Vous entrez dans Whispering Pines Retreat en empruntant une ruelle pittoresque entourée de pins et de noyers noirs. En vous promenant autour de l'étang, vous viendrez chez vous loin de chez vous. Le deuxième étage de plus de 1 350 pieds carrés vous accueille avec de nombreux conforts comme un lit queen-size, une table à manger, une cafetière automatique, un canapé confortable et une causeuse, une table de billard et bien plus encore. C'est votre propre chambre d'hôtes pour vous détendre et profiter. This is a beautiful peaceful wooded rural retreat. Very cozy & comfortable with pleasant clean decor & quality amenities. Enjoyed swimming in the fresh water pond & a walk on the property. Very well-equipped, easy to book & great communication with hosts. They provide everything for a relaxing stay in a lovely environment. Plan to return for sure!

We had such a wonderful stay at whispering pines this year! This is now our fourth year coming to whispering pines! Gail and Andy are wonderful hosts and are always there to help if we needed anything! The property is beautiful and the retreat is very relaxing. We look forward to coming back next summer!

Quiet, private retreat

Beautiful place to stay, you start to relax as soon as you turn into the driveway. The retreat is so quiet, and property is gorgeous. The hosts have thought of everything you need. There is a pond that you can swim in, or sit beside and relax. Lots of frogs to entertain the kids.Lots to do close by, kids loved the quarry in St.Mary's.

Absolute Oasis

We stayed at Whispering Pines while our son played in a little league baseball tournament in St. Marys. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hosts have thought of everything and communication with them was easy. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. If you're in the area I recommend this place above all others.

A forest bathing delight

We spent the weekend at Whispering Pines and are returning home feeling well rested. Gorgeous sunsets filtering though the trees, perfect nature walks, a cozy campfire, sitting by the pond, watching and listening to the bullfrogs while reading and chatting.... it was outdoor perfection.Indoors the place was immaculate and had everything we needed. We had an easy time cooking and BBQing. The beds were comfy, the shower pressure perfect, the pool table and Apple TV and comfy couches excellent for relaxing during a rain storm.Lovely place all around.

This was our second stay at Wispering Pines and we loved it as much as our first visit. The owners are incredibly warm and helpfull and the property is just amazing!It's like a beautiful park nestled in your own private forest. I know we will return again and again!

Perfect Rural Retreat

Beautiful property-a hidden gem 10 mins fr St.Marys. Decor is pleasing, comfy & reflects quality choices. Lovely swim pond with deck & gorgeous landscaping. Fully equipped fire-pit. Amazing Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines! This is our third year coming here and we will continue to come back! Each year, we have such a wonderful time, and there is so much to do on the property! There is an amazing trail on the property for those who love to walk trails, a pond to swim in, and an area to have a campfire! When entering the property, the amount of trees is unbelievable and breathtaking. The retreat is clean and spacious and has a wonderful view of the trees! It is such a peaceful and relaxing place to be. Gail and Andy are great to communicate with and are always available if you have any questions! Overall, we had a wonderful stay this year and can't wait to come back next summer!

Restful Whispering Pines

This is a wonderfully quiet and relaxing space to stay which is huge inside, air-conditioned, well equipped and a joy to holiday in. There is plenty of hot water for the excellent shower within the bathroom. We liked the open plan space which is a total change for us from separate rooms. The surrounding roads are very quiet and easy to drive if you are from overseas and normally drive on the other side of the road. This is not a party location, but a quiet place, surrounded by trees to be enjoyed for the solitude. There is a short walk to a deep pool for swimming or just relaxing on the decking to the side. Whilst located out in the countryside, good shops for food and mementoes are to be found 10-15 minutes away in St.Marys, the locally made chocolate is superb, and the riverside walk an excellent easy stroll. A visit to Niagara Falls is a must and has an excellent visitors centre. A holiday location which sets the benchmark!

Fabulous!

Whispering Pines Retreat is the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The retreat is clean, spacious, welcoming and quiet, The views of the pine woods are lovely. The kitchen and bathroom are thoughtfully and generously stocked. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed walking the path and discovering hidden picnic spots. Gail and Andy have created a wonderful retreat.

Thanksgiving get-away

We wanted to get away from the city for a few days and Whispering Pines was great! We were grateful that the drive was less demanding than a "cottage country" trip and having a big quiet living space - complete with a pool table - was excellent! The property is lovely and we went for walks, runs and even a few chilly dips! In general, Whispering Pines is clean, quiet and thoughtful! Thanks!

The Most Peaceful and Relaxing Vacation

Whispering Pines is a wonderful relaxing peaceful place to stay! The property is clean and reflects the listing pictures. It was so fun to swim in the pond and walk the trails on the property. I would absolutely recommend this property to everyone I know! I look forward to coming back next summer!

Whispering Pines Retreat is a Hidden Gem!

Whispering Pintes Retreat is our first experience with VRBO and would could not have asked for a better choice of location. Believe the pictures; the home looks exactly as shown and described! The loft was clean and well decorated. Part of the appeal why we booked was that they had many little extras that other places don't offer (linens, shampoo, paper towels!!!). Though it may not sound like much, it matters! Just a 10 minute drive brings you into a quaint town that has anything you may have forgotten. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. Most of our day time was spent by the private pond enjoying the quietness and nature. Swimming was fun as well as just sitting on the dock watching the sunrise, playing cards under the umbrella, or soaking in the rays serenaded by the frogs. Our hosts live very close by but we saw them only at check in (we got there early) and once more for a quick "howdy do!" while passing by. If we had any questions they were very quick to help within minutes via text. Seriously, if you have clicked on this property, book it! We plan on returning!

Very restful. The pond is lovely at every time of day. So much care in the details -- well-supplied kitchen and (bonus!) a pool table, ping pong table and a great BBQ. Great family holiday!

Beautiful Escape!

This was such a beautiful location! Quiet and serene yet close to the small town of St Mary’s. The grounds were pristine, Inside the loft was very clean and spacious and there was lots of fun, relaxing things to do. Would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone! Such a great spot!

The white pine, spruce, cedar and black walnut trees were planted over 30 years ago on this 27 acre property. Originally, these trees were planted to be harvested. We are thankful that never occurred, so that we were able to build our home, enjoy the serenity of the property every day and able to call this retreat ‘home’.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Whispering Pines Retreat can be found on a 27 acre bush lot, complete with fully grown white pine, spruce, cedar and black walnut trees. There are also oak, maple, cherry, elm and other tree species growing throughout the bush. In season, you can eat wild raspberries everywhere.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The 12 foot deep pond can be enjoyed by all. It is a clean fresh water pond. You can sit on the deck, on the bench beside the pond or lounge on the beach. Feel free to relish the pond surroundings and the path that leads to the pond. At night, listen to the sounds of a few of nature’s wonders…the harmonious sound of frogs and crickets singing and talking.
