I'm so thankful that I stayed here! Isabella made me feel very welcome and comfortable and like I had a friend in the area. She's engaged and responsive to her guests; I always felt like I had what I needed, and she went above and beyond. I've decided already to return to this apartment when I'm next here. Check in-was easy and I had all of the information that I needed for the apartment right away. Isabella was also very helpful with any questions that I had. The apartment is clean and well designed and well equipped. I lived in the apartment by myself for most of the stay, and I felt very safe. And when I welcomed a visitor from back home, I felt happy to have them join me in such a great place. It became a real home-away-from-home for me. I've travelled a lot, and I give this rental my highest recommendation!
Our flight was delayed a few times but Isabella still waited up to greet us upon arrival. She left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. There were lots of thoughtful touches and additions to the apartment, one of the most practical and helpful was a rolling backpack that made shopping and carting laundry to the Laundromat SO much easier than without it. Isabella was available whenever we needed her or had a question. The flat was clean and centrally located and we enjoyed our stay there.
The apartment is a walkable distance from the main attraction of the city, such as San Marco Square (10 mins), Duomo Square (20 mins), Palazzo Vecchio or Ponte Vecchio (25 mins). By bus 5 mins to Piazza San Marco or in 10 mins to Station Santa Maria Novella For those who are flying into Florence, there is a shuttle that will take you to the train station. From Santa Maria Novella Station take bus # 17 towards Verga and get off at Savonarola Stop (about 4/5 stops) and then walk back 50 meters on the same street from the bus stop to apartment.
To Know: In Florence, during the summer season, there are mosquitos, some easy precautions can be prevented: always keep mosquito nets shut in the flat (if necessary).
