Holiday beach bliss is yours, a minute from Camber Sands dunes & beaches, near Medieval Rye, East Sussex. Rye has excellent shopping and eateries and is of significant historical interest. Newly built by award winning architects, this timber build, eco friendly house has a shingle and black clapboard finish, inspired by the Hamptons, USA. It has an open plan living and kitchen area, with two fridge freezers, two ovens & a 'Nikola Tesla' hob. The landscaped garden is fully equipped for showering, outdoor cooking & dining. All 5 double bedrooms (1 in the garden) are en suite, one with a bath. We have parking for 5 cars. We offer 5 bedrooms - three upstairs, one in the purpose built garden house and one downstairs for easy access, for less mobile guests. This room has doors to the garden.
We are dog friendly too. Your dogs will love the open spaces of of our 6 miles of beach and dunes. They can relax in the enclosed garden and wash off sand and mud in our hot or cold garden shower.
Pooches are very welcome almost everywhere, in nearby Rye too.
I can provide dog beds, a travel cot and a single airbed for little ones who want to be in the same room as their parents at night. We are 'day trip close' to a lot of great places including Bodiam Castle, Great Dixter and Dungeness, Europe's only designated desert where you will also find Derek Jarman's beautiful Prospect Cottage ( all about 30 min drive) . Hastings is a few stops on the train from Rye or a 15 mile drive. We are 39 minutes by high speed train from St Pancras International London, then a little train for 10 mins to Rye. Camber is a 10 min drive from Rye. or about a 1.5 hour drive from London.

We love it here. We love the beach, especially the stunning sunsets. We love our local pub The Owl - great food, 3 mins walk. Cocktails and dinner in the garden are a real treat too. The house has been decorated using art and decor from over 15 years of travel. We hope its as eclectic as it is homely and comfortable.

Nearby Rye is a great town. Not only is it beautiful with great shopping and eateries, at Xmas it is simply magical. The bonfire festival in November is an annual must see.

Our house is the result of a long held dream and a picture I drew on the back of an envelope 10 years ago --- and twenty years of saving up. We hope you love it as much as we do.

This is an exceptional home! It’s just a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach and a ten minute drive from Rye which we loved visiting. Lots of great restaurants and takeaway options really locally too. The house itself is exceptional- really clean and well equipped with everything you could wish for. It’s very comfortable and housed our party of 8 perfectly. We had an amazingly cozy stay and loved spending time at the house especially with the Christmas tree up! The perfect place to stay!

Great holiday rental! We would recommend it.

Camber beach house is a lovely place to stay. The finish and fittings are to a high standard. The fact every room has a bathroom is fantastic. All the beds are comfy too - very spacious for our group - 6 adults and 3 kids. Stay here - you won't regret it.

A fab stay

Can’t fault jeani’s lovely house at all!!! It’s absolutely gorgeous inside, the photos don’t do it justice. Soooo close to the beach. There is literally a trail to the beach at the end of the road. Everything we needed was at the house, and some lovely brownies and wine! Thank you so much for such a fab stay!

Perfect!

For the ten of us, the house was perfect. Very modern, stylish, spacious, immaculately clean and equipped with everything anyone could need. The garden is lovely and secluded with an enormous wooden table that we could all sit around. The massive sand dunes and beach are within a five minutes walk. The beach itself is stunning. No one in our group could think of any negative comments and communication with the owner was excellent.

An excellent location and good communication with the host made it a good start. The house is spacious and each bedroom having its own ensuite is ideal for a group of adult friends on who are not family. We had dogs with us and it was ideal to be able to let them into the back garden first thing. The proximity to the beach is another plus point.A couple of things prevented a five star rating - the French doors are VERY tricky to open and close. We couldn't get the ones in the downstairs bedroom to open at all.We also found it difficult to get the TVs working, but maybe that's just us (the older generation). Perhaps clearer instructions would help. Ditto for sorting out the refuse bins so that they do get emptied.Finally, the garden needs tidying and some of the bed linen has seen better days.But local eateries are very good and even in low season , with most beach front outlets closed, we had excellent food - recommended are Khanz (curries), the Owl pub and Marine fish & chips.

Hi there - as I said to you, feedback always appreciated. I’ve acted on each point already since you left yesterday. I did test the TVs and they are all working normally. Mysterious! I have already replaced the bed linen in I believe one of the 5 bedrooms as they needed replaced - you’re right to spot it. The French doors now have advice on how to open and close and I’m afraid I can’t speak for the council missing the bins ( for the first time ever / very disappointing). I’m glad you liked the stay and do come again. J

A labour of love!

We stayed for 3 days in this fabulous house, which felt like we were living in an art gallery, since there were so many lovely pictures/objects to look at. The unique, quirky decor prevalent in all the rooms, showed how much love and attention had been given to the house. Everything was provided for our comfort, which we would wish for. We had a minor issue which needed sorting and the communication with the owner was excellent, to resolve the problem. The garden was perfect too and was secure, so our dog could enjoy it.

A slice of paradise

From the moment you step in the doorway of this beautiful home, you know you've found something special. Jeani's gorgeous property is light, bright and eclectically quirky - an accurate representation of the Camber/Rye area. We visited for a family celebration with 6 adults, 4 kids and a dog, and the space swallowed us and more. With every bedroom having an ensuite, there was no fighting for showers, instead, it was a place of calm and serenity. A literal stone's throw from the beach for days of sandy fun and then a quick hop, skip and jump to the wonderful eateries of Rye - you'd be hard-pressed to find an ideal location for a UK getaway. Jeani was warm and attentive to messages and couldn't have done more for us. I can't wait for another stay here.

An excellent mini break

This property is exceptionally well fitted out, it is comfortable with great decor. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds really comfortable. It is also clean and a bonus to have an en suite bathroom to each bedroom. There is plenty of space and the outdoor area is big although the weather prevented us enjoying it!
