Our stay at this beautiful place was excellent. Starting from communicating with the hostess, the place itself, the location close to the beach and the places to visit around..all was charming and beautiful.
Will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family and planning to return. Thank you to our hostess!

Nicely furnished with everything you need. There is a wrap around porch that we really enjoyed. Comfortable beds and sofas for relaxing and getting a great nights sleep. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. We had several days of iffy weather but finally it cleared and we could enjoy the beach. Erin was very available if we had any issues and responded promptly. Overall a great place and pet friendly too. Our little dogs had a great time as well.
I will be traveling more off season :) Most places are still open and its so easy to get around at discounted rates. Loved staying at this home as I felt at home here. Communication with Erin was so so easy. Everything you need is here if you choose to use. (spices, sauces, laundry soap, dish soap, cute happy dishes and cookingware) Neighbors are quiet. Front deck is my favorite spot bc love birds and privacy..the beach is a very short walk (4 houses down) beautiful sunsets..Back yard has an really nice outdoor set up..bikes, chairs, etc in shed, very organized. What more can you ask for? Thank you Erin for trusting me and making me feel more that welcome :)
This cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. We especially appreciated Erin's willingness to have pets in the house. This is our 3rd trip to North Cape May, but the first time we've been able to take our dog - she loved it! Being 1 block from the beach was wonderful & we were able to go back & forth multiple times a day. Although the yard is not entirely fenced, there are even some baby gates to block off the porch stairs so our dog could be on the porch with us. Provided linens, beach chairs & umbrellas were added plusses - especially when our dog took most of the back seat! We hope to come back soon!
Myself, husband, and two children under the age of 10, along with our parents who are in their 70s spent a week here in mid summer. The walk to the beach was very easy, we were able to take multiple trips a day back-and-forth along with all the beach gear necessary for small kids. the beaches were clean and fun to hunt for unique stones and rocks. The water was nice and very shallow. We happen to be swimming, while some jellyfish appeared to be moving through and unfortunately two of us were stung. After that, we kept the swimming and splashing around to about knee height, which was easy to do and still very enjoyable. The house itself fit our needs.
My family and I were very happy with our stay at this lovely house! My daughter loved going to the beach everyday which was only 1/2 a block away! She picked shells and critters with the provided bucket and got to pet the horseshoe crabs on the beach. The bay beach was very serene and beautiful and the low tide made it quite fun to walk the 100 yards to the water. We had a gorgeous week staying during the 4th of July week. We got to see fireworks from our porch for the North Cape May 4th of July celebration. I barbequed 3 times during our stay and we visited Cape May and surrounding areas to visit the town, the lighthouse, the WW2 tower, the zoo, and other summer sights. I walked my dog around the neighborhood and met some friendly dogs and owners. We would love to come back again to this wonderful house!
We really enjoyed staying at your home. It was a quiet & beautiful neighborhood. Everything was close by,no more than a 10 minute drive, and we especially loved being that close to the bay. Our dog had a great time too. We are looking forward to coming back, this was the perfect spot.
We enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage at the beach. Easy arrival process with most everything supplied by Erin the owner for your convenience. Half block from quiet beach on the bay . English garden exterior of cottage makes it the best of both worlds. Recommend for quiet getaway .
Itâs a great location for hanging out on the beach and sunsets! We enjoyed ourselves. AC and appliances work well. Great water pressure (always a plus in my book!)! Kitchen is well-appointedâŠplenty of seasonings, condiments, dishes, cookware, trash bags, soap pods, etc. The house is comfortable for 4-6 adults or 4 adults and 4 kids (bunk beds). Ants in the kitchen were a problem during our stay; Erin (owner) got a pest control service to the house asap. Erin was very responsive to any questions or issues that came up.
This adorable house is perfectly situated in Villas, with wonderful proximity to the Bay and its sunsets, all the household amenities one might need for even a long stay, super-comfortable mattresses for a great night's sleep, and, most importantly for us, a cozy front porch overlooking nothing but nature! There's a bird, bee, butterfly-friendly garden of a front lawn and we so enjoyed watching the local birds busily come and go from Erin's nesting box attached to the porch. There's an opsrey nest across the road among the tall grasses which was another wonderful feature of the house. Having stayed at various locations within Villas over the past couple of years, we can assuredly say this is one of the nicest. And Erin's response to my asking if we could take our pups was a lovely and friendly "We welcome your whole family!" Great place; terrific host -- you'll love it!
Great location for bird watching and short walk to the beach. Town is a short drive away. Good spot. Cheerful living room and comfy beds. Dof friendly.
This was a nice quiet location so that we could have some quality family time and yet close to activities that could keep all of our various interests satisfied. Renting in the off-season made it affordable as it would not be in the summer. This house had everything we needed and enough space for us all. The beach was a short walk and very private. We love bird watching and there was plenty of birds to watch from the front porch! The house had loving and and welcoming touches that made our stay feel special. We Will definitely try to get back here!
Quiet, clean, and calm, yet a short distance away from action/activities if you want it. We enjoyed our stay very much. Lots of bird activity and a view of nesting osprey out the front window.
My sister ,her dog Meadow and I had a wonderful time during our stay at Erinâs cozy bayside cottage. The location was just perfect. It was just a short drive to to everything that we wanted to do. We spent thanksgiving day at the Cape May zoo with friends that joined us for the holiday at the cottage. We returned home to feast on a beautiful thanksgiving dinner prepared by Acme market!. (Heat and serve complete dinner) The cottage had absolutely everything that we needed to ensure a perfect stay. Erin was so accommodating and delightful to work with. I would definitely stay here again!
Dog friendly. Very nice cottage close to the bay and only a short drive to Townbank and Cape May. Very quiet neighborhood, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The house is clean and well maintained. It has 3 nice sized bedrooms and 2 full baths. A small back yard has a grill and seating an the front and side porch also have table and chairs.
The house was perfect for our family vacation. We all enjoyed watching the wildlife and being so close to the water. The property was clean, however we did have to battle the ants that would constantly end up on the kitchen counter.
I know this is a constant problem for the area. But it was the one negative. Other than that everything was exceptional.
Peaceful sunny house to enjoy the Bay and Cape May
Perfect long weekend. House is clean and weâll appointed with great location. We spent time walking with the dogs on the bay and Higbee beach. Erin was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed to enjoy the bay and downtown Cape May. Would love to rent again.
We are city dwellers who love urban energy but also need to get back to nature regularly. In the years we've owned this home, we've fallen in love with the area...it has a great vibe all year long, together with amazing birds and other wildlife. (I never get tired of the dolphins!) We've been transitioning the yard from all rocks to native plants, with great results in terms of visiting birds and butterflies! We love biking into Cape May or Wildwood when we need some excitement, but otherwise, grilling out back and listening to the waves does the trick!
We were drawn to its amazing location on a short street, with the bay just a few steps away and creek in front of us. We thought it would be a great place to chillax -- and it is!
