Cet élégant appartement récemment rénové se trouve au cœur de Menaggio. L\'appartement est situé sur la Piazza principale de Menaggio, ce qui en fait un point de départ idéal pour explorer toutes les villes et tous les villages autour du lac de Côme. Il n\'est pas nécessaire d\'avoir une voiture car l\'embarcadère des ferries se trouve à seulement 800 mètres.

Depuis la porte d\'entrée, vous accédez directement à la Piazza, d\'où vous pouvez vous promener le long de la jolie promenade au bord du lac ou vous détendre dans un café avec votre cappucino ! Dans la ville, vous trouverez un certain nombre de délicieux restaurants italiens, des glaciers artisanaux, de petites boutiques et quelques supermarchés. La piscine publique \"Lido di Menaggio\" (piscine publique) avec plage de sable au bord du lac se trouve à cinq minutes à pied de l\'appartement.

Ce charmant appartement penthouse est réparti sur deux étages et comprend trois chambres et deux salles de bains. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, ce qui est parfait pour un séjour de vacances en autonomie. La salle de séjour est équipée d\'une télévision par satellite à écran plat et d\'un lecteur CD stéréo. Vous n\'aurez pas à vous soucier de monter les escaliers, car un ascenseur spacieux vous permet d\'accéder à l\'appartement-terrasse !

Le lac de Côme (Lago di Como) est l\'une des célèbres destinations lacustres italiennes, à seulement une demi-heure de la bruyante et animée Milan, dans le nord de l\'Italie. Le lac de Côme est long (50 km), mince et extrêmement profond. L\'extrémité sud se divise en deux longues \"jambes\", la ville pittoresque de Bellagio étant située sur le promontoire qui les sépare. Comme les autres lacs italiens, le lac de Côme est un lieu de villégiature apprécié depuis l\'époque de l\'Empire romain. Pendant des siècles, les visiteurs ont admiré les eaux bleues du lac et se sont détendus dans de luxueuses villas sur les pentes boisées du lac. Great area very close to town center. It was a bit difficult to find; but pictures provided at check-in certainly helped. No air conditioning wouldn't have been an issue; but with the rain, that limited our ability to keep the windows open.Would definitely stay again.

Lovely central location, lake view from main bedroom. As I have mobility issues, the lift to the property was a necessity, being on the 3rd floor. All necessities included, as well as welcome box of essentials eg milk, cereal, tea and coffee etc. Good standard of cleanliness and comfort. All in all, a positive experience!

Another great stay

This was our 2nd year staying at La Piazza Menaggio. It was delightful and even better this year. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive as before. The location is perfect right above the square. The apartment is spacious and more than adequately equipped. We hope to return many times in the future.

Lake Como

Upstairs loft is just that - a loft with slanted beams. More suitable for children or shorter adults. Place was very nice, clean and great location. They even provided a bottle of wine and snacks upon our arrival. A very nice touch! Highly recommend this location!

"AWESOME"

The apartment is awesome. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, Water pressure was great for showers!!! The location is perfect. The parking garage is very convenient. Having an elevator was a bonus. The pictures don't do it justice. I'd go back again tomorrow.

Great Stay in nice apartment

Apartment exceeded expectations. It’s better than the pictures. Upstairs rooms were a little pokey with low head room due to sloping roof and were quite hot. You couldn’t leave skylight windows open at night in case of rain. Otherwise, it was well equipped and we had a really good time there.

I would first like to express my thanks for the assistance we received during our stay. All the staff were polite, enthusiastic, and helpful.Booking was relatively easy. The pre-arrival instructions were particularly helpful. I greatly appreciated the inclusion of photos (e.g., your office; the entry to the building where the apartment was; the approach to the garage).The property was particularly well located for a visitor to Menaggio. The apartment was quite spacious, and certainly adequate for our requirements. I found the village of Menaggio quite attractive and enjoyable. It has a wonderful, lake-side location, enhanced by the snow-capped moutains towering above it. I liked sitting in the main square and watching the locals; and walking through the narrow, sometimes dark, village streets. Probably the highlight for us was finding our way to the Chiesetta, perched on a high spur just south of the village. We enjoyed its peacefulness, and the spectacular views to the village and the lake. We also very much enjoyed the agriturismo restaurant recommended by Andrea, a few minutes' drive up into the hills behind Menaggio. We also had a lovely drive to Lake Lugano. It was a clear winter's day, and the reflection of snow capped mountains and village buildings on the silver water of the lake was spectacular. As you can tell, we very much enjoyed our time in Menaggio.

