Very friendly and helpful host.The cottage exceeded our expectations and was spotlessly clean and everything you could think of was supplied(even down to toothpaste and toothbrushes).The parking was a bit tight for our estate car but ample space outside the cottage.

When we arrived at the cottage on Sunday we were met by Naomi, she made us feel very welcome and showed us into the lovely cosy lounge. Naomi had laid a fire in case it was cold in the evenings and there was a very generous welcome tray. The cottage was very clean throughout and the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with every thing we needed and more for our stay.It was so peaceful and quiet day and night, slept so well and felt totally relaxed all week.We had a mix of weather but we still had a great stay and did all we had planed out before our visit. We hope to visit again one day soon.Many thanks Naomi We can highly recommend this property for its cleanliness ,peace and quiet and caring host.John & Sue 31st May - 7th June 2026

The host was superb! We were greeted with a warm welcome, the fire burning and Christmas presents under the tree! The cottage was cosy and well stocked with logs, coal , kindling and every utensil in the kitchen. It made our perfect Christmas getaway.Our pup Teddy was also made very welcome

Naomi’s hospitality was amazing. Location and cottage first class and so much thought put into cottage requirements and needs. Welcome pack was totally amazing and kept us going over our weeks stay. Dog friendly too and Naomi welcomed our Aila with lots of cuddles. Thanks for an amazing stay.

A quaint cottage situated in a lovely area. The host was welcoming and the cottage had everything you could possibly require. The welcome package was very generous and much appreciated.

Naomi left a very comprehensive welcome package including wine, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cake & biscuits.The cottage is very quaint and traditional which may not be to everyone's taste. Location is excellent for touring the area.

Lovely cottage

Very pretty cottage with large and beautiful gardens, very well equipped, private, situated a short drive from Cart Gap - a perfect beach for swimming. Very glad we chose the cottage.

Amazing as always

Lovely fisherman cottage, beautiful scenic views and a wonderful host. We have visited a few times now for New years and are never disappointed. The local food is delicious and your a stones throw away from the beach. Highly recommended

Quaint and cosy cottage walking distance to the sea

If you’re looking for something a bit out of the ordinary this is for you. The authentic old fisherman’s cottage is a cosy retreat, an open fire, comfy warm beds and a welcoming owner who provides lots of local goodies.
