This cottage is well maintained and the owners have obviously have put a lot of thought into providing their guests with everything they would need for their stay.
Beautiful and comfortable property. We loved sitting by the fire pit and taking the canoe out. The host checked in with us mid week to make sure everything was going well. Very easy check in and out process.
Great place to get away from it all and relax! The home is exactly what you see in the pictures. The hosts were great & easy to reach if needed. The house was very clean. The air conditioning was kept at a very comfortable temperature. Having kayaks, life jackets, board games, and bags was a great addition. This was our first time in Maryland & we loved it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the distance into town for laundry or other necessities. If you donât need to worry about that, it would be five stars.
House and location are great. Hosts were responsive and helped us find a great place to order crabs. Loved taking the kayaks out. Would totally go back.
Beautiful home with all the comforts of home. Even with rains and a power outage, we had a blast! The owners were so responsive and quick to help! Loved our time here!
Seth's Landing was lovely, quiet, and clean. We enjoyed fishing from the backyard and having breakfast in the Adirondack chairs. Owner Sarah was responsive to my questions.
We enjoyed a long weekend at Sarah and Buckâs, where everyone had a great time hanging outside, going for kayak trips around the creek, finding some quiet time to read in a serene setting, and making a few quick trips into St Michaelâs. Sarah is a fantastic host, and the house had everything we could need for a much needed break.
We had a great visit, and the view is top notch. Really enjoyed sitting outside on the water, and really taking it in. We loved the location, close ramp for the jet ski, and taking walks around the neighborhoods. Only complaint is the bed in the master could use an update, but honestly we were so tired, it didnât matter much!!!! Thank you!!!
Relax while you sip your coffee overlooking the water. This historic house is a lovely getaway in a quaint town. The house is well stocked . Sarah suggested a place to get crabs ((a must while you're in Maryland)Our dogs loved their visit too. I definitely want to return maybe in the fall.
Wonderful private location with views of the creek. House is lovely and comfortable. Outdoor are is very quiet with fire pit and privacy. Fun fishing and kayaking. Overall a very nice time. Hosts are very nice and make sure you have all that you need. Thank you!
Beautiful, quiet location, house was very well equipped.
We had a wonderful stay! House is on the water with beautiful views. Neighborhood was very quiet, house was private with a lovely deck with a dinning table with views to the water.
Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Nice living room and bedrooms were both quite large with very comfortable bed and bedding.
Location was great, only 14 minutes to St Michaels with a wonderful farm stand along the way were we purchased delicious fresh locally grown corn, and peaches.
Air conditioning was great! Host communicated well.
We loved everything about our stay! Very quiet area, great place to sit by the water, perfect fire pit, and a clean and comfortable home. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks and canoe out to explore the surrounding area. Saw many birds, including blue herons, egrets, green herons, bald eagles, and more ospreys than we have ever seen in one place. Convenient town nearby with everything you would need. As a bonus, a really nice playground within a 2 min walk of the house. On top of everything, hosts were extremely welcoming and thoughtful. Very responsive too! Would definitely stay here again.
Property was as described, check in was easy and communication was responsive. The house is off a low traffic road where I was able to walk my dogs for several miles every day. Very friendly neighborhood and a short trip to St. Michaels and Tilghman Island. Had a great breakfasts at âTwo if by Seaâ restaurant on Tilghman Island.
We enjoyed our time in the Nesbit house very much. We spent hours outside by the fire pit enjoying the quiet and beautiful view. The house is lovely and very comfortable, with fresh linens and a comfortable king bed. The sitting room is lovely - a very nice space to have when it got too chilly to be outside!
We visited Seth's Landing to relax and catch up. The property was peaceful, serene and relaxing. The house was exactly what we needed to slow down from the hustle and bustle. Sitting by the water was the perfect place for getting lost in a book. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a slow-paced weekend away from the city.
The wi-fi is strong and the sunsets are stellar. This is a great place to retreat to whether you want to relax or get some fresh air while you work remotely. The kayaks were so much fun. We saw an osprey nest. Terrific hosts. Will be back and have already recommended to 10 friends.
Four adult members of my family and their dog stayed at this cozy house during a family reunion elsewhere. Their report? Great beds, nicely stocked kitchen, beautiful views and outdoor areas in which to enjoy them, squeaky clean, generous hosts who left a bottle of welcome wine, a place they'd love to return to! Bathroom being downstairs from the bedrooms is the only caution to those with mobility issues. My report? Sarah was very responsive, thoughtful and kind. We'll be back for the next family reunion -- maybe I'll insist on staying there this time around!
Great place for vacation... peaceful, beautiful views & comfortable beds! We loved it. Fire pit was great. Grill was great. Kitchen was nicely stock, but adhere to 4 people as dishwasher is apartment size. The only negative were the "sea nettles" but I understand they are all over Chesapeake. I'd love to return.
This property is a perfect getaway! We loved the waterfront views and the house is charming. The hosts were very attentive. They brought over a welcome basket and even left fresh eggs for us to enjoy. They also helped us find a sunset cruise right out of Neavitt. The house is very close to St. Michaels so we were able to explore the town and enjoy the restaurants there. Evenings were perfect with beautiful sunsets over the water and a fire pit. The yard was a great place for our dog, Lola, to relax and watch the geese! I highly recommend it.
This is a great little house, with a good size yard right on the bay. Real close to St Michaelâs and the shops and many top notch restaurants. The owners had many personal touches that make you feel right at home. Be aware that this is a 2 story house with the bathroom on the 1st floor. This could be an issue for some renters.
Beautiful location on the water with firepit and kayaks. Comfortable accommodations with fully equipped kitchen. In the quaint town of Neavitt close to St Michaelâs and restaurants. We had a lovely time. Friendly, helpful owner. Highly recommend this property!
What a quaint cottage with a terrific view. We even saw dolphins. Close to St Michaelâs and Easton so we had plenty to do. We enjoyed the surroundings with the fire pit and and chairs facing The creek.
Buck is an Eastern Shore native who returned to his roots after serving in the Navy. Sarah met Buck in the famous Carpenter Street Saloon on a weekend break from Georgetown University. After spending ten years working and residing in Washington, DC, the couple decided to move permanently to the vacation home they had built in Talbot County to raise their family in 2002. Together with their three kids, they enjoy the laidback lifestyle of the Shore - socializing with friends, boating, fishing and hunting.
Seth's Landing has been in Buck's family since the early 1900's. This home offered gorgeous views and had great "bones", but needed an owner with the time and know-how to fully renovate it. Buck was anxious to restore this property to its former glory. Seth's Landing provides great privacy and panoramic water views. Neavitt is a quintessential watermen's village where watermen have been harvesting the Bay's bounty for many generations. The towns surrounding this area offer year round entertainment including festivals, events, narrated historical cruises, food and wine tasting, and antique car and boat shows.
Our guests rave about the calm, quiet atmosphere and our beautiful setting. There is plenty to see and explore, including wonderful dining, in nearby towns, but if you want to unwind and de-stress you will be spending much of your time relaxing by the water or fishing from the docks. The home is reminiscent of a bygone era, but with the modern conveniences you need to be comfortable.
