Ce cottage traditionnel est situé dans un village paisible, à seulement 500 mètres d’une plage et à proximité de St David’s. . Salon avec poutres apparentes et poêle à bois. Grande salle à manger décloisonnée avec poutres apparentes avec coin cuisine de style ferme et sol en carrelage. Chambre individuelle. Salle de bain avec douche dans la baignoire et toilettes. . Niché paisiblement dans le charmant village de Trefin, dans le parc national du littoral du Pembrokeshire (AONB), ce gîte traditionnel et indépendant, gallois, déborde de charme et de caractère d'origine, ce qui en fait un lieu de séjour idéal pour les familles ou les couples souhaitant explorer littoral de la belle Pembrokeshire. Le chalet datant du XVIIIe siècle était un ancien chalet de capitaine de navire qui a été restauré avec soin pour en dévoiler tous les éléments d'origine, notamment des murs en pierre, des poutres et de nombreuses touches de bienvenue, dont un poêle à bois pour les nuits douillettes. . Les clients peuvent profiter de leur propre jardin privé (séparé du chalet et non clos), où ils peuvent s'asseoir, se détendre et se détendre après une journée passée à explorer la région. Sur le pas de la porte, vous pourrez faire de fantastiques promenades le long du sentier côtier emblématique et découvrir les jolis villages côtiers de Solva et de Porthgain, nichés dans des ports de pêche paisibles. Visitez la ville historique de St. David’s, qui abrite la magnifique cathédrale du XIIe siècle et les ruines médiévales du palais de l’évêque. Pour les plus aventureux, participez à une expédition de safari en mer autour de l'île de Ramsey, au large des côtes, en croisant près des oiseaux de mer, des phoques et, occasionnellement, des grands dauphins. Les plages dorées de Newgale et Whitsands sont facilement accessibles et sont réputées pour le surf et les sports nautiques. L'équitation et le golf peuvent également être trouvés localement. A lovely cottage, which could hardly be in a better spot for walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, or watching the sun set over the sea. We had everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower. We really appreciated the information provided for places to visit and to eat. Thanks for a great holiday!

Everything you need for a week away. After reading one rather bad online review we went prepared but we don't know what they were talking about- there was WiFi, plenty of TV channels, everything you need in kitchen if you want to eat in- the 2 slice toaster was more than adequate to feed 5 adults at breakfast! The bedroom downstairs was great as our dog can't walk far unaided and we wanted to have someone downstairs with him. Beds were comfy! Very quiet and peaceful. Good pub The Ship was within walking (or staggering distance). We would most definitely stay here again.

Nice cottage in a nice area - but the cottage description says there is a beach 500yds away - there isn't! There is a small stoney cove 5 minutes walk away, but you need to drive to get to a beach. The cottage is beautifully situated for the coastal walks on our agenda and it’s location in the village is ideal for a walk to the cafe and the pub. However, the lack of any kind of small shop in the village meant getting the car out, which wasn’t really a problem but a local shop would have just made the location ideal. The cottage itself is sweet and cosy and the kitchen facilities were enough for us to be able to cook for ourselves every evening. There were some small drawbacks which, to our mind, would have made the venue perfect. 1) Not enough towels by any means in the cottage, just one small towel each and 2 hand towels to share. A bath sheet each would have been perfect, plus a small towel each. 2) The wardrobes in the bedrooms could not be used because of the very damp and musty smell- the small room downstairs had no wardrobe at all because the room was very small. 3) The tap in the kitchen drips constantly and according to the reviews in the book in the cottage, has been doing so for a very long time. This became increasingly annoying when eating a friendly meal together, not to mention the waste of water. 4) The information regarding recycling was very out of date- we had to drive to Tenby to dispose of our recycling. Overall, a nice little cottage but marred slightly by some annoying issues which could be so easily rectified

It should be made clear that the garden is separate to the cottage and is not enclosed. Bedroom furniture needs updating-unable to use wardrobe in the twin room as it smelled musty and damp. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Beach is a small, pebble beach. Not suitable for paddling/swimming. Steep steps to access and road down to it is also steep. Nice to watch the sunset at. Location otherwise great to get to places such as St David’s and The Blue Lagoon. No shop in the village and the village pub is very overpriced. Much better places to eat in Porthgain.

Wonderful cottage .

Wonderful cottage . Fully equipped. Peaceful area . Excellent location for walking the coastal path Comfortable & clean . Spacious. Lovely underfloor heating in bathroom .... beds really comfy

On arriving the house smelt strongly of dog, there was cobwebs hang in all areas.

On arriving the house smelt strongly of dog, there was cobwebs hang in all areas. The cottage is comfortable but needs better cleaning, the bed linen had a stain on the bottom sheet and the towels are a grey shade in colour. However the cottage was situated near beautiful coastal walks and St David's. The log burner was a godsend as some areas of the cottage was cold especially the bathroom as the under floor heating wasn't working. We enjoyed the cottage it just needs decorating and cleaning a little better.
