Ocean Front Beach House avec chemin privé et une vue imprenable

La maison quintessence en bord de mer avec un sentier privé menant du pont à droite sur Agate Beach.

C'est la dernière maison sur une route de gravier avec une petite crique d'un côté jusqu'à la plage. La plage a une petite piscine en crique avec un fond de plage de sable - sûr pour les petits enfants et loin des vagues. En outre, il existe un pont entièrement fermé avec une porte verrouillée, qui est sans danger pour les plus jeunes.

Prenez votre petit déjeuner sur la terrasse tout en surplombant l'océan. Réveillez-vous avec les vagues, regardez le bleu profond et, si vous avez de la chance, observez une ou deux baleines. À seulement quelques pas du surf et du plaisir. Jouez sur le sable ou dans les bassins à marée d'Agate Beach, ou dirigez-vous vers l'aquarium de la côte de l'Oregon ou la plage de Nye à proximité. Tout ce que vous vouliez d'une maison en bord de mer pour la famille!

Avec deux grandes salles de séjour, vous pourrez faire de nombreuses activités à l'intérieur les jours de tempête. Bien sûr, quand le soleil est au rendez-vous, il suffit de descendre le sentier et de mettre les pieds dans le sable! Il y a 3 chambres avec lits queen et une chambre avec deux lits jumeaux. La cuisine est bien équipée pour recevoir. Veuillez noter que le sentier privé menant à la plage comporte quelques marches intégrées le long du sentier avec un téléphérique. Ce n'est pas un sentier pour une personne instable sur ses pieds ou avec des limitations physiques. Venez vous détendre et construire quelques châteaux de sable. Nous avons le WiFi! Maison est 2100 pieds carrés.

Les vacances coûtent 359 $ / nuit avec 3 nuits minimum: Thanksgiving (Noël du 20 décembre au 1er janvier), le Jour des Présidents, le Jour du Souvenir, le 4 juillet et la fête du Travail.

Would stay again!

This house has pretty much everything you’d need to cook, be comfortable, and tables to play games, all with amazing views of the ocean through the trees. Private access to the beach a plus! Bring your rubber boots to cross the wide creek or simply wade across in bare feet to get to the ocean. Cliffs and rocks to explore on the right, sand dunes to the left, and surfers to watch out front.

Loved the Beach Cottage

Let me start by saying the host was amazing. We had an issue prior to the trip. The host MaryJo went above and beyond to save our trip. You are booking from someone that takes care of people. As for the VRBO, the beach cottage exceeded our expectations. The set up allowed for 2 families to comfortably stay. The property has a clear path down to the ocean with lots of opportunity to explore and relax right on the ocean without having to jump in the car and drive. Be aware that the path is very clean and has rope hand rails but is a little steep. This seems to be the norm for the Oregon coast. We ended up hiking it multiple times a day. Amenities near by ranged from visiting the Newport aquarium, Oregon state science center, walking the piers to view the sea lions, and visit some restaurants and the rouge brewery. However, we spent most of the time at the beach.

Great House!

House was perfect for our weekend escape! We enjoyed the super big couch & spacious room upstairs for playing cards & Mario Kart. Loved the double sliding glass doors, we could hear the ocean & provided a nice breeze. Thank you for keeping the kitchen stocked & providing above what I expected.

Beautiful home with ocean views through the trees

This property was lovely. It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable and just felt like being "at home". We liked the open plan space downstairs, and found the upstairs seating area very comfy for watching TV in the evenings. The deck was a great space for relaxing outside. While we appreciated the existence of the path down to the beach, we did find it a bit rough and likely not very accessible for anyone with balance or mobility challenges. Having said that, we did make it up and down without incident! Overall, the property was lovely and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

We had an awesome stay. The house setup has one Queen and a twin bedroom with walk in shower. Beautiful views and the grandchildren loved the path to the beach.

Perfect spot

This was as advertised and a great location. The floor plan is ideal for a family with a large family area both upstairs and down. The location is just the best with the beach down a short (but somewhat significant) incline. The path itself could use some improvement. Well equipped and according to two teen kids… nothing to improve.

Spring Break

We’ve come to Newport for the last 7 years during spring break. Of all the places we’ve stayed over the years, this was absolutely our favorite. The spaces we had to play games together, watch movies together, and the path down to the beach made this property absolutely perfect for our family. Can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful home on the Oregon Coast

This home is beautiful. Has nice views of the ocean. Short drives will get you to several fun spots up and down the coast line. Our family really enjoyed our time here. Trail down to the beach is steep boy will worth the trek.

We’ve stayed in quite a few Oregon Coast vacation rentals over the years from Astoria to Waldport and this is our absolute favorite place. The house is lovely. It’s roomy, clean, stocked with everything you might need and close to the beach.

Fantastic Vacation

My family and I traveled from Wisconsin to see the coast. Once we got to the house we didn't want to leave! It felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. My children loved the cozy family room upstairs. The views were amazing. Mary Jo was great to work with. We will all treasure the time we had at this house.

Excellent cozy view home

The home was excellent. We loved the cozy feeling and the spectacular views. Great kitchen and dining area, big enough for our group of 6 adults and a child. The upstairs den was great for our 4 yr old to play while we watched tv/movies, plus a great view out of the large windows. Walk down the beach trail was a little difficult for our little, and while carrying beach items, but just a short drive to a nice beach. Would stay here again.

Comfortable and relaxing

We had a super enjoyable stay (a post-OSU commencement celebration for our family) at this fabulous home along the coast! The views are amazing... a perfect place to relax and play cards with family and friends, watch a movie, take a hike along the beach, or cook up a great dinner! The kitchen was well-equipped with every gadget you could possibly need, and it was sooooo relaxing listening to the waves as you drift off to sleep.

I co-own this house with my brother. We built this house on property that has been owned by our family for close to 100 years. I manage the rentals of our beach home because we want to have a connection with the people that stay here. We hope you will enjoy your time at the beach as much as we do. We also hope you will recognize it is our home and treat it as you would your own.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My brother Kirk and I co-own this home together. We built the house in 1993. Our grandparents had a house here where they spent the summers from the time our mother was a baby until the house burned down during the 1940's. My grandparents didn't rebuild a the house and left the property to our Mother. She gave us this beautiful beach front property and her blessing to build a home for our children to enjoy as much as she did as a child.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

There are very few houses in the Agate Beach area that have their own path to the beach. We do sit up on a hill so the path is a bit steep and not for everyone. We do our best to maintain the path while keeping it hidden from public view. We have a beautiful view of the beach and are somewhat protected from the winds. The two living areas make a great place for the adults to enjoy conversation while the kids can be upstairs with a movie or games.
