CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.
-PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/NO WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS.
-$100 per pet fee (7 days or less), $200 (8-29 days), $300 (30+ days).

August 2023 Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean, open and welcoming. It was a short walk to the pool and a short drive to the beach. The location is between downtown Corpus and Port Aransas so we were able to visit both cities for food and attractions. Two items that weren’t of highlight for the trip were the trash trucks emptying the dumpsters every morning, sometimes it was at 615 in the morning. This condo is on the end right next to the dumpsters so it was very loud and woke us up in shock, as the dumpsters hit the ground every morning. The pool was also pretty warm regardless of time of day. I didn’t check to see if it was a heated pool or if it was just the hot Texas sun causing it to be warm. Other than those to things it was a nice vacation spot.

NEVER Again will I stay here! No security camera, CAR BROKE INTO!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: NO CAMERAS, CAR BROKE INTO. feet away from children and my husband caught the man in the act and they started yelling at each other. He did snatch my wallet back from the man but the man ran off with some stuff, of course it was our last night so we were going from room to car and back constantly. Luckily that’s how we caught him. The women were Unwilling to compensate us that night with terrified kids and mama. No unit to move to and feel safe and they wouldn’t even give us 100-200 dollars to just leave and go get a hotel elsewhere. To make it all worse the cops called her and told her what happened to us and I didn’t know this until I had called and asked for help to feel safe and she said oh yah they called and told me. Seriously?! A nice person would have called and asked are y’all okay can we do anything to help. Nope it was a rude attitude as if my call ruined her night as our children were crying and heard all the screaming of the altercation. Also believe them when they say there is no early check-in.ONLY 2 wash cloths were given we had 2 adults and 2 kids noted to stay. I NEVER leave reviews at all BUT these women could have been more sincere and helped us out that night. Not to mention corpus cops are a joke! They didn’t even get my name or number or do a police report. I’ve tried following up and Nothing! But Take my advice let’s mamas start staying in a gated resort to feel safer on vacay, either way next time my husband yells at me to get the gun there will be Zero hesitation and I won’t call the worthless cops until intruder/thief is dead.

Very Nice and relaxing stay...

We had a great time over spring break...the heated pool sure helped when the temperature dropped into the 50's. Condo was very nice and clean...just wish it had more window's or maybe skylights to brighten it up naturally. I did think all the additional fee's were over the top and I feel like all the pet fee's should be refundable deposits if nothing happened. My dogs do not shed and are supper clean...you wouldn't even know they were there. Just my thoughts. All in all it was a good trip.

They are building new condos behind it,noise all the time. Furniture is uncomfortable and needs cleaning. No rugs anywhere. Oh yes try living two months with two people with one small dresser. The washer needs to be cleaned, had stains from it on some clothes. I could go on but you get the jest of it. The complex was great, we have stayed in other condos there and they were great.

Location, location, location!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Village by the Beach is a great location for all things near the water. We brought our family dog and VBTB has good walking to the beach. Some accepted grass areas along the way. Packery Channel is where my husband likes to surf and that is just right near VBTB. Port Aransas is up the road for a big dog park and who doesn't love a golf cart ride on the Island! Our unit we choose to stay is always so quite and clean.

Nice getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean and had all the pots and pans we needed for cooking meals. The beach is within walking distance but the biggest draw to us is its close driving proximity to Padre Island National Seashore. This right here was enough for us to plan our return. The 2 downsides inside the home were the internet not working and the old, stained pillows. They really need to be replaced, maybe invest in a pillow protector? We were not very bothered with the internet as we were there to get out and about. The only other downside externally was the pool. It was nice and clean but two groups were playing really loud music despite signs saying this was not allowed. It made for a “battle of music” situation, diminishing the point of relaxation. Security was there but did not do anything. Thankfully we did not stay right next to the pool and we only went once. The beach is wonderful and our family, including our dog enjoyed this mini vacation.

Wonderful stay close to beach

Had a wonderful experience at this property! It was within walking distance to the beach, very clean and spacious! They also accepted pets which was very helpful. However, there were a lot of hidden fees ( both from VRBO and cleaning fees from the owner) so the price per day was significantly higher than posted rate.
