The charming apartment is located just half a block and easy walking to stores and restaurants. Our host was warm, welcoming and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay.

This home is on the 4th floor with no elevator, which is just nice to know when packing and planning.

Excellent communication between the host and us prior to and during the stay. The apartment is on the 5th floor (4me etage) but you get used to it soon. The neighborhood is great for walking and exploring, far from tourists yet close to the metro to get to all the attractions. If you don't mind walking and climbing stairs, I recommend this apartment.

Overall an okay apartment with no frills. A 5-minute walk to the nearest metro stop which was convenient. A few fun restaurants and bars nearby, plus stores for groceries including Marks and Spencers Food. Here are a few somewhat minor things to be aware of that we encountered:

It is on the 4th floor with spiral stairs the entire way which can be a real workout - especially with luggage - no lift available. The toilet seat was broken. Toilet paper dispenser was empty but spare rolls were supplied. Peeling paint in bathroom and bedroom. One of the previous visitors (we presume) put dirty dishes away into the cabinet. Be careful not to stub your toe on the kitchen floor as it has a lip that sticks up and two of us hurt our feet. A dishwasher is included, which is a great convenience. Be sure to ask for instructions on how to operate the stove top. We were not able to figure out how it worked until the second day. The hosts were easy to reach by email/text and responded to questions and concerns. The biggest issue we had was having to wait 2 1/2 hours after our agreed-upon arrival for someone to show up and let us into the property, which impacted our plans. It may have been out of the control of the hosts, however, as some climate demonstrations had caused traffic disruptions. However, it would be much more customer friendly if a lock box with a key in it could be installed to avoid this kind of problem in the future. The hosts gave us a gift which was a nice gesture as an apology and was appreciated.

I will definitely will stay there again when I come to Paris.
