Le village lui-même est béni avec deux des meilleurs pubs de campagne dans les Cotswolds et avec la courte promenade vous emmenant directement dans la campagne magnifique, c'est vraiment le paradis des promeneurs. Le très populaire Daylesford Organic Farmshop avec son école de cuisine et son spa est à une courte distance en voiture. Winter break

This is the third time we have been to Grooms cottage. It is in an excellent location in a beautiful village. The cottage is comfortable and has everything that you need. Safe private parking is a bonus. I would recommend this cottage.

Very spacious bedroom and shower,had a problem on the first day with there being no hot water which was fixed the following day,great location within easy reach of a variety of places to visit,the cottage was clean and comfortable

Enjoyable Holiday

A very clean and comfortable cottage in a beautiful quiet area. I have had and worked with horses all my life so it was interesting that the owners also have horses. The cottage is ideally situated to visit all the wonderful restaurants that we usually frequent on our annual visit to the Cotswolds.

Loved Groom Cottage

Groom Cottage was absolutely perfect for us. It's really generously sized for two people, with two large comfy sofas, an enormous bed, plenty of room for lots of luggage and a modern shower room. The decor was lovely and we felt very much at home. The owners were very welcoming and it was great to be able to bring our dog. Kingham is such a great village to visit, with The Wild Rabbit and The Plough in walking distance and Daylesford just a couple of minutes drive away. We loved our stay.

A week in the Cotswolds

Nick was very welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with the heating on our first night and Nick came over to look and called out his heating engineer who got the system working. We found the cottage very spacious and comfortable, the location was ideal for exploring. Our whippet was comfortable from the off and enjoyed meeting Basil for a run around the lovely garden. Kingham is a picturesque village and we found the walk around the village just right for our dog.

Fabulous Venue

We had a wonderful long weekend. Grooms Cottage is located in a beautiful Cotswold town within easy reach of many places of interest. The cottage is perfect for two, beautifully finished, dog friendly and with all home comforts provided.

Perfect

Grooms Cottage provided the perfect get away. Very generous and comfortable accommodation in secluded position just across the road from the pub which served excellent evening meals. The weather could have been kinder, but this did not spoil our visit. We wanted a complete break away from the pressures of everyday life and that is what we got. We will be back!

Grooms cottage.

We had a great stay at grooms cottage, the Damson Gin was excellent (we would love to purchase a bottle, but not sure if available). The eggs were a very nice surprise. The owners were friendly and approachable, we would definitely return as there is still lots to see & Grooms cottage is a perfect base as we felt at home. The dogs loved it & with so many places to walk them, they were in their element. A big thumbs up from us Dave & Amanda .

Lovely village location with local pubs who serve good food. Great for local walks and plenty of places to visit within a short car journey. The cottage is very well located within a secure, quiet area with decent parking. The cottage itself is very well looked after and has everything you need.

This Cottage has it all. Beautiful exterior, comfortable and thoughtful interior. All appliances you can dream of and a stunning bath room. All located on the owners property in the the middle of Beautiful Kingham.

Hidden cottage in great location

Really enjoyed our week in Kingham. We live in a very peaceful location so we are always keen to find somewhere equally quiet and Groom’s Cottage did not disappoint. Kingham is very well situated for so many interesting places. We enjoyed days out at Hidcote and Kiftsgate gardens, Blenheim Palace and even a day by rail to Oxford as there is a station just outside Kingham. The cottage is well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and well planned - I could have moved in! The highlight of our stay was when two swallows flew into the reception room, flew around for a minute and thankfully flew back outside.

Easter break at the Grooms Cottage

We enjoyed the appeal, character and the comfort very much at the Grooms Cottage, as well as the location for exploring the tranquil villages of the North Cotswolds and Kingham itself (with a superb gastropub just at the other side of the road). Everything you need inside the cottage is there, the cleanliness is impeccable. The only remark we could make is the rather impersonal contact with the owners, which makes you doubt about how welcome you really are...

Simply perfect

Impressed from the moment we drove through the electronic gates and saw not only Grooms Cottage but the lovely location. Beautiful cottage, immaculate throughout and had absolutely everything we needed. Felt safe, warm, extremely welcomed by the fabulous owners and totally totally relaxed from the minute we unpacked. We will be booking again, with this type of superb standard and the lovely friendly and genuinely interested hosts, we can’t let this gem be a one-off.

We had a wonderful stay in Grooms Cottage. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped, it has everything you would need for a weeks holiday. Nice and secluded. A real surprise when you enter the courtyard! Really lovely hosts. Definitely one to return to.
