A very comfortable and well equipped villa with a lovely atmosphere. Spectacular views, amazing walks and a lovely pool. We had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again. John the owner was very helpful and responsive.
The most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in with panoramic 360° views over mountains and towards the sea. Lots of fabulous terraces to enjoy the different view points as well. The pool was also wonderful, secluded and it was cleaned twice in the week that we were there. Will recommend this villa without hesitation.
Desde el principio muy buena comunicaciĂłn con el afitrion.
El alojamiento esta equipado con todo lo necesario para descansar y disfrutar de tranquilidad, ademĂĄs de la privacidad que te da la casa.
Repetiremos.
A lovely villa, well equipped with a great pool and stunning views from every room. The location was beautiful within easy reach of lovely restaurants (Fatimaâs is a must), Turre and Mojocar. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the terraces made this a fantastic holiday. Would definitely recommend this villa and this beautiful area of Spain.
Varias terrazas. Lugar muy tranquilo. Piscina grande. Realmente es un lugar ideal para desconectar. MUY RECOMENDABLE.
We stayed mid March 2018 for one week, out of season, so the weather was mixed but warmer than the UK so a good start. John the owner and the managing agents were really helpful with information, key collection and showing us to the villa. The first thing you notice are the stunning views from every window Wow this was something we never tired of. The villa is well equipped with everything you'll need and lovely and clean. We did a big shop at the local super market in Turre stocking up of food, wine and logs for the fire and holed up for the week. We'd go out walking over the mountains which was a short walk up the road with various options of old goat herder tracks or rambles every corner offering another spectacular view.
There was only the two of us staying so we used only the master bedroom with on-suite bathroom & shower. The bedroom was warm and cosy well decorated with beautiful views and patio doors opening directly out onto the pool area. The air con warmed the bedroom well in the evenings when the temperature dropped.
We ate out a couple of times at the local restaurants Los Pastores and the Riad both beautiful Moorish design and menu to suit all. But mainly lit the log fire most evening and wined and dined in the villa which was very relaxing. Tapas and a glass or two of Rioja for lunch out on one of the balconies was heaven after a walk in the morning.
The pool was private with a sunny secluded patio area where we managed to spend a couple sunny days topping up our tans. The pool was obviously not up to temperature being March but we did however brave a couple of lengths as a one off just to cool off and imagine this would be lovely in the warmer months.
We loved it here, so very relaxing, we felt as though we'd been away longer than a week and yes we'll be back hopefully to enjoy it in the warmer weather and would recommend it to our family & friends.
Spent two weeks here, been tot he area before and seen the Sierra Cabrera from many angles. To stay up in them was fantastic and in such a fantastic house. Views are remarkable, walks from the door up the road to the hills, or a short drive to spectacular ramblas. Do that in the morning and then laze by the pool, saw wild boar, ibex, eagles and bats. The house is excellent, air conditioning great for night but the house is cool enough in the day witht he breezes flowing through. Views to the west give the impression of flying. John was great ot deal with via email, everything went very smoothly. We'll be back!!
We had a wonderful week in this villa. Set high on the mountain above Cabrera, the views are stunning. There are three patios facing different directions, so the sun or shade can be found at any time of the day. The scent of blossom on the seaward-facing patio in the evening is quite intoxicating, and the pool area is nicely secluded.
The house was clean and had all facilities. The air conditioning in all three bedrooms was very effective, needing to be turned on only when needed. There were books available to read, and a variety of CDs to play. A number of TV channels were available, as were a pair of binoculars that we used frequently to check out distant things.
The listing description was accurate, as were the directions to the property provided by the owner. We tended to go down to Mojacar playa in the mornings, stopping off for a couple of drinks and tapas at the Aku Aku beach bar (highly recommended) before returning to the villa for lunch and an afternoon by the pool.
We ate out some evenings, in Mojacar, Turre and at Los Pastores in Cabrera, all of which were within easy driving distance.
We would highly recommend this villa to friends, and will certainly be making a return visit ourselves.

My wife and I, who live in London, bought the villa in the early 2000s and updated it and installed a kidney-shaped swimming pool.
We are both writers and use the tranquility of the house to work on occasions, if we can force ourselves! But when work is over, we are just minutes from the mountain's excellent restaurants or a short, enchanting drive down the mountain to the many pleasures of the beach and coastline or the inland delights of this part of Andalucia. It is not the crowded Spain of 'the Costas', but it has more than enough of interest to please all ages.
We try and visit the villa as often as possible, but it is never often enough, although our family enjoy making their own visits.
As well as being in the warmest part of mainland Europe, we fell in love with the area. It combines the serenity of an 'away from it all' home whilst having all the necessary shopping and recreational amenities within 10 minutes drive. Another few minutes and you are at the beach. The coves and beaches of the Cabo De Gata national park are nearby within a short drive: secluded spots that you thought had vanished from Spain forever.
The villa has a staggering view inland, to the West, and we often dine on the balcony in the evening enjoying the beautiful sunsets. There is room on both sides of the villa to dine and to enjoy - or avoid! - the sun. The quiet of the mountain is wonderfully calming, but the house, whilst being away from it all, is by no means remote and access to restaurants and, in the large village of Turre (pop 4,000) at the foot of the mountain about ten minutes' drive away, all amenities are available. The beaches are quiet for Spain and there is a large naturist beach at Vera Playa plus many intimate coves along the coastline for nude or 'textile' bathing.
