flush on the other side of the wall. The water pump from the tank was right outside our room so any water requirements of the property caused the electric pump to go on and off throughout the night. The bathroom had only a bath with hand held shower head which is difficult if you have any mobility issues.

Relaxee and recharged

Our families had a wonderful time relaxing at Jenny and Steve's farm. The kids loved swimming and feeding the horses, and we were close to some amazing day trip locations. Jenny and Steve are the best hosts as well, couldn't find a nicer couple

Farm stay with horses

We had a fabulous time. The children (6 + 8) helped feed the chickens, let them out and put them to bed every day as well as collect the eggs. We all helped feed and look after the horses, which was a wonderful and educational experience. Our hosts were so welcoming and we all loved it. Planning to return later this year.

A place to stay

We stayed for two nights and Jenny the host is lovely. However, there is no shower hook for the shower hose in the bath room and it is within a claw foot bath tub which is difficult to get in and out of. There is also no shower screen so that made showering very difficult for all of us. We understand the property is on tank water and didn’t want to fill up the bath. There was no oven, but there was a microwave that was quite small and couldn’t really fit anything to cook a meal for a family. There was no outdoor seating except for two chairs around the pool and these were quite uncomfortable. Another seating area outside would’ve been really nice with cushion and chairs preferably. We stayed in the family unit and the gap between the wardrobe and the bed was so tight that I could barely get in and out. This is a beautiful old Homestead, but it needs some TLC, some cleaning, some more appliances, and perhaps a little bit more comfort. The host was very welcoming and we were so happy to be able to bring our dog with us. We paid $40+ to have our dogs day, but there was no bed provided and really only a single dog bowl. Thankfully we brought our own portable bowls and his bed from home. There is a beautiful outlook from the balcony, however the couches were very dirty and the furniture are very dated and uncomfortable. It was lovely seeing the free range chickens and also being able to see the horses walking around. and electric gate at the front of the property would be really helpful and prevent us having to get in an out of the car every time we’re going and coming and also some other creature comforts along the way. All in all it was just a place to stay for us whilst we were visiting family, but it was not comfortable enough or close enough to various places in order to really relax and enjoy your stay. I would recommend it for people who are just on the go and need somewhere to stay overnight however, I can’t imagine having stayed any longer than the two nights that we spent there as none of us really got much sleep and were constantly finding it hard to get comfortable in the chairs provided. I travelled with my husband and two teenage children and this was sadly the experience of all of us. Having said all of that however, the price was good and we were happy with our stay in general.

Dad and 4 little chicks getaway

Stayed for 3 nights with my 4 daughters ranging in age from 5-10yo. We felt welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Our hosts Jenny and Steve, were super accommodating, taking the girls and I along to collect eggs, play with the dogs and feed the horses, whilst answering countless (at times repetitive) questions along the way without missing a beat! On top of that, the general area provided plenty of “outdoorsy” activities for us all to enjoy, within 10-15min from our accommodation. I have been endlessly quizzed since leaving, as to when we will going back again!

A lovely stay

Our group of friends and family loved staying here. There was plenty to keep the kids entertained including horses, chickens and the informative and friendly hosts, Jenny and Steve, and also a pool! The place is cosy and charming. We loved how it is decorated with the history of the owner's various race horses. It was a short drive to local attractions, perfect for our needs.