Lake Como getaway

We ended our 10 day vacation in Italy with a relaxing 2 day stay in Menaggio. The apartment is located conveniently in the square with restaurants and shops steps away. We were delighted to find an elevator to our apartment. The apartment is well appointed with all amenities. The welcome gift was a nice touch. There are 3 bedrooms, one on the main floor. The remaining 2 bedrooms and bath is located on the second floor accessed by a narrow winding staircase. We found the apartment to be cozy, clean and conveniently located.

September 2017 So sorry for the lapse in time for my reply. We absolutely loved the apartment and would recommend it to anyone. It had everything required for our week. The coffee shop just opposite in the piazza was amazing. All the restaurants in the small alleys were also very good. It was a busy time for us so I can't remember any names. The supermarket was only walking distance too and was completely amazing for all food, wine and other essential requirements. The close proximity to the ferry was perfect. We can only say positive comments about the apartment, the town of Menaggio and your staff. Theresa, USA

The apartment was in a great location and very nice and quiet with good views from most rooms. We were delighted to see the welcome gift. We were really pleased that there was a lift to the apartment We had a great welcome at the office in Menaggio with lots of helpful suggestions. We were not in Menaggio for long but really enjoyed our visit to Varenna which was a delightful town.

We had a wonderful time at Bellavista Grande. It Is a lovely setting with astonishing views and a wonderful outdoor space. The property was very easy to find if you are walking from town or the ferry – a little more challenging in the car. The office team was superb! We thank you for the lovely welcome food and wine we received upon arrival! We loved the area so much it is difficult to pick a favorite. It is breathtakingly beautiful! We packed a lot into 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed the main piazza in Menaggio, and the bread and meat markets that were close by. Dinner outside at Il Ristorante di Paolo was fabulous, as were cocktails at the Hotel du Lac outside bar. The ferry was very easy to catch – just a short walk from the property and it ran on time. We loved Varenna and the hike to the Castello Di Vezio, as well as the climb up the castle tower. The shops in Bellaggio were much fun, and the walk through Lenno and to Villa Balbianella was gorgeous.

LA Piazza certainly lived up to our expectations and was exactly as displayed on the web site. Menaggio is a perfect location for touring in the Lake Como region and the ferry terminal is conveniently located to the appartment. The apartment was well appointed and clean. The welcome pack (including champagne) was great as was the welcome provided at the office. Our thanks to all the staff at Happy Holiday Homes and we will certainly recommend this property.

First off I will say the location of the apartment could not be beat and the office was a tremendous help especially Viviana she was the best very very helpful and informative ,we absolutely loved Menaggio and after visiting the towns of bellaggio and Varrenna which were awesome as well ,we knew we had picked the best place with Menaggio ,less touristy great food and nice people we especially loved pizzeria Lugano good service very nice people and great food at reasonable prices ,we didn't care for our tour for the bernina express ,too much time on the bus and not enough on the train and I don't believe anyone on the tour liked the town of St Moritz ,as for the apartment itself it was quite sufficient for our needs although I would recommend someone meet you at the apartment initially just to go over a few simple things that would make check in a little less stressful ,like initially what door to go in and how to operate the keys although we figured it out it was quite stressful at first also how to operate a AC radio washing machine coffee maker and I would recommend if possible a dryer as the towel situation was scarce other than that I would highly recommend the apartment and certainly Menaggio it was a wonderful vacation thank you very much!

We enjoyed the location of Le Piazza Menaggio and the ferry service to Bellagio and boat rental. The parking was fine and all restaurants were good. My teenage boys especially had a great time after meeting Italian friends and going to clubs at night. We really enjoyed Menaggio and Lake Como and plan to return in the future.

Thank you for your message. We had a lovely holiday thank you – the office staff were very helpful on arrival and the apartment was perfectly located for what we wanted. I am attaching one photo – which is of the kids rolling down one of the hills at the Villa Melzi in Belaggio. They had a brilliant time! Our favorite trips were the walk around the suburbs of Bellagio that we got from tourist information, the walk around the old parts of Menaggio with the children's’ trail - again from tourist information, and climbing up to the castle at Varenna. We particularly love the little bakery in Menaggio that sells focaccia breads with peppers or tomatoes sliced on top – perfect for picnics. I hope we will come back to the apartment again as it was exactly where we wanted to be – and remarkably quiet for being so central. Fingers crossed!
