Bienvenue à Habitat 16! Ce magnifique deux chambres, deux salles de bains et demi Condo vous attend. Ce condo est une belle unité de niveau 2, situé au 2ème étage. Le dernier étage a deux de vos chambres. Chaque chambre a une taille de lit queen et sa propre salle de bain! En plus d'un lave-linge et sèche-linge situé entre les deux chambres! Le salon a une taille queen aussi. Vous obtenez également deux balcons privés, une à chaque étage. Super pour le café du matin! Vous allez aimer le charme de ce condo.

Ce condo est situé à moins d'un bloc de la plage, a internet haut débit, un espace de stationnement attribué, piscine privée, et deux téléviseurs! Tout ce que vous avez besoin pour profiter de votre maison loin de la maison!

Habitat 16 accepte les animaux domestiques avec une limite de poids de 20 kg si vous restez une semaine ou plus. S'il vous plaît contactez-nous directement pour l'approbation de l'animal.

Good vacation

It was a great spot just about a five min walk to the beach, relaxing no one bothers you just a great spot to be at.

Christmas Vacation

Thank you for a great apartment. The location was great. We enjoyed staying here. I did have to clean when we got there. There seemed to be old coffee or food splattered around on the appliances and walls and the floor made our feet black, I got a stiffer mop, but other than that it was great.

Great Place!

Great little place. My only negative was the beds were to firm for me. Over all 5 minute walk to the beach. Nice and quiet. 2 balconies for sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Nice family getaway

Having never been to the island, it was nice not having to stay in a hotel. While the property is somewhat dated, it was charming and cozy. Other tenants not following the pool rules and broken blinds giving us minor privacy issues didn't take away from our stay. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

It was okay

Our stay was decent but the place was a lot older than it appeared. Few things needed to be update and were falling apart. The walk to the beach took longer cause the entrance was closed. The other guests were loud at the pool and messy there was no one to manage them. The furniture seems old and needed deep cleaning.

It’s cozy.Definitely a lot of space. Cold air conditioner which was great after spending an afternoon at the beach. Well equipped with everything for a quick lunch. The pillows to the bed were comfy! We’ll definitely be back :)

Overall experience was good. And when we notified mgmt it was taken care of quickly. The biggest disappointment was how dirty the pool was. And that the light in the pool did not work which made swimming at night more dangerous for younger kids as it was difficult to see them under water.

Disappointing stay

The condo location was a nice location. The bedding and towels were clean. Water pressure was great. We had inquired about the pool prior to our arrival and were told it was in working order. Upon arrival the pool was a greenish gray color and you couldn’t see more than a foot into the water. They shocked the pool and treated it. Day 2 we were told that it was safe to swim. However our daughter suffered a chemical burn that blistered after being in the pool. The air vents had a black mold all around them & the condo stunk of mildew by the end of day 2. It was overall a mediocre stay. The price was right. But we got what we paid for. Management was combative when we called, but they did have maintenance fix the pool.

Not horrible but not great

Overall the rental was ok. It had basic necessities but nothing extra. It was fairly clean but the floors were definitely dirty and our feet were black walking on them. We had a toddler with us and the unit was in no way baby proofed, despite us notifying Rent on Padre we were coming with a 1 year old. This would have been a nice heads up. The location was within walking distance from the beach, which was nice. The furniture definitely needs to be updated. Overall it was just ok and we would probably not stay there again. Again, not horrible but not great either.

Great location Dated property

The location was great with the beach about a 5 minute walk. Dining and shopping all a short drive away. The inside of the condo itself is dated and somewhat run down. The chairs in the living room are of the quality of end of the driveway with a free sign and no one will take them and dining table was rickety. That said it was clean. When we walked in there was as a mold/mildew smell and there appeared to be mold on the vent above the dining room table. We came back with a pastry our first morning, set it on the counter to go for a walk on the beach, came back an hour later and it was infested with ants. It took about 8 hours for housekeeping to drop off ant spray. The beds were comfortable though pillows were not. Overall communication with property management was fine. We didn’t appreciate having to wait so long for the ant situation to be dealt with but all interactions with them were pleasant and dealing with them prior to this they were always friendly. They let us enter the property a little early and did give us a $100 refund for the ant and mold inconvenience after asking for it. Probably wouldn’t stay at this property again but would work with Rent on Padre again.

Not what I expected

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was not very clean and I thought for the price it was not what I expected. We found a live roach in the basket of goodies they left. Which was the soap for the washer machine and other items like that. There were ants crawling everywhere on the grounds and next to the pool. There was a dead baby bird on the sunning area of the pool for days. I was expecting a more clean experience. I will not be staying here next year when we come to South Padre.

Bigger than realized

Only suggestion I would make is to have some beach towels and maybe one or two beach chairs for those that fly in as packing space is limited. Would def stay here again.

Short Walk to the Beach

The condo was very clean, the bed and bathroom were comfortable. However, the balcony sofa is in very poor condition and the living room furniture needs updating. Overall, the trip was very nice. Was switched to this condo when the management company mis-booked our original selection.

Good value could use some updates

Reviewer Comments: unit is priced reasonably, but could benefit from updating the old and dirty furniture, most blinds are broken, posts pand and plates are in real nice shape and plentyfull, has great showers with HOT water and good water pressure. has a couple cracked floor tiles that could use replaces. Dishwasher did not work upon our arrival, and the unit only had One dish drying towel. Batteries in remotes were dead, and unit has two 3 way laps and no 3 way bulbs in the lamps. I went to walmart and purchased Led lights for the light above the dining room table, as it only had one bulb and it was very dim.

Last days of summer getaway

Had a great time in this property. Walking distance to store for some shopping, good walk to the beach. We did some fishing at the Port Isabel pier and had some good food at the food trucks, along with some rides on the Ferris wheel and go carts.
