We are a family of 4 and we have really enjoyed our stay in the tower. It is very clean and full of character. We didn't mind living on 4 levels because we are (rather) young but I can imagine other people do. The kitchen was rather poorly equiped and we also missed the possibility to eat outside. There is a small rooftop terrace but that's merely there to enjoy the stunning sunset in the company of a glass of wine. Alberto and Diana are lovely and will help you with wathever you need; tips on good restaurants, things to see and do,... The pool is great as is the garden, Alberto does a great job there. The views are simply breathtaking. San Silvignano is the ideal operating base to explore the surroundings. And there is plenty to explore. Le Logge is certainly worth a visit.
I and my wife Monica and a couple of friends where at Le Logge di Silvignano a week in June 2010, accomodated in The Tower, not only a beautiful tower of the 10th century, but also a very spacious, comfortable and convenient accomodation, made of two independent apartements that granted the both of us couples a nice pricacy, though beeign just aside. Diana and Alberto where wonderfull hosts, more than that friends, helping with information and suggestions. They addressed us to beautifull Restaurants ( actually we never made any use of the kitche in the Tower but for breakfast and preferred to enjoy the wide variety of local restaurants and trattorie) , wine cellars, olive oil producers, and many hidden charming places. Tha garden the pool (perfectly clean and equipped)and the naural environment let us have a perfect relaxation after our very busy days of touring around. Avery special appreciation for the breakfast welcome basket we found at out arrival, with home made products and enough for the next days. The home made pie we still remember. We definitely believe we will be back very soon.
I feel so guilty to write this review so late. It has taken me so long to write in appreciation of your beautiful properties. We ( my wife and me, and Jenny and Vincenzo) had the privilege to stay in The Tower of beeing the last Guest of 2009 season (late october).
We had a wonderful holiday walking and visiting small medieval towns and hidden churches that you suggested to us.
We were really impressed of the magnificent view and the absolutely peace of the house and surroundings.
All the property is very well refurbished. The beds are very comfortable and you, Diana and Alberto, magnificent host. Thank you again for your hints .Specially for the small trattoria da Sandro where we had several meals and take away of Pizza and marvellous Lasagne!!!!
We hope to see you again very soon. May be next time we will try Ulysses House with its "infinity" terrace and the Pool.
Arrivederci e bacci
