Ce magnifique chalet a tout - 2 chambres à l'étage avec lits queen et draps de luxe; salle de bain complète à l'étage avec baignoire profonde. Laveuse et sécheuse pleine grandeur et détergents pour votre usage. Salon, salle à manger, bar, cuisine et salle de bain pleine grandeur sont situés en bas avec 2 portes coulissantes en verre sur la terrasse privée - toutes les vues sur l'eau! Very impressive! The property was decorated and kept pristine! The host had thought of everything we could possibly want or need, from crab traps, the steamer, etc… we had a fabulous 4 days. Cheryl and Tom were welcoming and kind. Would highly recommend and would love to come back!

Wonderful stay

Our family stayed over the long holiday weekend. We had a great experience the entire time. The entire property is immaculate, beautiful and all the amenities are amazing!! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The water views are stunning. The owners were welcoming and wonderful hosts! We can’t wait to visit again!

Bliss!

Everything about our stay at Cheryl’s beautiful property was perfect. The cottage is light, airy, very comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and lovely views onto the water from almost every window. When not visiting the charming, nearby towns of St. Michael’s and Easton, we enjoyed the gorgeous pool( which guests have to themselves) swimming,or gazing at the water from our lounge chairs. Bliss!

Peaceful, relaxing stay

We needed a few days away and this waterfront cottage hit the spot. Light-filled, clean, and quiet. We loved soaking in the hot tub, sitting at the pier, and walking around the neighborhood. The expansive lawn is perfect for kids of all ages and while we didn't use the firepit, it seemed to be well equipped. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage for a quick getaway.

Amazing time.

We had such a wonderful time at this cottage. It was perfect and the views were spectacular. Cheryl and Tom were great and they made sure we had everything we needed. It was very clean, the location couldn’t have been any better and the views were just awesome. We had tons of privacy and my boys 12 and 8 had plenty to do around there to keep them entertained. We hope to come back next yr.

Perfect in every way. Absolutely NO complaints and I'm super picky. Perfect attention to every detail (i.e., dimmers on every light switch). It's all those little things that make a great place perfect! Already booked for next sumner. A real gem!

Another wonderful stay!

This was our third summer visit to Tom and Cheryl’s beautiful property on Solitude Creek. We stayed longer this year and were so happy we did. The house looks as good as it did on our first visit 3 years ago. Everything is clean and kept so nicely. (The bed sheets are seriously the softest ever.) The house is perfect for 4. The girls (11 and 13) spent hours in the pool and enjoyed evening snacks on the dock. The lounge chairs with umbrellas were perfect for relaxing poolside while staying out of the sun. For the first time we tried out the hot tub too. We force ourselves to head into St. Michael’s a few times each trip —- but we’d be just as happy never to leave the property.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and I cannot express enough how delightful our experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a host who exemplified hospitality at its finest. Communication with the host was impeccable; they responded promptly and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. The property itself was a haven of comfort and cleanliness. It was evident that great care was taken to maintain a spotless environment. The spacious layout provided us with plenty of room to relax and unwind. We particularly enjoyed the luxurious hot tub, perfect for soaking away the day's adventures, and the cozy fire pit where we toasted marshmallows and made s'mores under the starlit sky. The outdoor amenities were just as fantastic. The expansive yard was a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts like us. We had a blast playing football in the lush greenery, and the basketball hoop in the driveway was a great source of fun and friendly competition. It's rare to find a property that offers such a perfect blend of relaxation and recreation. Overall, our stay at this VRBO property was nothing short of magical. The combination of a host who genuinely cared about our experience, a meticulously clean and spacious interior, and a plethora of outdoor activities made our vacation truly unforgettable.

The listing does not do this property justice. The dock to the water is just beautiful. There is a pool, hot tub, fire-pit. Seems like some folks have crabbed off the shore. The house has all the amenities we needed. Just a short drive to St. Michaels. It was lovely!

1000% would recommend. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and provided us with the utmost privacy. The house and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous, it was the perfect relaxing weekend getaway. This vrbo offers so many great amenities that made our stay so exciting and fun including a pool, hot tub, grill, hammock by the water, fire pit, dock, etc. The hosts even changed out the pool towels on the lounge chairs every morning. It is also a short 10 minute drive into St. Michael's which has so many cute restaurants and fun activities. My friends and I had a wonderful time here and we will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing stay. This house is everything we hoped for. The cottage is super clean, bedding was comfy, appliances clean and new, lawn and pool impeccably maintained. So many areas to enjoy the beautiful view. We spent most of our time on the dock under the umbrella reading and birding. The host met us when we arrived and gave us great dining suggestions. The location of the cottage is just 9 minutes from the Main Street in Saint Michael’s. Although she was at the main house we had all the privacy we needed. We are hoping to come back in the spring. 10/10

Once again we had an amazing time staying at Cheryl and Tom’s property! The house has everything we need and is so cozy. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is a hit with our daughter. My favorite part is having my morning coffee out on the dock.

Summer kickoff perfection

Within the first few hours, my husband, children (4y & 6y), and I had fallen in love with Cheryl and Tom’s cottage. Everything was better than pictured and Cheryl and Tom are excellent hosts. We had a glorious time exploring St. Michael’s and surrounding towns, and it was the perfect place to kick off summer. We look forward to many visits in the future!

Just as advertised!!!

The property looks exactly as advertised! Everything is absolutely beautiful! The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool is fabulous and the dock is perfect for morning coffee. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Cheryl and Tom were always available if needed and provided everything we needed. St. Michaels is so close and easy to get to. I would highly recommend and would go back again!

Feeling Rejuvenated

My husband and I returned for another summer stay and enjoyed everything as much as we have previously. Comfortable, relaxing, lovely view and amazing pool! Quintessential summer! And the cottage was clean and fresh as always. Loved using the hot tub and enjoying the fire pit also. Nice outdoor area for grilling and eating crabs too. Everything is top notch!

Tom and I are from Norfolk & Virginia Beach and have always loved the water. We found this beautiful lot in 1998 and had the Guest Cottage build on the Water side of the property. Then we started building our house and moved in in 2005. We love hosting and being able to share this magnificent property with others.

We love Royal Oak because it is quiet and convenient to all adjoining areas: Easton, St. Michael's and Oxford

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our property is very unique, since we live on same property as our Guest Cottage, we are able to make sure everything is in working order, clean and organized, as we would expect from a hotel or short-term rental. We can assist with firepit, putting umbrellas up, crabbing, changing out lounge cover towels, etc. We are here to make a wonderful experience while giving lots of privacy when needed - if guests are in pool - that is for their private use.
