Amazing, peaceful and private getaway! Mark was an amazing host who gave lots of tips and advice of things to explore in the area. Loved sitting on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view and watching the wildlife. Highly recommend and will be back!

A fabulous cabin with an even more fabulous view!

I will be staying here again… the location is perfect and waking up to that view, the sunrising, birds singing and cows mooing is priceless!

Amazing property

We really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities within the cabin was amazing, there was wifi, smart TV and a hot tub. The view from the cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The owners gave us all the privacy needed for a perfect getaway!

Dear Tony, Thank you for commenting on the privacy, as we are often asked about it. We are on a larger property than most in this area (10 acres). This means the Luxury cabins are the best part of half a kilometer from our house. So you still have the security on live in owners, who can help with lots of local knowledge, without any privacy issues. Thank you so much for writing a review. Perfect couples getaway

most beautiful views! thoroughly enjoyed the spa bath looking out on to the deck and costal views. Super close to the prom and a Yanakie general store. Loved every moment - will be returning!

Other hosts should be very comfortable to accept these guests into their properties. Coastal View Cabins is a nature based spa cabin business and the guests were quiet and respectful of other’s desire for privacy and to enjoy the peacefulness of this area. On the day of their departure they left on time and left the cabin in a tidy state. I am happy with them. Relaxing and quiet getaway

It was wonderful to go to bed with stars and possums and absolute silence with none of the light pollution of a city or even small town and to get up every morning with the sun over a foggy field full of roos. Great place,

I am pleased you spotted the kangaroos. They are almost always there (sun rise/set), but it is surprising how many don't notice them. There are often emu down there as well. Wombats and a very shy black swamp wallaby feed nightly around the cabin, but you need to be quiet to spot them, they disappear like in a magic show otherwise.. :-)

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Mark was an excellent host and provided a wealth of helpful information before we arrived, which made planning our visit to the national park so much easier. The cabin itself was very private and peaceful, and we really appreciated the well-equipped kitchen for preparing our meals. A real highlight was spotting wildlife right outside—deer, echidna, fox, rabbits, and wallabies! On top of that, the view was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for such a detailed review! I protect 3 acres of remanent forest here; part of a native corridor to/from the Prom. So the native animals are here. For you to see so many, I am guessing that you kept the noise low, and let them feel comfortable to come out. I am pleased that you mentioned seeing the echidna. Perfect Retreat in Nature's Embrace

"We had an amazing time at this cabin! The location was serene and peaceful, The cabin itself was cozy yet spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed.we enjoyed mornings on the deck watching the sunrise. The host was very responsive and accommodating, making sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature!"

Absolutely gorgeous. Breathtaking view from the cabin. We were so lucky to see so many native birds from our deck- Eagles, fairy wrens, a pair of tiny eastern spinebills, a flock of firetail finches. The property is tranquil and serene. Mark was a fantastic host. We can’t wait to come back.

If you do stay with Coastal View Cabins again please remind me of your interest in the local birds, and I will send you a copy of my Info Email on spotting the local birds. There are a lot to see; 182 confirmed native bird species and 7 introduced species. As a point of interest Victoria has 450 species of bird, so almost half or 42% of Victorian species are found here!

This is the perfect spot, room with a view right in the doorstep of Wilson’s Prom. Most interesting shower I’ve ever had!
