Overall our stay was great! Amazing view of the valley and town of Medford. Plenty of room for all of our family. More than was stated on the vrbo site. Had to work through a couple issues with the Manager, but she was workable.
Kitchen was stocked well, but could use some more organization. Beds were comfortable.
Thanks for sharing the house with us!
The house was great! Plenty of room for all to enjoy. Great front and back porches.
The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived
Petra was very responsive-- Thank you Petra!
Overall this property suited our needs perfectly. The oder in the upstairs room overlooking the valley was disappointing and the place had not been dusted in a while. But the view made up for it and the excellent location made it easy to explore anywhere in the valley!
This is a beautiful house with a magnificent view.
Our family stayed here for one week, over Christmas (7 adults, 1 child). My husband & I took the master bedroom on the main floor; our daughter's family took the upstairs and our son's the downstairs (where the TV is). Suggest you take books and/or games to play; also helpful if you have a Netflix account in order to watch the TV. The kitchen had everything one could want and all of the appliances worked well. There are 2 refrigerators, washers and dryers. The gas fireplace was lovely. The master closet was amazing and the master bath was very nice. We were able to park in the large double garage. A downside for me was the lack of good lighting in both the living room and the master bedroom, but I have vision issues and the rest of the family didn't seem to have a problem with this.
The reason I didn't give this house 5 stars is the upstairs shower leaked into the dining room and couldn't be used. The owner was aware of this and thought it had been fixed. I'm sure it will be before the next guests arrive.
We booked this property for five couples, the description for the 5 bathrooms was as follows: bathroom 2: toilet, combination tub/shower, bathroom 3, toilet, combination tub/ shower, bathroom 1: toilet, shower, jetted tub, bathroom 4: toilet, shower, bathroom5: toilet, shower. By that description we believed there were 5 full baths, perfect for us. When we arrived we discovered that the house actually had 3 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. I brought this to the owners attention immediately and the owner said she didn't think the listing was misleading, however, she immediately changed her listing to now read 3 full baths and 2 half baths. We felt we were due some compensation for the misleading posting as we would not have booked this property had we known it did not have five full bathrooms. We have made a formal complaint to VRBO and to the owner, however, the owner doesn't feel we should be compensated anything and VRBO has not even responded to our complaint.
The house itself is very big and pretty and the view is fantastic, but we also discovered a break in had occurred just before our arrival and didn't feel secure staying at this property. There were numerous items missing and it was obvious that the burglars had intended to return.Unfortunately it was too late for us to find another location so we made the best of both the misleading configuration of the house and the issues caused by the break in. There was a security system in the house, but it was not operating during our stay. The owner did return our cleaning fee to compensate us for the condition of the house when we arrived but has not been willing to compensate us further for the misleading description of the bathrooms.
We would not return to this property and would urge anyone that does consider staying here to check into the security of the area and the house.
Excellent home for a gathering of family and friends!
We stayed at this beautiful home for our bi-annual family reunion. We had more than enough beds for everyone - and they were very comfy. The common areas are spacious and inviting. We had a wonderful time! The smoke from fires around the state kept us inside a lot, but we never felt crowded. The huge dining table is great for a couple of simultaneous card games. The kitchen was big enough so that many people could help cook and clean up. Baby gates kept the tiniest ones off of the stairs - and allowed parents to relax. Overall, it was the best reunion we've had. Thanks so much!
We rented this lovely place for a week over Christmas as we needed a place to gather our family, celebrate and await the birth of a grandchild. The baby waited longer than some of us could, but the property didn't fail to deliver. It's quite spacious, well appointed, with a decently equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, large gas fireplace and a million dollar view. Whether it was a sunny day or fogged in, we enjoyed watching the valley from above, especially at night. Our hosts checked in with us regularly and addressed any questions we had immediately. Overall, a great stay!!!
This home is amazing! We have been renting VRBOâs for almost 15 years and this home ranks if not the best one of the best. The view is incredible. The house is not only spectacular architecturally but the interior design and furnishings made us felt like we were staying at a lodge-like resort. The overall accommodation made it very comfortable for our group of 12 retired/semi-retired traveling male golfers. Finally, you could not ask for a better owner, Petra was very accommodating, warm and welcoming.
My only negative comment is that Homeaway seems to be more difficult to deal with.
We loved the house and property! Owners very accommodating and kind. Master suite is dreamy with jacuzzi bath! Family members said other beds were comfy. Kitchen well stocked and view is outstanding! Highly recommend this vacation rental! â€ïž

I have never quite stayed in a place like this before, where I felt like a king when I walked in! This house is spacious and welcoming, with lots of room for activities and sleeping arrangements! My favorite part was the conference room with the big old table in it and chairs surrounding it! I will definitely stay here again in the future!
