Francisco, the owner, was very welcoming. House had everything we needed.
Pool was great although very deep so you need to be confident in the water.
Change of bedding and towels provided mid-stay.
There is a dog on the property. He was friendly and wasn't a problem for us, but if somebody is afraid of dogs, this would need to be taken into consideration.
There is a dog on the prop
We stayed here for 2 weeks and found all aspects pretty much perfect. Our host was very friendly, helpful and welcomed us with his own grown wine and a lunch that included his own olive oil.
The location is superb with views down the valley and clear star filled skies in the evening, the house is well equipped though I should say that due to the power being generated by solar it does mean that a standard hairdryer draws too much power to be able to be used.
The pool is a lovely extra touch and was a true treat on some the hot days while we were there. All in all we recommend this property and would gladly stay there again next time we are in the region
Far better than described, a really characterful traditional cortijo, but with all the comforts of home. The owner went far and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay, and even prepared the private swimming pool for us, even though it was still April. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and treated us like old friends right from the start. A very friendly layback dog stayed close by, but did not join you unless you wanted him to. This stay has been one of the most special and memorable holidays in a fantastic location. We would love to return The access road is rough in places, but we had little problems in a standard hire car.
My partner and I stayed here for 10 days . It is a real gem. We absolutely loved it . The location is stunning with glorious 360 degrees views . The casa is very comfortable and quaint and has all that you need . The swimming pool with it's sweeping views is wonderful .We ate on the balcony each evening overlooking the grape vines looking down into the valley with views of Orgiva and wonderful sunsets .Paco is a wonderful very friendly host . He is happy to share his wine made at the casa . It has a wine cellar ! The resident dog , Pooky, is a great friendly companion who is partial to sausages ! ( Provided by Paco!) and walks . We so enjoyed our stay , walking the Alpujarras most days and chilling by the pool late afternoons and evenings .The single road to the casa is about 3 km . It is made of concrete and fine with our hired car . But very twisty ! The verges , full of wild flowers were breath taking beautiful . You can drive on another 4 km up the mountain to hit the main road to Bubion . This single track was a mix of concrete and gravelWe can highly recommend Paco's place especially if you like quiet, big skies, incredible views and amazing walks very close by . It has gas and solar power . .
Schotter und Schlaglöcher könnten fĂŒr manche ein Problem sein ( 2,6 km).
Hundefreundlich sollte man auch sein.
Ein sehr schönes Haus und ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter.
