Very clean well organized 2nd floor apartment. Lots of natural light and everything you'd need for a short stay! Will stay there again next time we are in Stratford.
Spotless unit. Comfortable beds. Good wifi and TV. Easy walk to most of the theaters and shops. If you plan to cook meals, the refrigerator is very small. Friendly, responsive hosts. Excellent value!
Pros-super clean, great communication, and nice touches-coffee beans , sugar, soaps, lots of kitchen linensCons-if you plan on cooking needs a few more essentials-larger pot, larger spoon.Loved the place would definitely stay there on our next visit!
The property was spacious for our family of three, with neutral and modern decor that created an airy, calming ambience. Beds were comfortable, and the neighbourhood was quiet. There was guest parking for 2 cars. We would happily stay again!
We had a wonderful stay at the square b & b. It met all of our needs. The train neaby wasn't bothersome at all. Very convenient to Stratford and very thoughtfully stocked amd furnished.
A cute, spotless, spacious 2 bedroom with considerate host! The location wasnât ideal - close to rail tracks. I would definitely consider it for a week or more visit with friends. 4 1/2 stars!
Lovely modern apartment with easy access to Downtown Stratford. Basic kitchen and enough room for 4 of us. Very spacious, would definitely return, if ever we are back in town for a tournament.
The house was bright with quiet floors and good soundproofing. It is near a railway line, but we were never bothered by the few trains that passed. Beds were comfortable, Kitchen was well set up. Owner was very helpful. Location is handy to downtown.
The house had everything we needef and the location was very convenient. Sreps from theater and downtown. Good value for money.
The closeness of the railroad tracks was a bit of a surprise, but trains never bothered us.
We enjoyed our stay.
We loved our stay at the Square B+B this past weekend. This easy to access, conveniently located property was bright, airy, and neat as a pin.
We enjoyed every aspect of the open concept space from the well appointed kitchenette + central dining area (we used for breakfast and crafts with our 5 yr old), to the foosball table, and cozy sitting area with Smart TV.
We appreciated the comfortable beds, linens, and full length mirrors in the bedrooms, as well as the rainwater shower + ample towels in the bathroom. As mentioned in other reviews, the close proximity to the train tracks didn't disturb us in the least.
Our thanks to Michele and Evie for a great experience!
We were quite pleased with the cleanliness and smart, comfortable furnishing of this apartment overall. Unfortunately, our timing was terrible as train tracks (VERY near the place) were being replaced (short notice to host who offered to cancel our booking if we desired--she was EXTREMELY apologetic) with work extending around the clock. So not a particularly quiet or restful stay, though NO fault of the hosts. Michele was responsive and helpful and we would consider staying there again on one of our return visits.
A very clean, light and airy, modern, minimalist unit with plenty of room for our family of four adults-the two twin beds aided sleeping arrangements enormously. Large shower, great views of passing trains, big screen TV, plenty of closet space. Secure entry. Some fun games available.
On the negative: not for anyone with stair climbing difficulties. The kitchen lacked shelving for groceries and counterspace for meal prep and only had a mini-fridge. The furniture (except for the beds) was generally uncomfortable. No control over the temperature, although the AC was working. No shelves or hooks for toiletries in the shower-things had to be laid on the floor. (Also the design caused you to have to be in the shower to turn it on-that first blast of cold water was alarming!) Overall, the rental provided everything promised and had good communication with the host.
Location is roughly a 10 minute walk from downtown which is easy. Toiletries are provided, which was a nice bonus. We stayed for week and there was no washer/dryer so the towels could have used replacing.Very few utensils, pots and pans etc. in the small kitchen area with no full-size stove or oven. part of the beauty of staying at a VRBO is the ability to make meals, so if you plan to do a lot of cooking it would be an issue. Many games were provided for quality family time. Owners were very responsive to any inquiries we made.
We stayed for two nights to enjoy shows at the Stratford Festival and the excellent restaurants in the area. Downtown Stratford and the Avon theatre were in easy walking distance. It was just a short drive to the other theaters. A place was very comfortable and quiet, an ideal headquarters for a couple on a trip to Stratford.
