Great family option

Very clean and plenty of space for our family of four. Amazing views and quick walking access to grocery store and cute town with plenty of restaurant options.

Ohhh the view ! , thankyou to the owners for sharing their fantastic home , and vanessa who met us on arrival even sending us maps directions en-route , after holidaying in Portugal as a family for the last 15 years this was our first venture into Spain what a start at Mijas Pueblo in such a beautiful prorperty , once again thanks Bob and Terry. Lovely Mijas

The property was spacious and well equipped. the entrance to the property is just off the main road at the back of the Pueblo which made it a little bit tricky to find initially and it is difficult to park / unpack cases etc until you have checked in as that is when you get the parking fob. The lady checking us in did not speak english which wasn't ideal when we rang for directions. The property is easily big enough for 4 adults and two kids but may be a bit tight for 6 adults unless you are all 1 family.

Disappointed

We were both very disappointed with this holiday. It was booked with a view to "boost up" my wife after her operation (in fact it had the opposite effect !). It took over an hour to gain access into the property after eventually having a management team of 4 trying to overcome a faulty yard gate lock into property. This was never fixed in our 10 day stay !!! There are other issues that were annoying, but I will not list but the 2 main issues that are really unacceptable :- 1) No folder showing how appliances work. 2) The stairs are dangerous (no hand rail). We have stayed in many VRBO properties before but this one was below there normal standard, and we have never complained before.

Wow! Simply stunning place and apartment

What a holiday! The apartment is absolutely fantastic, very homely feeling and very well equipped. We loved every aspect of it and the views are breathtaking. We found everything we could possibly need in the apartment and felt very at home there, the owners have made it a very nice environment to spend time in. The pool was great and very family friendly with plenty of communal inflatables for the kids to enjoy and there was always enough sunbed's available when needed. The roof terrace in the apartment was a particular bonus and looked to be one of the only properties in the complex with this feature, we also made use of the bbq up there too on a few occasions. The staff at Target estates who are the letting agents for the property were also outstanding, very friendly and communicated excellently throughout the whole booking process and holiday itself. We had one issue with the washing machine not working 1 day and Raquel had it sorted within a couple of hours - great service! - and they were also very helpful in getting our very early morning taxi to the airport sorted. The apartment complex is just a 5 minute walk from the centre of the stunning town centre of Mijas with lots of great bars, restaurants and cafes along the way. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough as a base to see Mijas and the surrounding areas, with the local bus to Fuengirola and Torremelinos on the doorstep. The only word of caution I would advise is that the apartment is at the top of the complex meaning there are either quite a few steps or a steep hill to climb to get to it, so not ideal for people with mobility issues (but you can always get a taxi if you can't face the climb). We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat if we come back to the area in the future. An overall outstanding family holiday made all the more special by the top class accommodation.

Mijas, er garanti for en god ferie.

Ferien i Mijas har igen været fantastisk. Et sted for hele familien og en god base for udflugter til de mange seværdigheder som er inden for et par timers kørsel.

Muy buena opcion en el pueblo de mijas si no se tienen dificultades motoras

La casa es preciosa, con todas las comodidades y bien amueblada. Las camas comodas y la cocina muy completa. La agencia nos solucionó enseguida los problemas que surgieron. Sin embargo no es apta para personas con dificultades motoras. Muchas escaleras y mucha cuesta para llegar.

Lovely stay

We arrived mid August for 2 weeks got the train from the airport to Fuengirola then a taxi up . We were greeted and shown around the place . The views are stunning. It’s a fair walk up from the town which is not too far away . If you have walking problems this is not the place for you . There’s everything you need and more . There’s only two sunbeds on the patio would of been nice to have 4 for the adults . Great Bbq up there along with toilet shower and sink. Loads of cupboard space in all the bedrooms I stayed in the main bedroom ouch my back the mattress is really hard. All the others were more than happy with there’s . Mijas itself there’s so much to do and lots going on every day/ night . We watched the catholic procession just wow!! The pool is rather small but ample the first week we couldn’t get a sunbed even though it did say you cannot reserve people still did . I was up around 7:30 and already towels were down . This past week a lot seem to of gone home so wasn’t a problem getting one There’s only about 12 beds. . Overall we’ve had a fabulous time and will definitely be recommending it and hopefully be returning in the near future . Racquel thank you for your all support you’ve been a wonderful host .

Loved it!

The house was beautiful, clean and very well equipped - better than most! There were basics like tea, coffee, cleaning essentials and toiletries left there so no need for an instant dash to the supermarket. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery and the knives were sharp - not always the case in rented accommodation. There was plenty of information about the house and the surrounding area, books to read, pads, pens and even spare light bulbs. The restaurant at the bottom of the stairs was really nice and handy after a long day at the beach. The only drawback was the pool - great for the kids and we could see the pool from one of the terraces but there little room for the loungers but only to be expected up in the mountains! The only other thing I would suggest is a slightly more robust hairdryer! There is an underground parking space but it is a bit of a walk from the house. However, we had no problem parking everyday on the main road just up from the front of the house. Target Estates staff were very efficient and helpful and were waiting for us when we arrived on the Sunday afternoon. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property. It is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated in a traditional but uncluttered style and the views are breathtaking. It is lovely and quiet and just a short stroll from everything Mijas Pueblo has to offer. I look forward to visiting again, sitting on the roof terrace and sipping a glass of wine.........! Well done to the owners!

Perfect Holiday Home

This hous is without a doubt the best choice we could ever made! We enjoyed till the last minute! Fantastic views, very clean and superb located! I highly recommend this holiday home!

Welcome to our holiday home in the heart of the beautiful and magical Mijas Pueblo. It took us 2 years of searching to find the right place in a location we would look forward to coming back to time after time.

We are currently working hard to refurbish our charming Andalusian style house (to include new bathrooms), ready for the summer of 2017. For this reason the internal pictures are a bit limited but hopefully the stunning panoramic views of the coast from the balcony and roof terrace and the pretty, cobbled back streets full of plants, orange trees and fountains will give you an idea of just how special this place is.

We are sure you will fall in love with the pueblo as much as we have and hope you will enjoy a stay in our home.
