A most beautiful apartment, great location.

Everything was great, good check-in, garage, 3 minutes wqlk to the tram. 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Cosy apartment, bright, great kitchen, quiet location.

Great apartment with everything needed - washer and dryer included! Just behind the villa Borghese park and 5 minutes from grocery stores. Well serviced by public transport. Owner was very nice and helpful! Will be back!

Beautiful apartment in peaceful neighborhood

We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the location close enough to see Rome but perfectly quiet and peaceful away from crowds. If you choose this rental be sure to get all the detailed instructions for checking in. The owner has photos and videos that make it clear but if you don’t have the information it’s not easy.

Beautiful unit

Lovely, quiet location by the Borghese Villa/park and a good 25 min walk to the Spanish Steps. The unit itself was clean, bright, warm and inviting - just like the photos. Plenty of closet space and a handy terrace to dry clothes. Large vanity to hold our toiletries. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. Super hosts who were quick to respond to an unexpected crisis (thank you!!)

Abysmal stay at this property

Property is misrepresented and unit is located in an adjacent building. Building shown in Vrbo advertisement is that of the Embassy of Lebanon and not of where unit is located. I opened a case with Vrbo on Friday, 12 April. We were met by a surly uncleaned unit and a cleaner who was abnoxious and belligerent to us. The property owner ONLY communicates with guests via WhatsApp chats.

Quiet and outside of Rome city center

The apartment looks just like the pictures. It is located in an apartment building on the 4th floor (with a tiny elevator) about 2 blocks from the entrance to Borghese Gardens and is about 1/2 mile outside the Aurelian Walls. We easily walked to the Trevi fountain (downhill!) and to the Priscilla Catacombs (north of unit). We even walked to St Peter's one day, but took a taxi back. The unit is on a bus line but we didn't use it. It was nice to stay in a quiet residential area away from the crowds. We managed to find a couple of larger grocery stores (called Pan on goggle) but they are at least a 15 minute walk away. It would be nice if the host left information and directions for grocery and pharmacy in the area instead of having to rely on Goggle which wasn't always accurate. We had to use Goggle Translate to figure out how to use the washer and dryer in the unit. HINT check in with the host BEFORE arrival so they can send you videos for check-in on WhatsApp. The gate key is one place, the room key is another. All in all, it was a good stay.

Amazing Retreat in Rome

This was the perfect apt for us in Rome! It’s in a very quiet and very safe neighborhood (Rione III). All the other homes surrounding the area are embassies and private banking venues, and a stone’s throw away (across the street) from the Villa Borghese gardens and the zoo. The Villa Borghese museum is a 7 min walk through the park. It’s perfect if you want to be far away from noisy tourists, but close to transportation to take you to the popular sites (there is a bus stop across the street and a tram a block away, and if you like, also Lime/Bird/Helbiz/Cooltra scooters around too). A nice perk was that The hotel Parco dei Principe on the corner has a spa and you can buy passes for the pool. Our communication with the owners was great, very responsive and attentive from the beginning and throughout our stay. The apt was so neat, super clean, spacious, and we loved all the different levels and the big windows. We had plenty of room to unpack with such big closets and drawers. They also have a fantastic steaming iron. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need, although we ate out most of our meals. The bed was very comfortable and with great pillows! We can’t wait to come back and we hope we can rest again this beautiful apt and extend our stay longer next time! Thank you Alessandro, Maya and Mirela!!!

D'abord, voici ce que j'ai apprécié: les propriétaires répondent rapidement aux messages et appels, l'apartement est lumineux, spacieux et en face du parc de la Villa Borghese, c'est dans un secteur assez tranquille bien que l'on entend les voitures circuler la nuit, donc si vous avez un sommeil léger, des bouchons d'oreilles vous seront utiles. Voici les désagréments: la photo de l'édifice n'est pas celle oû se trouve l'apartement, il s'agit de la vue lorsque vous êtes dans l'apartement; il n'y a pas de balcon, il s'agit plutôt d'un petit espace avec des murs assez hauts idéal pour y placer un sèche linge; nous avons utilisé la laveuse et l'eau s'est mis à couler du mur, nous avons contacté le propriétaire qui a demandé à la dame de l'entretien ménager de passer résourdre le problème vu que le propriétaire ne semblait pas du tout comment régler la situation, il s'agissait apparemment d'un problème de filtre de la laveuse; enfin, le drain de douche qui était bloqué, donc l'eau débordait de la douche, nous avons avisé le propriétaire et j'ai appris que l'on ne devait pas utiliser de savon en bar seulement en liquide comme du gel de douche. Il serait donc souhaitable d'en aviser les invités ou de fournir le gel de douche, le shampoo et le conditionneur. Je n'ai pas apprécié composer vu que je suis en vacances et pour le prix payé pour cet apartement. Cet apartement a besoin d'un entretien et mise à niveau.

A wonderful property. Modern and well maintained, safe and secure, and in a great location. Photos are accurate but is a top floor so several small levels between living area and bed. Some low ceilings in bedroom area.

Beautiful apartment in an upscale neighbourhood

We greatly enjoyed staying in this beautiful apartment. It was very well designed, well equipped, tastefully furnished and clean. The tall windows let in lots of natural light. The bedroom in the attic was very light and spacious. We really appreciated the location as well - far from the noise of the city yet close to all the amenities such as ATMs, supermarkets etc. You could either take a 20min walk to Piazza di Spagna through the gorgeous Borghese park or take a bus or tram to the city. The communication with the property manager was very prompt and easy. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Un appartement pour une famille

La location est sympathique, belle décoration. Un peu trop éloigné du centre de Rome pour faire tout à pied mais très bien desservi par les transports en commun ( tram, bus). Je conseillerai cette location pour une famille 2 adultes et 2 enfants plutôt que pour 2 couples . 1 couple dort sur le canapé dans le salon sur un matelas et sommier peu confortable. Nous n'avons pas vu le propriétaire mais avons toujours eu un contact si nécessaire. Restaurant et supermarché à proximité

Wonderful dwelling in a quiet part of town

The appartement was exactly as described in the rental site. It was very clean and Maya the owner was super helpful. The location was remove from tourists area so quiet and in front of the Villa Borghese parc which was very nice.

GREAT STAY!

We loved our stay in Maya and Alessandro's elegant, contemporary apartment. The location in right across Villa Borghese, very central and yet quiet, in one of Rome's most upscale neighbourhoods. The apartment was recently remodeled with high-end furnishings and details. It is exactly like described in the pictures. Lots of natural light throughout on a top floor with elevator. Maya was a great host, her responsiveness immediate and very welcoming, check-in and out was easy and very well organized, and plenty of useful information upon arrival.
