Amazing water views during the day, spectacular sunsets every evening and the historic, peaceful Town Bank community.
Plus enjoy Sunday check-ins during the summer months to avoid Saturday Cape May traffic! And new for 2025 ~ after a few upgrades and off-season deep clean, we now offer you a chance to leave your 4-legged friends at home and just enjoy the tranquility of the beach.
Our cottage is 2 houses from the water and has ample space for your family. Plan to use everything in the shed (beach chairs, kayaks, fishing polls, bikes, toys etc) to enjoy our fabulous beach as well as surrounding parks and preserves. Or venture a short drive to downtown Cape May to visit the beach (badges included), restaurants and other local attractions and seasonal events.
Relax at day’s end watching the sunset from the front porch then enjoy dinner on the side deck under the lighted pergola.
It was certainly love at first sight for us and something about her kept drawing us back ~ we're excited for you to meet our Baby Beluga and hope you'll feel the same. (** Please note ~ you can either bring your own linens, rent linens from a local establishment, or if you would like to use ours please plan to wash & dry all that you use prior to checkout.**)

Quick little getaway.

The owners are very nice and easy to work with. The house was very cute, clean, comfortable. We were able to relax for a few days and just enjoy our time together.

Amazing home by the bay!

Bay-bee Beluga was everything we wanted for a late Fall sisters' weekend away and more! The home was clean and cozy, perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The ease of check in and check out made for a smooth first-time experience for us. The hosts were so warm, welcoming, and accommodating, and the house itself was so cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and felt like home. And the neighborhood and views were just stunning! If I could rate it higher, I would. We would go back again in a heartbeat!

Absolute Perfection!

We are in awe of Baby Beluga! My husband and I stayed here for a few days away and it was so peaceful. Everything is pure perfection. The house is so cozy, warm and inviting, and the sunsets each and every night were breathtaking. This is truly a gem. The hosts are exceptional as well, so kind and communicative. We love everything about this place!

Delightful stay by the bay.

We all found this a wonderful place to stay. My sister, our friend and our little dog enjoyed all our time there. Communication was easy and timely. The check in was simple. Inside was clean, comfortable with thoughtful touches to make you feel welcome . There was anything you could want to enjoy the beach without having to bring a ton of stuff with you. The close proximity to the water and beach provided wonderful views and memories. I would not hesitate to stay again and highly recommend this location and host. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Cottage stay by the Bay

This was our 2nd time staying at this quaint cottage bayside, but first time under new ownership. We had a lovely, relaxing time and the new owners were very accommodating and welcomed our fur baby. Thank you,, Denise & Jim!!!

PERFECT

The perfect location with everything you need for a relaxing vacation! Lots of comfortable seating indoors and out to relax, read, watch the sunset, or just chill. Walked to the beach every morning and enjoyed historic Cape May and restaurants just a short drive away. We absolutely loved this beach house!

Perfect hosts, location, home! Every amenity that you need is in this home. Just bring your clothes and enjoy. Nice collection of beach chairs,toys,umbrella. Walk to the beautiful bay beach. Denise is quick to respond and make your vacation enjoyable.

Great Stay

We had a great week. The house was clean and comfortable with lots of essentials provided. The owners are great and responded quickly to any questions we had. A one minute walk to the uncrowded Delaware Bay beach was the icing on the cake! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful & Relaxing Stay

My family and I and our beagle thoroughly enjoyed Denise and Jim’s charming cottage by the bay. The house was very well equipped and comfortable and cozy. Ample room for everyone. I loved morning walks by the bay with my dog. Everyone is so friendly and upbeat in the mornings. And it is heartwarming to see the people gather by the bay in the evenings for the sunset. Walking distance to a fun Bayside restaurant and short drive to all the action in Cape May Oceanside. I talked to Denise a few times and she was very helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Thank you again Denise and Jim! It was a vacation we will never forget!

Beach Gem

Denise and Jim’s property is delightful! Great location, lovely home, very comfortable furnishings, plenty of spaces to gather both inside and outside. Fun “toys” in the shed, games and books in the house. Extremely well stocked kitchen!! And lots of extras to make us feel at home! Excellent communication when needed. And a refreshing outside shower space 👍 We will look to return in the future!

Beautiful property a few steps from the beach

Thanks Denise and Jim for welcoming my friends and I to your home! We were really happy with the property, it is spacious and everything was as listed. The biggest perks are being a few steps from the beach and all the provided amenities, including beach chairs and kayaks. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

Charming cottage in Town Bank

Our family of 4 including our 12 year old girl and Belgian shepherd enjoyed a 4 day stay in this well equipped cottage. The cozy vibe was all anyone would ever need at the beach. The cottage's location was perfect for facilitating frequent back and forth to our beach setup and for early morning and late night walks on the beach. The location was also perfect for exploring historic Cape May, Washington mall, nearby farmers markets, and local restaurants. We were also able to enjoy a walk up to the top of the Cape May lighthouse, while we were at the top we had a beautiful view of the ocean and also saw a pod of dolphins! We fully recommend this stay.

Perfect weekend retreat

The house was exactly as described— even better! We were blown away by the beautiful sunsets and delighted to be so very close to the dog-friendly beach. A <10 min drive from Cape May’s tourist center, which was perfect distance for us to feel removed from the bustle but not too far from the action! We hope to visit again soon.

What a lovely little gem

I booked this trip as a birthday gift to my husband who wanted to go down the shore as a family. He told me as we were leaving that he absolutely loved the home. The location truly can't be beat. It was two houses from the bay, which was free to go onto. Seeing the horse shoe crabs on the shore was fascinating. The house was the perfect layout, super cozy, with all the amenities we needed. The hosts were so communicative and even let us check in early and check out late. A true dream weekend for us. We hope to be back.

Great location and steps from the beach!

Comes as advertised! Steps from the beach and a great location to get to nearby attractions. Very clean and communication with the host was outstanding. We were accommodated with our check in and check out which was greatly appreciated. Perfect place to stay with your pup too. Totally enjoyed our time there and plan to come back next year! Wonderful and relaxing stay

From the moment that I communicated with the host to the day I left, it was a wonderful experience. The house is lovely, comfortable, cozy, and has everything you would want and more. The view is spectacular with having the sunset surround you only a very, very short walk away. The best part was that we could bring our 13 year old Lab. He loved every part of the house, making sure he sniffed every room showing his approval! The location is close enough to downtown Cape May where we visited twice including Congress Hall for Thanksgiving Dinner and Washington Square for shopping and lunch. I would not hesitate to stay here again for any occasion, holiday, and to relax. If you are considering staying here for any reason, I would highly recommend it. I know we will be back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cozy home in Cape May. Everything was as advertised and super clean. The owners were very helpful and super accommodating! The location is great!

Nice cottage!

We enjoyed our recent stay. The house is located in a residential area and you can sit on the porch and see the water. We especially liked the two living areas and all of the couches for relaxing. The owner was very good about communicating and answering questions.

Nice place to chill out

It was beautiful weather. We walked so much on the beach both of us had sore muscles. We also brought two dogs 🐕 they were wore too . 😂 Everyone there are nice people ,it was enjoyable meeting new people
