My Space Barcelona vous souhaite la bienvenue à Barcelone !
Appartement entièrement équipé et meublé de 130 m², situé au cœur de Barcelone, sur la célèbre Rambla Catalunya, dans un immeuble avec ascenseur et à quelques mètres de la Casa Batlló et de La Pedrera. Le séjour minimum est de 1 jour et peut être prolongé jusqu'à 11 mois, idéal pour les entreprises ou les étudiants.
Le Paseo de Gracia, l'une des principales artères de l'Eixample (Extension), a été construit à partir de 1860, après la démolition des murailles qui limitaient la croissance de la ville. Ce quartier, conçu selon le plan Cerdà, est célèbre pour ses bâtiments modernistes et sa beauté architecturale. Il abrite des monuments emblématiques tels que la Plaza Cataluña, le Paseo de Gracia, la Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, et plus encore, ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour découvrir le charme de Barcelone.
Informations importantes avant la réservation :
Le gestionnaire de la propriété vous enverra un lien pour effectuer le premier paiement de 30 % (nous n'acceptons pas les cartes American Express). Les 70 % restants doivent être payés par virement bancaire avant l'entrée dans l'appartement ou en espèces au moment du check-in. Un dépôt sera prélevé par carte bancaire au moment du check-in. Le remboursement sera effectué dans un délai de 7 à 14 jours ouvrables. Lit de voyage : Prix 20 EUR/jour, non garanti, doit être demandé 24-48 heures à l'avance et est sous réserve de disponibilité. Arrivée hors des horaires : L'enregistrement se fait de 15h à 20h à notre bureau situé "Carrer de Hercegovina, 1 LOCAL 08021 Barcelona". En dehors de ces horaires, un supplément de 50 € sera facturé en espèces. La taxe touristique en vigueur à Barcelone sera appliquée. Interdiction de fumer : Fumer dans l'appartement entraînera l'expulsion immédiate et une amende d'au moins 400 €. Pas de fêtes ou de réunions : Si une plainte est reçue ou si la police intervient, une amende de 400 € sera appliquée (en plus des amendes policières). This apartment was in a great location close to everything! The manager was really awesome to deal with. We did have some plumbing leak problems while we were there but they were taken care of in a timely manner, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

It was Ok
The location is fantastic. It has great potential. Nice architectural details. Not luxury. The beds are uncomfortable. The bidet leaked. The TV did not work and no response from host. There wasn't enough toilet paper for just the two of us. Probably wouldn't put that in if everything else was good. I wouldn't stay there again.

Thieves, Kept My Security Deposit!
Looks great in photos… hardly any of the doors actually open or close, the beds are like stacks of cardboard under a sheet and there are zero amenities. Bring your own toilet paper. The check in process is terribly inefficient and inconvenient. We stayed two nights and were only there to bathe and sleep and when I inquired about my security deposit, they gave me a bogus email to contact them regarding it and have been ignored by My Space Barcelona since! Terrible experience, would not recommend staying here. Trust me. Get a hotel room.

I’m affraid I have to report that the property was run down and not suited to a family of 8.
As for Myspace staff no interest in our needs and our complaints to the office and even cut the call off ( so rude and unprofessional.

lovely old building/apartment right on the Ramblas
Absolutely perfect location right on the Ramblas. The apartment needs a little maintenance and the mgmt company has been notified so hopefully the issues will have been corrected for future guests. Overall the apartment was comfortable with great WiFi and the architecture of the building is a delight. One caution though, the current mgmt company insists that you go to their office to pick up the keys. Unlike most hosts, they absolutely refuse to meet and greet you there at the apartment. Their office is located a 20 minute taxi ride each way from/to the apartment. However you can leave the keys on the table at departure - after you take out your own trash. To sum it up great location, decent apartment lousy customer service.

Great location, older property
Our group of 7 adults had a great time at this property in the heart of the Eixample. The apartment fits the neighborhood and has some lovely features, just as shown in the photos, but also some significant issues: the upstairs bedroom and bath have only 5-foot ceilings and no air conditioning, the master bath is on a balcony that can only be made private by closing numerous windows and doors and some of the kitchen cabinetry is broken. The kitchen is sparsely equipped with not even a corkscrew or dish towels. The washer/dryer is a single unit that does not really dry clothes. The furnishings overall were a bit dilapidated. This all may be fine - and even charming - for many guests, but it should be taken into account when booking this property, especially for a family vacation.

Great location, beautiful elements - but issues
There's SO much to love about this apartment – the location, how quiet it is, the beautiful tile & architectural elements – but the lack of basic maintenance and supplies is disappointing.
We loved being in the middle of a vibrant neighborhood with everyday life of families and a school outside the back and the easy access to transportation for our adventures.
Nevertheless, we wondered why basics like laundry tabs, salt, olive oil and a corkscrew were missing (we bought and left these essentials for the next tenants), as well as why our requests to replace 8+ burned out lightbulbs and a stuck sliding door were ignored. Honestly, for the price (and the location), these requests should have been addressed quickly.
This could be an AMAZING place (if a little quirky, which we loved) with a little more attention.

