Check in was very easy. Quiet and safe place. Large table for Family Dining. Plenty of seating in Living room for Large Family. TVâs actually worked as they should. Lots of cooking appliances and excellent Refrigerator. Excellent supply of towels.
Beware of the ants. 2 of the bedrooms are in ADUs. Not a ton of actual bedrooms. Kind of loud with planes flying over and noise from the maintenance people. Overall it was okay, but incredibly pricy.
My sisters and I get together once a year on a different city. We enjoyed the property since it was spacious and sufficiently quirky. Proximity to the light rail was super! The neighborhood is nice, walking distance to restaurants, markets, and shops.
Overall a great stay. Great location with a bus stop at the end of the block and a light rail station within a 7 min walk. Plenty of room for a large family.
We were a student group of 12! While obviously that many people under one roof is tight, this place did it wonderfully. The place was as clean as could be expected, in a decent state and a great location. The home shows its age but that's not a bad thing. I do wish we could have had more rolls of toilet paper etc. for the number of guests listed but I understand that it could be a lot of logistical somersaults for the property manager to scale all those amenities with the number of guests.Generally pretty happy with the stayâ definitely decide who will get the nicer rooms before going though, since they are not equal in how "nice" the arrangement is. A very good inverse relationship between how much space you have to yourself and how plush it is.
Amazing stay! Comfortable and spacious. Super kind and communicative host! The location is perfect, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the furniture is very comfortable. We had our very large family over for a backyard gathering and there was plenty of room for all! Be careful of ants if you leave any food out, but otherwise everything was phenomenal!
This house was perfect for our stay in Seattle. We had a group of 10 adults and 2 infants and everyone had a great place to sleep. The 3 levels plus the two guest houses in back offered places to gather together and have privacy. The host was very accommodating to allow early checking and late checkout which fit the needs of our travel schedules. We used the nearby train and busses for our local travel and had great service on them.
I and a group of friends from South Dakota rented this property to attend a Packers/Seahawks game (GoPackGo!).
Pre-rental communication was excellent including a no hassle schedule change within the posted time limit. Checkin was a breeze. Communication during the stay was timely and the host really did impart that she cared about our comfort.
The photos represent the homeâs layout and amenities accurately. The kitchen and common spaces are well appointed and very well lit with both overhead lighting and multiple lamps. There are multiple TVs and the internet was fast. The cute little bungalow in the backyard afforded privacy to the one couple in our group, and all of the beds were comfortable (including great linens).
I donât think you could find a better location. We were less than five minutes from the light rail and our total door to door commute to the sold out football game was around 30 minutes. We were also walking distance to the Market and other iconic Seattle sights. We used Door Dash several times. There were seemingly endless options and we never waited longer than 20-30 minutes for hot food.
Checkout was also very simple. I hate when I rent a place and the list of check out responsibilities makes me wonder why I have to pay a cleaning fee, but this rental had a short common sense checkout list that made sense but did not cause us to have to get up an hour earlier for our already early flights.
Would eleven out of ten rent again.
great house for ladies trip - pay close attention to the bedroom details
This property is ideally located just a short walk from the subway, making it perfect for groups without their own transportation. It features multiple bedrooms and plenty of space for guests to get ready (including full size mirrors!).
Downstairs there was a sectional sofa and large dining table for gatherings (different than what was in photos).
On the second floor, the king bedroom is private, while the semi-private queen bedroom (had curtains for privacy) also has two futons and access to the loft (third floor) via a spiral staircase. The loft includes two twin beds with a door leading to the fourth bedroom in the house. Those sleeping on the 3rd floor must go to the 2nd or 1st floor to access the bathroom.
Bathrooms in the house include a full bath with a small shower on the first floor and a full bath with clawfoot tub/shower on the second floor.
The 5th bedroom and 3rd bathroom (half bath) is located in a detached garage.
The 6th bedroom described as a cabin, is a bed in a detached shed (interior nicely updated) land lacks direct access to a bathroom - not ideal for a woman.
Kitchen has new appliances.
We didn't have hot water and the property manager was quick to rectify. They had installed a new dishwasher the day before and missed turning the hot water back on. Additionally, was also quick to answer questions we had.
While the bedroom layout may be unconventional, the owner effectively maximizes the space. Great house for a ladies trip!
We went with two families and this place is perfect. There is so much space that everyone could have their own privacy. The location is perfect, 2 blocks from the train to get anywhere but a nice walk to the market. The host was great. If ever Iâm in Seattle again this will be the place!
A very convenient location for our family gathering. Close to restaurants, grocery shopping, not far from downtown. On a quiet residential street and in a good neighborhood for walking to nearby parks and business areas. Off-street parking was much appreciated. Kitchen was on the small side and somewhat basic, but navigable.
I was very impressed by the communication! Rebecca was incredibly helpful. The space was perfect for our small group of adult professionals attending a conference- the house had a large living and dining areas as well as enough private bedrooms for all of us. The location was exceptional and we were able to walk to fantastic restaurants! Would stay again on our next trip to Seattle!
We booked this property with 6 adults and an infant for Thanksgiving Week. It was perfect great location with easy access to public transportation. The dining room table was great for family meals and hanging out. Lots of comfy furniture and big enough we didn't drive each other crazy. You can't go wrong booking here!
For a group of friends looking for good value in a great location this is the spot! Clear communication from host. Everyone gets their own bedroom. House is fairly dated, bathrooms could use some handyman fixes and general updating. Upstairs attic is cramped.
Overall, if you want a location right near the Cap Hill action this is a good find.
Property was great, very charming and spacious, and in a fantastic and safe part of town, easy access to everywhere, would book this again next time in Seattle.
Location was great. Itâs an a older house & a bit quirky & worn for the cost. Although living room/dining room/kitchen were fine, there are only 2 showers (one very tight one off kitchen) for all those beds (10 of us). Top floor bedroom was unusable due to difficult access & it was so hot. Out building rooms/beds were ok in the one but no shower & the other was again, unusable due to the temps without much ventilation. I can see a large group of young adults using this but rough & odd bedroom setup otherwise.
I own RSJ Management and am an insurance professional for Farmers Insurance. I love the vacation rental industry. Helping people make new memories is happiness to me.
This house is close to the new Capitol Hill Light rail Station, 2 Blocks from the public bicycle rental, minutes to downtown and also very close to the major universities.
