La rĂ©gion de la Costa Blanca en Espagne offre un soleil toute l'annĂ©e, les plages de sable blanc sont parsemĂ©es de villages de pĂȘcheurs prĂ©servĂ©s et de villes historiques. Altea est le joyau de cette rĂ©gion spectaculaire et notre appartement est au coeur de la ville. Altea est entourĂ©e d'oliveraies, de forĂȘts de pins et des eaux bleues scintillantes de la MĂ©diterranĂ©e. L'appartement est Ă  distance de marche de la magnifique Ă©glise de la Virgen del Consuelo, qui peut ĂȘtre vue depuis la terrasse. Devant l'Ă©glise se trouve une belle place bordĂ©e de restaurants, cafĂ©s et bars, de ce point il y a de nombreuses rues sinueuses menant Ă  la plage / promenade. Certains des meilleurs restaurants espagnols et internationaux d'Altea sont ici. Altea a de nombreuses fĂȘtes tout au long de l'annĂ©e, la plus grande et la plus cĂ©lĂšbre Ă©tant la fĂȘte des Maures et des ChrĂ©tiens en septembre, il y a trois jours de cĂ©lĂ©bration, c'est un festival Ă  ne pas manquer.

Just got back from a stay at this lovely apartment. Everything was exactly as described, and owner couldnt have been more helpful.The location is just perfect for a short stroll into the Old Town which we found bustling at night with bars and restaurants. We had a large hire car so used the little car public park 4 minutes walk away. We have already booked again for next year!

This is an extremely well equipped apartment (especially in the kitchen) that really has everything one could need. The heating (it was mega cold while we were there) was efficient but we had to have it on all night quite high as the duvets were more suited to hot summer weather. We had rugs to supplement though. I'm just thinking of the owner's heating bills! The best pillows (SO important) I have encountered in a rental! Note that VRBO has it listed as having a bath (their mistake, not the owner's, as I had discussed this with him earlier) but it has a shower. Shirley, the manager was very helpful seeing us in. A small friendly supermarket is just a few minutes walk away. Great restaurants also. All in all a great place to stay. It must be lovely in the summer!

Perfect little place!

Had a lovely stay. The place is so cute! Be aware that you are at the top of a hill and be prepared to do a lot of walking. Easy walk to the old town square and shopping/restaurants. Lovely little bakery and coffe place around the corner.

Just returned from an excellent week here. Super clean and tidy, great communication. Property is nice and quiet, but at the same time, very close to the old town which is quite something, especially in the evenings. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Had pool to ourselves most of the time as not too many apartments in the block. Also a great pebble beach at the bottom of the hill, which also stays fairly quiet. Pretty much ticked every box for us

My third happy stay!

I regularly choose to come stay here when visiting with family, because its comfortable, easy to manage, very located for walking into town - both the central hilltop plaza and the beachfront - as well as coming in by car. Owner Mark is very responsive as well as Shirley the local manager.

Super convenient, spacious flat near beautiful centre of Altea

Glad to be staying at this 2-bed flat again - its easy walking distance to central plaza near the church, or down to the beach. Shops nearby. Garage parking, and easy access via car to get in and out of town. Fast response from property owner, and additional support close at hand.

A lovely place to stay

A lovely apartment in the centre of town on a quite side street, the beautiful old town is on the doorstep and with a nice stroll down to the modern sea front you have the best of both worlds. The booking process was very easy and the owners were extremely helpful offering information and great recommendations for things to do, local restaurants and some nice places to have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. The apartment was very clean and tidy and offered everything you need for a very pleasant stay. We definitely hope to return some time soon

Situated one street below the historic centre, about a 20 min walk from the paseo marĂ­timo (seaside), the apartment is equipped, clean and bright, although not refreshed. The arrival was efficient. Parking space available, although tricky with a larger car. Overall, very comfortable.

“Fantastic Stay – Thoughtfully Equipped and Great Location!”

This property is in a modern, secure building close to the old town and features a pool. We stayed in early March with our 4-year-old daughter, who absolutely loved it. While the water was a bit chilly for a full swim, she still enjoyed dipping her toes in, and my husband found it refreshing.The hosts have pretty much thought of everything you might need for a holiday, from games and holiday books to outdoor furniture and loungers. The well-stocked kitchen was a bonus, with oil, herbs, spices, and even coffee pods—a thoughtful touch! The provided pool towels were also much appreciated.We stayed for two weeks and felt right at home. If we return, we wouldn’t hesitate to book this accommodation again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place to stay!

We were in Altea for a wedding and found this wonderful apartment just on the outskirts of the most beautiful old town of Altea. The apartment has everything you need - a home away from home - and having a pool just a couple of steps away was a massive bonus! It was spotlessly clean - just perfect! I would also like to give a massive thanks to Shirley, who not only collected and delivered us from/to the airport, but also saved us from being stranded and took us to the wedding! I would highly recommend staying here, and if we return to Altea,we would definitely stay here! Thank you Mark and Shirley.

From the moment we booked we had great communication from the owner Mark, who was always on hand to answer any questions we had pre travel & throughout our stay. As we didn’t hire a car the apartments location was key. It was a 5/10 min walk to the old town with its array of bars & restaurants & about the same to Altea’s lovely seafront, although the walk back up was not as easy in the heat!! There was a supermarket that was 5 mins away which had everything we needed during our stay, it was not one of the big chain ones so was slightly more expensive but it was fine for what we needed, fresh bread, water, meats etc. The apartment had everything we wanted although we ate out most days & evenings you would have no problem cooking a meal if you wanted. The added bonus of having a small pool was a relief on hot days, although there is a strict no use of the pool during siesta time which was 3-5pm. This didn’t bother us as it gave us some rest bite from the heat but may be an issue if you were travelling with children. Overall a great apartment, it was clean & it was all about the location, location, location!