Very BAD experience
Be careful !! Dont rent there.
When we arrived, we asked to see the property before paying the full amount they were asking (more than 4000 CAN) They didn't want us to go in unless I paid the full price. I thought that was very weird. After a very hard and long conversation, we managed to finally see the place : NOT AT ALL like the pictures : Dirty, very old climatisation, one of the rooms is actually like a small very hot cavern, furniture looked so cheap and uncomfortable.
It was like a bad studen hostel. I had my two young children with me. No way we could spend a week there. I had to find a hotel. A real nightmare. And they didn't offer any refund. They even kept the 400 euros they had as a safety.

Terrible Experience
We were assured when following up on a previous negative review right before we visited that everything was "fixed", It WAS NOT! Door from bedroom into living room doesn't close since the bed hits into the door, air conditioning is not large enough to cool apt. Upstairs bedroom & bath can only be used by very short persons since not a full sized room (and not A/C). Master Bath faces into a courtyard with full windows but blinds are old and not functioning so privacy is an issue. The apt. was dirty and looked like it hadn't been given a good cleaning in years, half of the light bulbs were burnt out. Finally, getting the keys for check in required a taxi ride and they only were able to allow 1 key for 6 adults. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.

Terrible experience! Photos totally different from reality
As we entered the apartment, we realized the photographs in the VRBO site had no resemblance to the current state of the apartment. The level of maintenance is regrettable. Numerous furniture items broken or in very poor condition, e.g. wardrobe drawers missing, doors that do not close, tiles on the floor and door handles missing etc.
Before entering we had to make the entire payment in a different address without the chance to see the apartment.
We immediately contacted My Space Barcelona, owners of the property, by phone and e-mail, describing all the problems, and sending photos. My Space said they were sorry for the bad experience, that they would send a maintenance worker and that no reimbursement would be possible. The worker did come, fixed a few minor issues, but the apartment remained as depressing as when we entered it.
We would advise VRBO to further check the property versus the photographs shown in its website. That would prevent future clients to experience such a bad situation.

Misleading and terrible.
This apartment is really damaged. Multiple door handles are missing or broken. One of the bathrooms doesn't lock. The kitchen cabinets fall off the hinges. There is no dish soap. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. There are no hand towels. The remotes didn't have batteries. It's dirty, the floors need to be mopped. We got shocked trying to turn on a bedside lamp. Also, the bedside lamp upstairs doesn't turn on.
I can go on, I got locked in the bathroom after the door handle fell off in my hand. The showers are insanely low - you have to crouch to get your head wet - and I'm average height. The upstairs bedroom has a five-foot ceiling.
Really disappointing, especially given how expensive this place was - we at least expected basic amenities and working cabinets.
The people renting to us were of no help, they said they'd send a handy man to fix things, which was laughable because so much needs fixing - but obviously that never happened. They asked us to send pictures to their whatsapp but never responded to our messages.

The condition of the apartment, including broken door handles, non-locking bathroom, faulty kitchen cabinets, lack of basic supplies, and overall cleanliness, is completely unacceptable.
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort caused by the maintenance problems, such as the shocks from the bedside lamp, low showerheads, and the low ceiling in the upstairs bedroom. Additionally, the lack of response from our staff and the failure to send a handyman to address these issues is inexcusable.
Your experience does not reflect the standards we aim to uphold. We will take immediate action to address these problems and improve the maintenance and communication processes to ensure future guests do not face similar issues.
We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention and hope you might give us another chance to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Catfish, nightmare, & disaster of a property. DO NOT BOOK!

This was the worst rental experience imaginable. The apartment looks nothing like the pictures. It is a true catfish and a complete fraud.
-No air conditioning in 2 of the 4 bedrooms
-One of the bathrooms and entire bedroom are in a crawl-space attic with 4.5 foot tall ceiling, deeming it impossible to use
-Busted walls, damaged floors, dirty, dusty & odorous
-Many windows "open" into an interior enclosed courtyard with no light/air
-Multiple broken lights, doors
-Check-In: No lockbox/no one welcoming us; we had to do a 30 min detour to fetch keys. They were rude when we mentioned the check-in process was inhospitable.
This catfish nightmare ruined our vacation as it was evident upon arrival that 6 adult men would NOT be able to stay there in any capacity. Therefore, we were forced to make last-minute hotel arrangements nearby after being on hold with VRBO for 2 hours, leaving our group scattered around Barcelona with some friends even abandoning the last days of their trip altogeher.
As for VRBO, their customer service is HORRIBLE. We wasted 2 hours Tuesday & 2 hours Wednesday on the phone with them without any sort of resolution. They sent us $120 VRBO credit saying, "sorry for the broken AC." The AC wasn't broken - it was non existent, and only ONE of many issues. This entire VRBO LISTING should be removed from the site so no other visitors go through the hell we experienced. The property is a sham & VRBO does NOT stand by their customers.
