Victory Cottage est une jolie maison de brique et de silex récemment construite

Le Victory Cottage est un joli cottage récemment construit en briques et en silex situé sur une voie tranquille avec un accès piétonnier à la rue principale. Le chalet a été joliment meublé avec une grande attention aux détails et une finition élégante partout. Il y a deux chambres doubles, le maître étant en suite avec une troisième chambre simple / dressing qui conviendrait idéalement aux adultes ou aux familles avec des enfants plus âgés. Depuis la cuisine très bien équipée, des portes-fenêtres donnent sur le joli patio. Le jardin arrière est particulièrement agréable et entièrement clôturé par un ancien mur en silex.

Le village possède l'un des meilleurs magasins de la côte. Il y a un chemin de fer qui va de Walsingham à Wells la plupart de l'année, ce qui est populaire auprès des adultes et des enfants. Vous avez également plusieurs bons endroits à manger à votre porte, y compris The Norfolk Riddle, un excellent restaurant de poisson-frites, et le Black Lion, un excellent pub gastronomique.

Walsingham est un endroit fascinant à visiter avec de nombreux bâtiments de qualité et l'abbaye de Walsingham avec les célèbres "Snowdrop Walks" au printemps.

Comfortable Stay in a Great Location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Victory Cottage. here are a few general thoughts. Pros: Clean, spacious, warm & comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen (although I couldn't find any kitchen scales) great to be able to eat breakfast there, without using the more formal dining room. Lots of of hot water for showers. Lovely to be able to walk into the village. Lovely courtyard garden. Cons: Swan Entry is very narrow and it's a dead end lane, so you have to be sure you can turn into the lane and then reverse into the parking spaces, of which there are two. This can be quite a challenge at night. The smallest bedroom is ok for an adult but the space for hanging clothes is limited to a few hangers on a free standing coat stand. The room containing the double bed is VERY tight for space around the bed. Storage is ok with hanging space in the built in wardrobe and 2 shelves for other clothes, but nothing else. The bedside tables have no storage.

Just as described.

Knowing Walsingham as we do - my parents and sister visiting every year on pilgrimage between early 1970's to just pre-pandemic - we knew exactly what to expect about the village and surrounding areas. As a family we had stayed at a nearby property previously and knew exactly the location of Victory Cottage. Location wise it served us very well. You could not want for a more comfortable, clean and well equipped base. We even managed a BBQ or two!! Walsingham is a beautiful place, whether religiously or just as a great base for exploring/walking. My only concern were the "reminder to clean/tidy" notes dotted over the property, and the copious amounts of cleaning fluids and equipment. We were always conscious of the need to check things when used!!. At all times we are an extremely clean and tidy family and don't need reminders as to how to treat, use and clean a property. Maybe Jennie has been let down previously, but don't "tar us all with the same brush". I recommend this property with this slight reservation.

A wonderful week.

The position of Victory Cottage in the heart of Little Walsingham was a real bonus. Access to local walks, local places of interest and for trips out to places like Wells, Holkham Hall, Fellbrig etc made this the perfect holiday spot. Victory Cottage is a 5 star place to stay.

comfortable stay and places to visit

The cottage was super. Tucked away in historic Walsingham it was a delight! The cottage has an impressive heating system. Clean and comfortable with excellent places to eat out. The only negative is the narrow lane to get down to park but done once it was easy!!! Recommended.

Lovely Cottage in a beautiful location

Victory cottage is a charming brick and flint cottage set in the wonderful village of Litte Walsingham. We had a wonderful stay at victory cottage it had everything you could ever need and will definitley return to stay. Little Walsingham has to be one the most charming and quiet villages we have ever stayed in, with the shrine in the village and the slipper chapel close by they are a must for visiting. The location is so close to the beautiful norfolkcoast line and days by the sea are within easy reach. Norfolk is such a fantastic place and we always feel so relaxed whiles staying in the county.

A fantastic week in a super cottage in beautiful North Nofolk

We have just returned from a lovely week at Victory Cottage in Little Walsingham. A pristine cottage, very well equipped and comfortable in a quiet location, a stone's throw from the centre of the pretty village of Walsingham. A good base for two couples. We visited several historic houses and rode on the Holt/ Sheringham steam railway as well as the Walsingham/ Wells Light Railway. The weather was perfect and we found good local pubs to eat and drink. The North Norfolk coast is amazing ! A great holiday!

A delightful Haven in Little Walsingham

We were thrilled with Victory Cottage which was all we had hoped for for our weeks family get together. It was beautifully furnished and equipped. We have holidayed over the years in some super properties but Victory Cottage surpassed all the others. Everything one required had been carefully thought through and provided, many thanks to Jenni. It is and was a peaceful haven to return to in the delightful village of Little Walsingham and we found the local neighbours that we met helpful and friendly. Holt, Wells next the Sea, Blakeney, Sheringham, Cromer, Hunstantan plus many other villages on the way to the easily accessible coast we all enjoyed. We recommend Blickling Hall NT the house and gardens well worth a visit. Holkham Hall Estate too. The Barsham Arms, East Barsham highly recommend for a super meal with great friendly service. Many other Pubs/ Restaurants depending on ones tastes. Hope to return in the not too distant future to this super cottage.

Great stay!

Lovely cottage in the centre of Walsingham within easy walking distance of sights and amenities. Probably the best equipped we have ever stayed in. The parking was a bonus. Loved the treats left for us!

Christmas 2017 at Victory Cottage

Fantastic cottage overall but a few niggles for us. The main bed was not good enough for us and the small room really should have had a proper duvet on, even though there was four of us one of my sons had flu so needed to sleep in this room. If it had not been Christmas we could have complained but the office was shut till the day after boxing day by which time it was a little late for us. The welcome pack was really good and the whole cottage was spotless down to the Christmas decorations which looked lovely.

Fantastic cottage in great location.

Fantastic cottage in a great location. The accommodation was very very clean with all mod-cons thought of and provided. Plenty of room for all the family and a real home from home. Hidden away in a lovely quiet location. Village is perfect for exploring North Norfolk's fantastic beaches and villages. All in all a super place to stay.

Cosy homely cottage

Victory cottage is a gem, home from home. It is tastefully decorated and so clean. It's location is ideally situated in the lovely village of Little Walsingham. Great pub and also convenience store. I will definitely be visiting again.

What a Great Place To Stay.

Victory Cottage in Little Walsingham certainly lived up to its name. What a triumph. The owners had thought of everything to make the stay easy...even down to a magnifying glass for those of us who regularly 'lose our glasses'. So tastefully decorated but homely and comfortable at the same time. Very friendly neighbours too. Highly recommend Victory Cottage. Walsingham an interesting village and so close to all the fabulous towns on the North Coast.

Fantastic short break

Half term getaway

Listed as a cottage but basically a spacious, modern, clean and fabulous place to stay away from the hustle and bustle. Only 10mins drive from Wells on sea and Fakenham. Great place if you want a quiet relaxed stay but just remember the local shop shuts at 5:30. We will definitely stay here again!.

A spacious, light and airy kitchen with french doors onto the patio and window to the rear allowing the light to flood in. The kitchen is very well equipped and has an electric hob and oven with cooker hood and is fitted with a range of integrated appliances including dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge freezer. The dining table has seating for four people.

First Floor:

With a king-size bed.
En-suite shower room
With a shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

With a double bed.

Bath with shower over, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside:

The rear garden is enclosed and very pretty, with an ancient flint wall to the back and side and and a large patio with table and chairs. There is gated access at the side to allow bikes through to the garden, if required.
Parking for two cars is on the driveway at the front of the cottage.
