Welcome to Blue Tortuga OIB! Catch rays from the beautiful open deck or enjoy shady, relaxing days on the covered deck. Our home is a quick 3 minute walk from the beach. Picture your days going from the pool to the ocean and back again. Enjoy the ability to walk to Town Center Park for the playground, splash pad, and summer movie/concert series.

Our home is on the desirable west end of the island with uncrowded and quick access to the beach. The main floor offers a spacious open living room and kitchen floor plan ideal for family to gather. Dine together comfortably at our large dining room table.

The space
Five bedrooms and five full bathrooms can accommodate your group. Ideal for family/friends to have privacy. Each bedroom other than the bunk room features an en suite bathroom. The layout is ideal for multi-generational families to enjoy a week at Ocean Isle together with a master on each floor along with plenty of space for older or younger kids. Linens are available to rent for a small charge from the cleaning staff.

Amenities include a private community pool, enclosed hot and cold outside shower, Keurig and coffee maker, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, blender, all cookware, high chair, pack 'n play, and secure Wi-Fi.

Very clean. Plenty of room. Easy walk to beach. Love the neighborhood feel, kids were able to bike around the circle without worrying about the main road traffic. Also enjoyed the beach supplies.

Check in and check out was easy. Wi-Fi reception was very good! The house and neighborhood were great. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked with lots of cabinet space to use.

Great family fun1

This house was a perfect fit for our family of 11: 6 adults and five kids ages 15, 15, 14, 12, and 10. The perfect fit of beds and bathrooms. We have stayed at many resorts, etc., but we have never found a house so well stocked with everything we would need for a beach vacation. The beach was just a 3-4 block walk away. The beach was not overcrowded, and the waves were perfect for our family enjoyment. The whole house was very comfortable. Kudos to the owners.

A great getaway

The house was perfect for our families, we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, probably one of the best stocked kitchens. We loved being on the corner and having some yard space for corn hole, etc.

Great location, great value

This house is in a great location, a short walk to the beach. Our group had seven adults and four kids and we were pleasantly surprised by how family friendly the house was. Having access to the pool within walking distance was a lifesaver. We had a great time!

Family Beach Vacation 2023

We thoroughly enjoyed this clean and kid friendly beach house! It was everything it said it was and what most of the other reviews had said about it. We all fit comfortably. It was a short walk to the beach. The pool was a short walk too and an a refreshing alternative to salt water. It was the most stocked beach house kitchen I had ever worked in, even the knives were sharp! The beds were all comfortable! The wrap around deck and deck furniture was comfortable outdoor space. We would definitely rent this one again!!

Wonderful location and host

The house was lovely. Perfect location. Lovely neighborhood. and beach access is literally directly across the street from neighborhood entrance. The host was a great communicator. Definitely would recommend this home to anyone.

A wonderful vacation home for 13 people

Very clean. Any item you could want for the home was there. We loved the tortuga decor. The kids enjoyed looking for them throughout the house. Pool was nice! Beds were comfortable. The kitchen worked well for several “cooks” at one time. Spacious Absolutely loved the decks. We spent a lot of time out there.

As advertised the home was very well stocked. Good location as it was an easy walk to beach and easier to the pool. OIB also has much to offer for entire family. I would suggest adding a recycle trash can in the kitchen to make it easier to collect recycle-ables

Amazing beach home!

Second year visiting this home for vacation, and it will not be the last! Very close to the beach and the house is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a family with small kids. It is also very nice that it is a 12-15 minute walk to the pier, putt putt, and all the shops at the center of OIB!

Great time at OIB!

This cottage is great for a fun-filled week at the beach! Everyone has his/her own space with a private bath. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there is plenty of indoor & outdoor space!

Wonderful home for large gatherings with kids

We had a great week with 8 adult family members and small children . The house was clean and well stocked with every cooking utensils, pots and serving needs for both adult and small children. The new outdoor furniture and wide porches were perfect for gathering outdoors for meals and again after the kiddos are asleep. The high chair, the pack and play , the kids DVDs , the plastic wear for kids meals and the beach wagon all were in great shape and added to ease of our stay. The pool is just a short walk on the way to the public beach access. The Summerset neighborhood is great for riding bikes with kids. Highly recommend!

Extremely Clean With All Necessities for a Beach Trip

This is a great house for a larger family. Our family had a blast and this house had everything and anything we needed. It was very clean when we arrived and the location was good! The owners were great in communication when we had something to break. We hope to return to this spot in the future!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. There were 9 of us total and there was plenty of room for all of us. There was a couple of very small issues but they were taken care of right away. Ben was great at responding quickly to any inquiries right away and the property management company was very helpful as well.

Thanksgiving at the Beach

The kitchen was extremely well equipped which made Thanksgiving dinner perfect for 9 of us. Lots of lighting, which is a pet peeve of mine for many rentals. The home is very comfortable, within a short walk to the beach. The owners quickly responded to all questions and even offered to provide extra kitchen supplies if we needed them. A great home and would rent it again.

Amazing and accomodating home in a great location

Lovely home and easy to cook and feed dinners to large group. Variety of pots and pans as well as enough plates and flatware for all. I would highly recommend this vacation home.

Overall amazing home!

Great location for an Ocean Isle Beach vacation. Very close to the beach and a short walk to the shops/activities/restaurants. House is very comfortable and plenty of space to spread out. Our trip had several rainy days but the house had plenty of activities (puzzles, games, and movies) to keep both of my young boys entertained. Would recommend this house 100%!
