Property was great, location is the best. We enjoyed our stay very much. Rialto is a great place to be for restaurants and shops. Apartment is on a nice quiet Calle. Thomas was very helpful with all of the logistics.
very comfortable apartment with everything we needed. thereâs a small grocery store just steps from the building for food basics. the host was quickly responsive to our questions. my sons and i had a great visit!
My family of 5, the youngest 20 yrs old, stayed for 3 nights at this property. It was perfect for us. Very well situated within a one minute walk to the fish market and 3 minutes to Rialto bridge. I highly recommend this home for up to 5 adults.
This eclectic and comfortable apartment in the San Polo district was an absolute gem. Just a short walk from Mercato Fish Market, Rialto Bridge, St Paul's Basilica, Doge's Palace and surrounded by great restaurants and shops, the location couldn't be better! The communication from the support staff was excellentâthey even helped coordinate seamless water taxi transfers from Santa Lucia station and to Marco Polo Airport. We also appreciated the sundries left in the pantry by previous guests :). A perfect Venice experience!
Excellent communication before and during the trip. This listing was in a great location in Venice and was very clean. Just a note that the property wasnât stocked with any toilet paper or hand soap in one of the bathrooms and we ended up having to buy our own, as there werenât any extra supplies at the property.
The property is awesome and based on it alone I would give five stars. My issue was on the front end dealing with credit card payments. We had a security issue while planning the trip with our card provider and when the final payment didnât go through our reservation was cancelled! I keep most notifications off, but VRBO didn't send a email letting us know. Thankfully no one snatched our dates before we discovered this as we would have been in deep you-know-what. Be careful if you carry a Citigroup credit card.
Conveniently located to Rialto Bridge. Quiet neighborhood. Found several nice restaurants within short walking distance. Apartment itself was more than than adequate for our family. Close to water transportation.
This was our first time in Venice. We loved our stay! 4 adults for comfortably and the check-in process was great. Close enough location to everything we wanted to see, but out of the hustle of the busiest parts of the city. Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for 5 nights and found the location perfect. It wasnât in the heavy tourist area, but near enough for a short 5-10 mins to all the places we wanted to see. I would recommend getting off at the Rialto Mercato stop when you arrive as it is the closest to the apt. The apt was great for our family, clean and a very comfortable for our stay.
The property was great and had plenty of space for my friend and I. It was clean and was in the perfect area to walk everywhere. The balcony was also one of our favorite parts.
Good communication and great location! Enjoyed a quick stay in Venice and was made easy with good directions on taking the waterbus to the apartment. Good roomy apartment, with all of the accessories needed for a great stay!
My family of five including three children (15, 13, and 11) had a great time in Venice staying in this apartment. Great location, easy to find and lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Queen bed is a bit firm.
We enjoyed the location. The apartment was nice and clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Only gave four stars because the air conditioners did not blow very cold and the shower water kept fluctuating from super hot to ice cold. Overall I would stay here again once you get used to the shower and had a dance in there.
Lovely, modern renovated home located within easy walk to the main areas of Venice. The pictures do not do it justice; the home actually looks better in person. It is located on the third floor so youâll have to carry your luggage up (no elevators). The Wifi does not reach the upstairs bedroom but that didnât bother us much. The shower knob to adjust the water temperature was a bit tricky, either really hot or really coldâŠyou have to keep playing with it to get the temperature just right. Regardless, we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. 5 out of 5 stars!
This apartment is in an excellent location and had a nice amount of space for our family of five. The kitchen does not come equipped with any dishes so you cannot plan to cook or eat at the apartment. The apartment has very unique finishings. Owner was easy to work with and responsive. Air conditioning worked well in high summer heat. Thank you!
Due to scheduling conflicts for my travelling companion, I ended up staying here alone, so I just used the primary bedroom and downstairs bathroom. The listing is in a convenient location a few minutes' walk from the Rialto Bridge, down a quiet alley. I really enjoyed having the balcony space and hearing the church bells from the neighboring church. It was very clean, and communication with the host was easy and efficient. I was surprised at the large living room space. You could comfortably have 5 people stay here without feeling crowded.
Be aware that the apartment is up two flights of stairs, but that seems normal for Venice. Guests are to take the trash and recycling out when they leave, and the host provides instructions for how to find the trash boats.
I felt that some more attention to detail could have made the stay more comfortable. There was no hand soap, so I used dish soap from the kitchen. The sofa and large bed were far too hard for my liking. I didn't try the twin beds.
Overall, I liked this apartment, would stay here again, and would recommend it to others.
Overall a nice stay in an excellent location. It was clean overall, but the decor was spartan and some of the walls were a bit worn and stained. Regarding location...near enough to everything, but keep in mind that it is an 18 minute walk to and from Piazzale Roma. This is no problem unless you have a lot of luggage. Upon arrival, the water taxi was easy and an amazing, short trip up the Grand Canal. We walked back and just had to take our time and it was fine... just be aware that there are many bridges, mostly without ramps.
More highs and lows: Highs, clean beds and decent air conditioning. Lows, a couple flights of stairs (we had a lot of luggage for a two week trip - this may be nothing for you)... and the biggest low for us was the water temperature inconsistency of the showers. Maybe this is normal for the area, but we did not like being alternately fried and frozen in the shower after a long day of walking in the heat and humidity outside. Again, overall still a great experience. Maybe you will do a better job figuring out the showers than we did.
we wish we had the chance to stay but we had to cancel at the last minute. thomas was more than understanding. we look forward to booking and hopefully actually staying here!
The location is great. Close to Rialto Bridge, but far enough away to be out of the crowds and noise. The space was great for our family of 5. Could have used a few dishes and some paper towels, but otherwise well equipped. Could not get hot water in upstairs shower, but not a big problem as downstairs shower was warm. Have had the same issue in other locations in Venice as well. The host gave good instructions, making it easy to find and access.
