The villa was very well equipped and the gardens were lovely. The area has lots of beaches to choose from and Mojacar has a great choice of places to eat and have cocktails in the evening. A very relaxing holiday.
We had a great few days at El Molino. The location is amazing. The house is very well equipped, the views are wonderful, there's a lovely roof top terrace for sunsets and star-gazing, good wifi, off-street parking for two cars, and a really nice restaurant (La Almazara) a stone's throw away.
The villa is in a beautiful spot lovely countryside views and in an area that makes it easy to explore.
The villa has all the amenities that you would expect and was very clean and tidy.
The courtyard and pool area are wonderfully private and reasonably spacious.
All in all a fantastic place to stay !
Great property with lots of outside space, the views are stunning and the location is very quiet. Great communication from the host, check in was no problem at all. There are 2 restaurants in the local area, only 1 seemed to be open regularly but was great. A car is required due to the location but itâs definitely worth it
Lovely house, well equipped, if you have children it doesn't have tv stations programmed so bring either a lap top or dvds, beautiful area a couple bars in village. Town of Turre has all that you need for bars rest and shops. Mojacar is buzzy. Garrucha a seafood heaven. We would definitely recommend
Jerry was extremely communicative with us. He provided detail on everything from restaurants, super markets, side trips and how to operate the washing machine, hot water and other necessities. Jerry also checked in with us to ensure everything was ok.
As a family of 5 we really enjoyed our 6 night stay at this pretty converted mill. We were warmly welcomed with a few essentials in the fridge (milk, butter, bread, water etc). The house perfectly suited our needs, with air con in the main bedroom and the living area. The other bedrooms had ceiling and standing fans which were ok on all but the hottest of days, but as long as you kept the shutters closed in those rooms during the day it was fine. All windows and doors opened to excellent insect screens which we appreciated a lot. The surrounding gardens were planted up so beautifully with exotic cacti and succulents, we could see the owners are very passionate gardeners. The pool was great to lounge in but not deep enough for a good swim, which is made clear in the description. The shelves had plenty of books to browse and the dining room was great for meals and card games. Overall, for the most excellent and modest hire price, we were very satisfied with our choice of villa. Over the 6 days we particularly enjoyed exploring the beaches (Playa de La Muertos was fab), kayaking near Agua Amorgas & Carboneras coast, eating seafood in Garrucha, visiting some greenhouses in Almerimar (Clisol tour with Lola Gomez was very interesting, if you like that kind of thing). It was too hot for walks but at another time of year we would definitely have done a few hikes. Communication with Jerry, the owner, was good and he provided us with all the useful info we would have wanted via email.
In the hills but with a great restaurant and local bar 2 and 5 minutes walk away ( both Spanish owned ) and a 7 minute drive to the nearest town and the beaches are about 15 minutes in a car ( you will need a car here ) .
The accommodation itself feels like it's in the middle of nowhere the busiest the road gets is when Pedro walks his goats past .
there are two outside eating areas one with fantastic views for what I was told were mountains 40km away and the other nice and private next to the pool
It was clean tidy and felt traditional but modern with everything you need the tv was easy to use and had all the channels you'd need .
This is the best place that we have stopped at in our twice yearly trip to Spain .
We like to stop at different places every time we go to Spain but this place has us pondering .
We can't recommend this place enough .
Thanks Jerry

We loved staying in this beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations. The house itself has a warm and inviting ambience and we enjoyed relaxing in the pretty courtyard, spending time in the pool area, and in the early evenings sitting on the top sun terrace watching the sun setting over the mountains.
Indeed, we were perfectly happy to spend most of the day at El Molino when we weren't walking down to the valley, having a coffee in nearby Turre square, sitting on Mojacar Playa beach or eating supper in Turre or at the two local Cortijo Grande restaurants.
We are very happy to highly recommend it.
Leuke verbouwt autentique molenhuis .Veel oude elementen aanwezig. Badkamer vernieuwd .leuk zwembad. De omgeving is prachtig. Auto is nodig.
I love the feeling of peace and tranquillity that settles on me as I leave the A7 motorway and drift through the quiet few miles until I arrive at the moment when El Molino comes into view. When I park and open the wooden door into the courtyard I always get a surge of delight as I enjoy the wonderful bougainvillea, jacaranda and colourful lantana shrubs and the scents of jasmine and roses.
I remember the first time we saw the old Mill House set into the low hill, surrounded by shrubs and trees and so perfectly in harmony with the landscape and wondered "what if " . When we walked to the terrace at the top and gazed down over the gardens and the lovely pool we knew that we had found our small piece of heaven and now wish to share this treasure with others.