Amazing experience

The apartment is very nice and clean. Communication with the owners was just excellent and we had no problems with checking in, the stay, or the checkout. The apartment had two sleeping rooms and a pool outside and a garage place. It is just a 5-10 mins walk from the beach and a 2 min walk from the church, which is the lively center of the village in the evenings. Just amazing. We highly recommend the place and thank Mark for the hospitality.

Visit to assist family member

This is a really superb place to stay. From booking to leaving everything was perfect. Shirley and Kevin were so helpful and being collected and returned from and to the airport a real bonus. The apartment was spotless and has a well equipped kitchen with everything needed for making meals. The bed was comfortable with lots of hanging space for clothes. Lovely towels and a spacious bathroom. A real bonus having the pool a step away from the sunny terrace terrace. The well stocked supermarket was nearby and a fabulous patisserie just down the steps . An ideal location for restaurants and all amenities. I hope I get the opportunity to stay again when next I am in Altea. thank you for such a great stay.

Wonderful break in Altea - Perfect accommodation

The location and standard of the apartment was perfect. We were minutes walk along cobbled streets from the centre of Altea old town with a stunning square in front of the church, plus several bars, cafes and restaurants in close proximity. A further 5 minutes walk down the hill was Altea beach front/promenade which we visited most mornings for coffee and something to eat. We were able to check in slightly early (excellent communications from Shirley our local contact for checking in), plus there was flexibility for the checking out time on the final day as we had a late flight. The apartment came with a basement parking space which was suitable for the small car we hired. We highly recommend staying here and plan to return. Mark, thank you so much for the help and messages in the lead up to our stay, plus the flexibility with check in/check out times. Much appreciated.

Great property, a few minutes walk from the old town

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment and would recommend it thoroughly. The location is great, right beside the beautiful old town where we ate every night in the wide variety of affordable restaurants. It is a 10 min walk from the sea front. The property has 2 beds and also a fold up bed. There is parking and a small pool which is easy to access from the apartment as it is just out the gate. We were the main users of the pool. There is a local supermarket 2 mins walk away. Mark (and Shirley) were very helpful and responsive and there was a nice bottle of wine on arrival. If we’re ever in Altea again we’ll be back.

Winter Holiday

Spent four weeks in the comfortable and well equipped apartment. Owner Mark was excellent to deal with and Shirley, the local contact was very helpful. The weather was not as good as we had hoped but very pleasant when the sun was shining. Plenty of restaurants in the nearby Old Town, we liked Shabby Chic, and along the long promenade, we liked Classic India and Fresco. We walked a lot and took the bus to Clape, the tram to Denia, Benidorm and pretty Vila Joiosa. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency and one of us spent two nights in the Hospital De La Vila Joiosa where the care was excellent!

Fantastic holiday... arrived to a spotlessly clean apartment...with white fluffy towels. It is definitely a home from home...comfortable with everything you could possibly need...including a dishwasher...beautiful pool area... l went with kids 14..11 and 6... they loved being near the old town which has the best icecream and patisserie..we had great neighbours who were helpful..pleasent and great to talk with... couldnt beleve how beautifully decorated and furnished the house was... parking was underground which was great as it kept the car cool.. although you dont need a car as your so close to everything and there is a mono rail service regularly in altea. We have been to altea on a few occasions so we got a car so we could go further up snd down the coast. You will be spoilt for choice with lots of fantastic restaurants... the oldtown is full of beautiful boutiques and has a great atmosphere...you wont find hen and stag dos.. its a family and couples kind of place.. Please take a look at this property you will not regret it... thanks to mark and linda for all the information and personal touches that made our holiday the best one yet... you will definitely hear from us in the future if we are lucky enough to get a booking.x

Casa Leah is a family owned apartment in Altea. Our family is based throughout Europe and the Southern Hemisphere, it is regularly used by all members whether for a quick weekend break by individuals or a more exciting larger family reunion! It has been a fantastic family holidaying spot since it's purchase and is enjoyed from grandparents through to grandchildren. There is always something new happening in the town or the local area for a some adventure! Family and friends use this property whether with their own children, friends or even on their own for some solitude. This property will remain within our family for years to come as it has happy memories and will inevitably make many more.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property was bought in Altea as it was a new, modern build but had considerations for its location to the historical walled Old Town-1 minute walk away. The more modern beach promenade is less than a 10 minute stroll downhill.

Altea has numerous restaurants and bars ranging from quaint to truly gourmet, some are mentioned in foreign "foodie" publications. Many of these establishments have incredible views of the Mediterranean and the nearby mountain ranges with their fairy-lit towns. There are cafés and bakeries everywhere, great for a morning coffee stroll or packing for a picnic.

The surrounding region has many pretty villages along the coast and inland that are famous for their foods, wines, fiestas and markets.

Altea is easily accessed from Alicante or Valencia airport.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The property is ground floor and was deliberately chosen by the family for this reason. The courtyard at the back of the lounge continues straight out into the communal pool area. This is a great if you have children or just want to have a quick dip.

Also this region of Spain is well travelled by cyclists whether in winter training or during the season. Being a ground floor apartment the access for bikes straight out onto the street has been great for the keener family members!

Due to the great location local convenience stores are only a shot walk away making unnecessary to constantly rely on a vehicle.

There are many local beaches, Altea, La Villa Joyosa and Calpe are our favourites. Beach towels and other picnic equipment, including chairs are supplied so you can travel light!
