Very nice private property

The property exceeded our expectations in the main, well presented, spotlessly clean and perfect for a romantic holiday. Check in was thorough even on a Saturday evening with regular availability to speak with management via WhatsApp ( not that we needed to apart from once) Facilities excellent and even included a table tennis table! We found the fresh lemons from the laden trees fab for our evening G&T’s. Only minor issue was the pool was cold, warmer in the October sea, which we chose to use.

5 Star all the way

Possibly the best Villa in Rhodes. We had the most fantastic week in Villa Amilie. This property is defiantly worth 5 stars and more. It has everything you need for a great holiday. The pool is fantastic, now has steps going into it, the orange grove provides wonderful shade. There is a massive outdoor space for eating, playing, relaxing. The Air conditioning was perfect. The villa is equipped with everything you need, you will want for nothing. The owners offer the highest professional sevice with the warmest of welcomes down to supplying all your needs from groceries to taxi's plus all the information you require. This is a very safe quiet tranquill villa with plenty of eateries close by and 10 mins to centre of Old Rhodes town where you can catch boats for day trips to other islands, go fishing, do sight seeing, do lots of shopping, eat drink & be merry. The beach is just across the road from the property with blue azure glaze and great eateries. I would reccomend Villa Amilie for couples, families, or a group of friends holidaying, a fantastic place/space for all. For self catering this is one of the best villas I have ever stayed in. Villa Amilie is 5 star for its indoor & outdoor space 5 star for its cleanliness (spotlessly clean) inside & out 5 star heated clean inviting swimming pool 5 star children's amenities 5 star romantic for Couples Total 5 stars all the way.. Thank you so much Savvas, Nikos and the lady who cleans and Mosies the Taxi man for making our stay such a delightful & wonderful time. Would highly reccomend to all. From Nikki & Lou, who stayed for a week at Villa Amilie from 5th September to 12th 2018.

Wunderbarer Urlaub als Familie

Das sehr süße Häuschen war für uns gerade richtig. Obwohl doch mitten im Zentrum von Ixia kurz vor Rhodos-Stadt ist man am Ende der Sackgasse in einer ruhigen und uneinsichtigen Zone. Hinter dem Grundstück stehen nur Bäume, aber auch auf dem Gelände spenden Zitronen- und Orangenbäume Schatten. Auch der kleine, aber feine Pool war für uns mit Kindern genau richtig und wurde viel genutzt. Im Haus selbst haben wir eigentlich alles, was wir brauchten vorgefunden, und bei den wenigen Ausnahmen war Savvas jederzeit ansprechbar und sorgte für Abhilfe. Wenn man etwas von der schönen Insel und den schönen Stränden sehen möchte, benötigt man ein Auto, aber vor Ort ist der Strand ebenfalls fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir hatten 2 wunderschöne Wochen :-)

Beautiful villa close to the beach

We were so happy to find this gem of a place in Ixia. Five minutes to the beach, restaurants, bars, shops and bus stop for links to Rhodes town, 15 minutes away. Yet very quiet as at the end of a cul-de-sac. The villa itself sits in it's own grounds with an orange grove, beautiful flowers, large patio with plenty of furniture and sun loungers and private pool. There's a double bedroom with sofas in the living room which convert to beds if needed. Probably only for children as you need to pass this room to get to the bathroom. There's a compact kitchen which has everything you need and more. The place was spotlessly clean and Savvas was on hand to check us in and explain everything. A lovely gentleman, very helpful amd gave us all the help we needed. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Beautiful Villa Amelie

We had a wonderful 8-9 days at Villa Amelie. It is a beautifully appointed villa with secure garden and it worked perfectly for our family of 4 (18 and 13 year old). It is very pretty! Gardens are secure and surprisingly large and the villa and gardens are kept immaculately clean and tidy. We love the Ixia side of the island (breeze) and the villa is close to all amenities but is tucked away from any noise and bustle. Shops, tavernas and beach are all a 5 minute walk away. Bus, taxi and car hire all very accessible - it's an easy bus ride to Rhodes Town. Savvas was a perfect owner - all queries answered promptly and he arranged airport transfers for us as part of the rental. I can highly recommend.

Serene and Beautiful

We had a great stay here, it is perfect, lovely private villa in a busy place but so quiet where you are, there are lots of bars, restaurants, supermarket and the beach within 5 minutes walk, the airport is 15 mins drive away, Savvas was great, replied to texts immediately and looked after our every need and even sorted out our transfers for us - thank you Savvas! Pool is small but great for cooling off in and there are 2 sunbeds and the outside table for breakfast and lunch. Lots of towels and the air-conditioning works well. I would definetly recommend it!

Amelie is in a quiet haven and only a short walk from all tourist's needs.

Amelie is a sun trap with a large, patio area and a well kept garden. We spent most of out time outside where there are plenty of chairs and loungers plus a hammock. The house is cool and comfortable with most mod cons. Considering the proximity of the main road, it is an amazingly quiet location. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the bus stops into Rhodes or to the airport are only a few minutes walk away. The only downside is the depth of the pool - it must be 2 metres deep all round, hence no gentle easing into the pool and no sitting on a step letting the water lap around you to cool you down. I would have been concerned had I had young children with me. However, I would recommend it for couples or families with older children. Savvos was a welcoming host and the housekeeping was very good.
